Insane luck. I don’t have a hard time being happy for others but the jealousy this event is real. I did 23 raids and didn’t even get a 3 star. The RNG part of this game really has an impact on mental health. I wish I didn’t watch these videos but I like supporting people and know I’m just being a brat having this feeling. Good stuff man.

The more raids you do / Pokémon you catch the more good stuff you get. At one point it just happens. Believe me I've lost all my hope but last weekend I caught a shundo kyogre on first raid, remotely in my bed. 😂

After about 60 Mewtwo raids over the weekend, our entire raid group of 8+ people only got 1 shadow hundo and 2 purifiable shiny hundos. How do you as a single person have this luck? Congratulations my brother. I got Shiny Shadow Mewtwo on the third Raid. The best part during this event for me was that I got my first Galarian Bird (Moltress) early Saturday morning before Shadow Mewtwo's appeared as a bonus legendary. Catching my Dark Moltress turned out to be my good luck charm for getting Shiny Shadow Mewtwo.
Spent 13 hours raiding this weekend and only found 19 raids and failed to find enough people for 5-6 additional raids. Because i spent Sunday driving instead of walking I managed three streaks of three raids in 30-40 minutes. Apart from that I averaged one raid an hour. Was ready to do so much more and in much less time. This event was not walkable. Pokemon Drive was the only way to do this. Guess I'm gonna get started on a third account.
Yea, I spent like $80 or more driving around. It would be nice to be able to do the raid you're at several times once you find a group of people before you're forced to drive somewhere else. This much driving and looking at campfire isn't safe.

I caught 29 mewtwos. Only 6 were even 3* and only two were above 90% (93% both). I dont get the luck you have! Wonder if Niantic can tweak the chances for specific influencers to increase the chance of their audience desiring to go out and drop some cash.

(Trust me im not the only one). But is what it is i suppose but kinda strange I've seen numerous 'popular' pogo content creators over this weekend get extremely lucky with shinies and shadow hundos. I caught a shadow shundo beldum a few months back. I was incredibly stoked. IMO the rarest most valuable Pokemon in the game (at the time - now usurped by Mewtwo). Then to my horror, I accidentally purified it. No joke. I tapped the wrong button while powering up, TM'ing away Frustration, and I didn't notice that I had hit "Purify" before cancelling the confirmation. The second I saw the purification animation I IMMEDIATELY force closed my app. I then went into airplane mode. Hoping beyond hope that my stupidity hadn't made it to the servers. I waited 5 minutes. I opened the app. Purified. Ruined. Absolutely ruined. I messaged Niantic support. I messaged community leaders on Twitter. "Nothing they can do." The lack of an Undo button is just atrocious. Don't make my mistake. Be very very careful with that Pokemon on your screen! Congrats!

Btw…. Niantic… in-person raids are just as non-social as remote. We did in-person for mewtwo and by ‘in-person’ I mean we drove, in our car to a spot then drove to another spot and maybe waved once or twice to new people. We didn’t get to ‘explore’ we didn’t ‘make new friends’ we didn’t get any steps. I feel like it was just a waste of gas money.

That sucks. I did 33 raids and ended up with 7 3* and 4 shiny. 5 of my 3* had 15 attack. 1 out of every 3 raids I completed were 3* or shiny. None of my shinies were any good though.

Could niantic be giving these to content creators so people spend money on events..why did they double the amount of remote raid pases,..idk, look into it, or dont, im outtt.....the big pogo youtubers stay getting the goods

I live in a town with 50,000+ people, we only had 4 people doing raids…
Im convinced content creators are "gifted" these "RNG roles" to help promote the game. 0/60 not even a shiny or 3* lmaoo
That sucks. I did 33 raids and ended up with 7 3* and 4 shiny. 5 of my 3* had 15 attack. 1 out of every 3 raids I completed were 3* or shiny. None of my shinies were any good though.
Today one of my friends encountered a shadow Hundo moltres, we knew because it was shadow and 2475 CP, sadly it fled.

Are you serious not even a purified capable 13/13/13??? Thats like 25% chance to get in 100 raids… i got like 5 shinies in 150 raids and 5 capable purified
