These make me happy. Also I love seeing the little quality-of-life upgrades you guys do to your studios, like the velcro on the wall for the remotes. That's smart.
Okay, so by pausing the video at 3:50, I've been able to take a good look at the google maps on the screen. Whilst it's mostly obscured, there's some vital infirmation that can give us a clue regarding Road Quest. So by looking at all the borders on each side of the screen, taking into account how far zoomed into the map Graham was, I've been able to deduce that.... Road Quest will be set primarily on land.
I just watched a video essay about bad editing and it makes me appreciate your editing skills even more. That is one of the best reasons to watch these Vods. Other than the awesome humans in them, I mean.
I know just what you mean about those "productive but doesn't feel like it " days. I always inevitably do a BUNCH of work, but it just doesn't feel like it. I've found going back over the day and thinking of each thing I did helps, or why I didn't get as much done as I'd wanted to. As always, this is vlog is a great one and I am SO excited for Road Quest.
My goodness you guys do so much I'm honestly curious about how you managed to get so much stuff done? Like who is responsible for what part and how is the workload scheduled?
Nice vlog! I had a lot of fun watching the Panalysts. With the LRR crew its a lot of bizarre fun. Just imagine what happens when u get some guests with the same kind of humor on that show, it'll be even more hilaridiculous!
I didn't know Graham was the guy behind the computer for North 100. I just always assume it's Paul, even when Paul is on screen. (He just uses his phone) hahaha
i love the shots you do like when you are walking into the moonbase where it looks like you are walking from room to room and the camera is just there waiting, i have no idea how you get those transitions so smooth and natural looking but they are well done
This was lovely to watch, it reminded me of the early PATV The Series where they could spend half an episode walking through the offices with some chill-hop tunes in the background.
I enjoy these glogs because I would love that you can walk around your hometown. I dreamt that my wife and I walked from where we live (Virginia, USA) to the Canadian border.
So, for the shots of you entering the moonbase and walking in, you first came in, put the camera down and turned on record, then went out and came in again. Same thing with the next three shots. They were a cool sequence, but as I watched it just hit me that you had to set it up.
He talks about this part of the process in one of the early vlogs that's either on this channel or inspired it to go separate from the main LRR one (sorry, not sure which). Definitely a trippy moment when you have that "Heeeeey wait a second..." realization.
I love all every Vlog G has ever done, they are so amazing and he takes such great care. So Like I want more, but I know they require so much effort for him to do with everything else they do. So maybe just a little more G?
Quite often I get days that I know I"m busy for the entirety of it, but ask me at the end of the day what I did, and I'll have to stop and think for the answer. Not sure if I like those days...
I really enjoyed watching this lol... i know ur schedule is packed (inherently) but it would be really awesome if you did more vlogs that were just of ur day (not that the vlogs at conventions are bad but these are good too)
The weather looks ridiculously nice, especially when I am stuck in the middle of the Australian Outback right now. Quick question G, how are you doing the time lapse segments? Every time I watch a GVLOG it really makes me want to give it a try
PLS upvote this guys! Graham, about RoadQuest! If you want to film one day in Australia, I can provide at least 1 cars (possibly 2), some bonkers pretty locations and a couple crew-hands for the trip all free of charge. I know Australia will probably be a while away for RoadQuest, but I reckon taking you Canadians out Back-o-Bourke would be hilarious.
7:05 I used to work in admin, and now work production for the same office. After I moved, I talk regularly with other coworkers that spent time in both admin and production. We all independently came to the same conclusion that admin work always has that somewhat empty "it doesn't feel like I got anything done today" feeling. Even though, when objectively compared to production, the admin desk does a BUS TON more work, but that feeling still lingers.
Please tell me the mean thing said to James on UA-cam was when I said he seemed like more of a Mishra than an Urza on one of the Wizards lore videos. It was a compliment! Love any and all behind the scenes we get at LRR, including the vlog G!
The music was kinda low key, making the whole video seem chill and relaxed, and with Graham's natural low voice, he comes across as sad. If you compare this to one of his PAX or GP vlogs with faster, more upbeat music. Graham sounds a lot more energetic and excited (even using the exact same cadence and voice). Just goes to show how important sound design is, even in a "silly little vlog" like this. And Graham is VERY good at sound design. In fact, I learned most of what I know about soundscapes and music choice affecting the mood of the piece from listening to the LRRcast backlog and hearing how Graham and crew evolved their technique over the years. I love this kind of stuff, and I want you to know I appreciate the effort you put in that most people don't notice.
These make me happy. Also I love seeing the little quality-of-life upgrades you guys do to your studios, like the velcro on the wall for the remotes. That's smart.
It's hella spring? It's time to suck it up, chungus!
Fill your eyes with that sick vlogging content! IT'S THE SHIT.

Road Quest will be set primarily on land.
Well of course! Otherwise it'd be Sea Quest or Galaxy Quest. :P
Not only on land, but ALSO... that map is of Victoria.
Graham Stark just as a warning we have also been able to deduce it will very likely be mostly in Canada.
You are genius
god it always blows my mind at how much work you guys do in a single day, much less a week there. ya'll kick ass
I just watched a video essay about bad editing and it makes me appreciate your editing skills even more. That is one of the best reasons to watch these Vods. Other than the awesome humans in them, I mean.
Hiramas Source?
It has seriously ruined me on watching other vlogs. Especially the Japan and Australia ones, all the other travel vlogs feel crappy.
i took would like to see that essay xD

nosolemoo I have those days all the time too
My goodness you guys do so much I'm honestly curious about how you managed to get so much stuff done? Like who is responsible for what part and how is the workload scheduled?

