- This is the WORLDS longest driver & everyone is saying that this driver will not be beaten! I had to take it out on the golf course and give it a test! Club golfers are hitting personal best driver distances with this driver and its time to see what I can do with this super strange and LONG driver! Warning through it is NO LONGER legal!
Today I take out and test the worlds longest driver and see if it really does make me hit the driver of the TEE LONG and straight and over 300 yards easily! this will not be easy BUT lets see how we hit this Illegal driver!

Throughout my golf time a Taylor Made R540 9.5 with a stiff stock shaft worked extremely well with my swing at the time. Accurate and long with a slight draw. It was one of those clubs that I seemed to get more out of the club than I put in. Would love a retro review on this stick. The Burrows review really opened my eyes.

Alex it was legal when I bought mine so it is grandfathered in as far as I'm concerned. I have a
fiberglass shaft in the one I have and it is long. I recommend it for senior golfers or anyone looking
for extra distance. It is so fun to hit. Thanks for the video.
I never owned a MAC Burrows driver, but I hit a friend's Power Sphere driver a couple of times years ago and was impressed.
I played this driver and 3 wood back around 2007. It actually performed well. I still have them both and they are in great condition.

Keep it going Alex. These videos are fun. Would be interested if you could test the old Cobra “Long Tom” driver. I think it had a 48” shaft. I’d also like to see you hit the Callaway ERC and the Callaway C4.

lol wow I haven’t seen one of those in play in a minute….. I actually have this in a 6.5 as a paper weight. The shaft broke about 20 years ago and I never reshafted. I was just thinking a couple of weeks ago about putting one in for old time sake.
Should hit it next to the titleist/callaway of the same year to get a better comparison
Genex 425 was the first driver that I hit/owned that saw a huge jump in my distance. Before the Genex 425, I was hitting the ball between 190-205 yds with a Callaway GBB, my first shot with the Genex 425 was 275 yds. Subsequently, my drives got longer and longer, many of them beyond 300 yds. My Genex 425 was out-driving the TaylorMade R5, then R7, and then the R9. The problem with the driver was that it was not forgiving and I subsequently switched to the 1st gen TaylorMade Burner which was much more forgiving but quite a fair bit shorter in distance. You might like to try it. (Note that the next Genex driver - the 460 did not hit the ball as long. I think the company folded (or was acquired, not sure) after producing two drivers.

Another fun video! Would really like to see confirmation in these videos if the club is actually illegal or not. I would totally try and find a cheap one of these to see if I like it but I don't wanna bother if I can't even play it.

I have got a couple of Mac B wedges.
I currently play a 2000 release PGF V8 450cc Beta Ti driver in regular flex 45.5" length. I regularly drive 250m - 280m which is = 270yrds to 306yrds. I've just re-gripped the thing and it's performing great. Plus I can't really hurt it. No need for a very expensive carbon piece of modern break-easy-crap.

Had one 2003-2005. My favorite driver ever. Face cracked and company was out of business by then.
Why do you think because a club is old that it's non conforming? The Burrows drivers are still on the USGA conforming list and you can easily find them 🤷🤦🤔

Another driver that comes up in urban legends is the Nickent 4DX if you want to give it a shot.
you r not taking into acc what soft of ball you r using !!! and that could make a few yards diff ..... compare to balls from the time to really compare !!
