Stormclaw Berserker - Torchlight 2

A showcase of my Elite Stormclaw Berserker build running Tarroch's Tomb.
This berserker build takes advantage of lifesteal/health-gating tactics to make auto-attacking viable for Tarroch's Tomb.
Care was taken to ensure that we had 100% knock-back resist and 100% slow and immobile resist, so that we could still use our short-range claws no matter the enemy.
The Iceshard Dominators are the perfect weapons for this build as they are not only the fastest attacking weapon (triggers lifesteal/stormclaw/shred armor), they also have the highest DPS of any weapon in the game (when executing).

I've never played with mods, so I can't give you a good answer on that one, sorry.
The most important thing for this build is the 20% health steal, and having enough damage to refill the health bar every hit. If you can still do that in synergies or other mods, then the build should work, provided that monster damage isn't high enough to one-shot you.

str cap @1000 does adding more str do much more dmg?

Hi, so there is no str cap.
Crit Damage from stats caps out at 999 str though, if that's what you mean? Str also improves all weapon damage, so while boosting str past 999 won't affect crit damage, it will still increase weapon damage.

Crit dmg from str caps at 1000 not str itself you will still get the raw base dmg for your weapons.

I put 148 points into focus (for 35% execute chance), and the rest into strength.

Yes, it's vanilla. I haven't used any mods.

You could run this build on HCE to the end of NG+2.
If you wanted to go past that, you'd need more health. Switching out the Chaos Embers with 4 x Skulls of Riechlu will give you over 26k hp, which should be enough to avoid getting one-shot.
You'd put 15 points into Battle Standard instead of Rage Retaliation also, for the Knock Back Resistance. With those changes, the build should take you through to the end of NG+5.
It would be ALOT of farming, though, for all the gear on Hardcore.

I show the stats at the start of the video. 148 focus and the rest in strength.
I have 148 points in focus just to hit the execute cap of 100% (35% from focus, 35% from gear, 30% from the Executioner passive).
All other points should go into strength, as str improves all weapon damage, including physical weapon damage, whereas focus only improves elemental weapon damage.