Also at 8:20
This is a weird UA-cam account but I love and appreciate it nonetheless
Nice vlog! I had a lot of fun watching the Panalysts. With the LRR crew its a lot of bizarre fun. Just imagine what happens when u get some guests with the same kind of humor on that show, it'll be even more hilaridiculous!
I always enjoy hearing you talk about the tech your using.
Really loving these vlogs!
I love your vlogs and always look forward to them. They're very peaceful and comforting.
I didn't know Graham was the guy behind the computer for North 100. I just always assume it's Paul, even when Paul is on screen. (He just uses his phone) hahaha
Do you listen to North 100? Graham occasionally pipes up or asks for clarifications.
I don't listen to it.
To be fair, I am also mostly interested in the frosting. Happy to see a vlog! You are very very good at making these
I am in awe of your skills with video. Keep up the good work and enjoy these nice spring days around the Salish Sea.
I hope to see you and Paul on a Road Quest so you can finally say you accomplished the original goal of LRR.
i love the shots you do like when you are walking into the moonbase where it looks like you are walking from room to room and the camera is just there waiting, i have no idea how you get those transitions so smooth and natural looking but they are well done

You have so many leaves on trees. Here in Detroit about half only have buds and some flowers...the rest still look like it is winter.
Here in the Midwest it still sometimes *feels* like winter.
This was lovely to watch on my walk home from school
A 100 Graham counterweight? How do you hold it up?

Yay, I see my wife and my name on the test strip! XD We're at the bottom of the old one, so we never get on screen when panning over it :P
I love all every Vlog G has ever done, they are so amazing and he takes such great care. So Like I want more, but I know they require so much effort for him to do with everything else they do. So maybe just a little more G?
Wow, you recorded an entire vlog on my birthday? I’m honored!
That was ten minutes of my life well spent
Great vlog Graham, love these... wish we got more buuuut I'm thankful for what we get! Nice insight
Quite often I get days that I know I"m busy for the entirety of it, but ask me at the end of the day what I did, and I'll have to stop and think for the answer. Not sure if I like those days...
That was a really nice vlog.

Yay for random G-Vlog! :D
quick! someone slow down the footage so we can read graham's lips about road quest!
Please do more vlogging, you're very good at them, and they distract me from my otherwise boring life.
an 100 graham weight?!!?! Just had to go look up the artist because it sounded like an Alan Watts clip and he is fantastic
"No-one is allowed to know about it. Including you."
Cut to hundreds of information starved fans slowing down the video to try and read Graham's lips.
Please... Please... Someone slow down Graham's talky bit on RoadQuest and then do a Bad Lip Reading video of it. :-D
The weather looks ridiculously nice, especially when I am stuck in the middle of the Australian Outback right now.
Quick question G, how are you doing the time lapse segments? Every time I watch a GVLOG it really makes me want to give it a try
I had been wondering about the additional name wall for a while
Yooo deskfern does great job with his music do you ask for perm to use it or is it all just free to grab?
Pandemic legacy board for planning Road quest? I sense a crossover...
7:14 Those people were super judging your vlog lifestyle :P
Anyone going to gp Minneapolis, it's finally in mn
Anyone know the specific song used? I have gone through the deskfern SoundCloud a little but can’t seem to find it
Prickly pear fruit is actually pretty sweet in general
I live in Tucson and was planning on sending some of this local treat...still probably will lol

All 10 days are one big trip, but who knows? Maybe we go to Australia one day.
100 graham weight, sounds like theres a joke in there.
I see my name on the wall test strip!
LensFlare!
I don't really know the laws of using music from SoundCloud artists, do you have to contact them in order to ask about using their music on UA-cam?
In this case, he contacted me and offered!
Otherwise it’ll depend on their license.
Thanks for the fast answer.
Sudden urge to buy a Mazda...
2:20 Yay I'm on TV
slowing down the video and reading lips doesn't help cracking the "Road Trip" secrets... FYI
those people who looked at you like they wanted to kill you

Is it me or is the music way too loud - i constantly need to switch volumes
I think it's just you... seemed alright to me on 'normal' speakers.
How much does 100 Grahams weigh?
At least 10 000 ducks, I imagine.
Please tell me the mean thing said to James on UA-cam was when I said he seemed like more of a Mishra than an Urza on one of the Wizards lore videos. It was a compliment! Love any and all behind the scenes we get at LRR, including the vlog G!
+5 points for picking a track with Alan Watts.
Thank you, I was 90% sure that was his voice
Keith Pitts as a Game Grumps fan, I believe its clips from the game Everything
If so, *that* is Alan Watts. Trust me. I know the man's work. Or we can ask @deskfern. :)
It occurs to me that you guys are the internet's SCTV. The question is: Which one of you is the most Gerry Todd?
Ur babay looks liek Ed Sheeran
I saw my name in chat! I'm famous!
Can I have your autograph
Is it just me or does Graham sound sad?
I don't think so. I think he was just low key.
Not sad! Maybe tired :D
