- On Thursday, January 6 at 4:49 p.m. EST, Falcon 9 launched 49 Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This was the fourth launch and landing of this Falcon 9 first stage booster, which previously launched GPS III-4, GPS III-5, and Inspiration4.

Crazy that now I just expect the landing to go off without a hitch! Awesome work SpaceX
And that's the beauty of SpaceX launches. They're pretty much always perfect. Anything less than that is a surprise.
Can't wait to see the Falcon Heavy launches this year!!!
Well except for the one that got messed up because of the bad weather but that's not their fault, thing still touched down and survived, incredibly reliable vehicle
This literally never gets old! Congratulations SpaceX!
in a literal sense nothing is old and nothing is new as matter cannot be created nor destroyed but only change from one form to another

'literally'
Why are you being so selfish?Astronomers warn about this being the death of the science because of the light pollution. Same goes for stargazers and amateurs. Still they are being ignored by most of the media and NASA and ESA, which is very interesting. I agree, the satellites pass right over my house and have ruined my stargazing. It seems like most people think the advantages outweigh The tragedy of what we lose. I don’t understand why though.

Super
watch the reentry camera at 21m46s. did you see it?
The entire SpaceX launch sequence and landing on the drone ship to reuse the booster is just amazing.

It could be Amazing because it might just be Alien intervention. Which could explain why technology has increased more in the last 100 years, than in all of modern human history.

You can see UFO at 20:20 minutes on the left of camera ,👍🏻. And other fast white object fliyng
First stage landing itself never gets old
I love how consistent you guys are these days with your first stage landings. Can't wait to see what Space X achieves this year, especially with Starship!

20:33 on the left screen at the bottom left a large circular shape appears before the feed switches. It happens quickly so you’ll need to slow down the play back.
A f*cking PORTAL opened and they cut to a different shot right after.

@@SANTIAGOVEGA22 when?
lo he visto. Y pienso que los fans de spacex son pagos. porque no puede ser que nadie comente. Es un anillo portal. Si prestas atencion se ven nuchos ovnis debajo del booster
As soon as it came into view they switched the screen. Come on.
Always happy to see Jessie on the webcast
Definitely one of the most stunning weather-wise views of a launch ever! Well done, SpaceX//
And landing!
This was my first time watching a live rocket launch. What a success so far, the engineering challenges faced when taking on these complex procedures must be very intense and I can imagine why they celebrate at each successful stage.
There are a lot more to come '22 including up to 4 Falcon Heavy launches
same for me, it was amazing!
Felicidades!! Desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Yo hace tiempo que soy seguidor de Spacex y Elon Musk y la verdad hay sido increíble!!
Hi
Welcome to the club Johannes...you may have missed 100 spectacular SpaceX landings of an orbital class booster but it will never be too late to join in & marvel at the penultimate of the crazycoolsh*t that exceptional humans can achieve...so stoked your here with us watching in awe :)
101 successful first stage recoveries... Amazing. Never gets old.
Jessie is the best! Thank you Jessie! :)
Never not incredible to see a booster land.
@gelas lawas Whats the point of this video lol
@@FreezeMaster5 maybe to keep interest in space, more potential tourism hype, or just to expand the minds of young young people. Or to show off maybe
@@FreezeMaster5 IDK but you dont have to click it.. Lol
Really is insane how they land like that.
Yeah, it'd be even better if they had a recording of it they could show as instant replay once it's done rather than have the garbled live thing.
What the heck was the big ring thing floating up from under Stage 1 at T+5min12sec? @20:31 Never seen one of those before. Did something fall off the ship?
They cut away from it pretty quickly, and only cut back once it was off screen.
Wondering the same thing. There's a little dot drifting by just before it too. Not sure if that's just debris or not.
I saw the dot at about 22.00 appearing below the booster just before re entry then scoots to top of screen. About 1 second. Thought it might be debris.
Some people are saying the dots are ice particles, but nobody's explained the ring.
@@smitty864 Yeah looked at that also. Thought it odd when the ring appeared they cut the feed for a short time. :)
Indeed it's a UFO
Jesse - The best commentator for SpaceX…
What is that cloud circle at 20:31 ? (Bottom left) Incredible light conditions 👌
That wasn't a cloud. Interesting how they cut away to a different camera just long enough for that thing to disappear out of frame. Same BS NASA has always pulled.
:/ definetely a light ship! They’re trying to show themselves to us but these companies want us in the dark sadly :/ but we can still communicate with them💖😌
Can we get a rational hanswer to that question ? And not some crazy ufo theorys ? 🙏🏻 thanks
@@Lhenndyn If you think UFOs are "crazy", you haven't been paying attention. Even the current sitting DNI (official in charge of all US intelligence services), Avril Haines, admitted they're considering ET as a possible explanation for some of the craft they've been seeing. She did so publicly. The DoD is also being ordered by Congress to investigate UFOs and share information publicly.
For your own benefit, stop just writing the subject off. Not a single government on earth thinks this is all a joke.

Have you ever took the time and realized the amazing feat that is going from takeoff to second stage landing in just under 10 minutes? 🤯
*tooken
Actually it is the booster or first stage that lands just under 10 minutes after liftoff.
@@KnightRanger38 Sorry, You're right, my mistake 😊
@@KnightRanger38 just wait till Starship second stage really is landing.
There must be millions of these starlink satellites, they never seem to stop sending them up. I wish you would give the boosters names, these girls deserve it with 101 recoveries
They have booster numbers
@@ClearVod Names are better and carry emotion. Numbers suck
if yo9u think him taking over twitter was for socia media? then you are stupid AF- hes part of the club and needed a fan based to roll out CBDC and with the starlink its going to link the entire plaet to FEDNOW like china

Lol UFO at 20.43 on the booster cam? Great launch again Space X. It just never gets old.
Got Starlink late last Year and it’s one of the generational improvements to society they’ll talk about in 100 Years. Each launch of new satellites just makes it better. Thank you.
In the future, we also get 4k live from the rocket through Star Link
What a time to be alive
The landing of the 1st stage on a drone ship never gets old. Absolute MAGIC! Well done to SpaceX Engineers.
I saw the train from this launch tonight. Took my breath away. THANK YOU ELON.
Thank you for broadcasting your launches. This will never get old. It makes me happy to see real progress in space exploration.
Watching these launches and landings never gets old. Glad to be tuning in via Starlink 💫 Keep shooting for the stars SpaceX!
This never gets boring! Amazing work!!
Beautiful launch. And I like her comment. Very pleasant.
That crackling sound at 38 seconds....
I want to hear that in person!!!
Watching via Starlink Amazing Thank you every one at SpaceX
I love Jessie, she's such a talented cutie 🥰😊🥰
Can not get enough of this company. Just inspiring!
The music, the space ships, the ocean ships, the hosts, the cameras, the stream operators, the launch crew, the ground crew, the engineering teams, the production teams, the relaunch teams, everyone else that I can and can't see. This is so professional and satisfying to watch. Well done 👍🏻
Great launch!
20:32 - 20:33 on the left, I love how the alien ship warps in and they switch to another feed.. uh huh..
Just got my Starlink setup last week. Smoking fast internet. I'm stoked.
The landing, man! that is out of this world! spacex well done
Go Spacex and go Alexandra! Great launch and great coverage.
Nice 1st launch of the year! It nearly flew over my house in Merritt Island.
I can watch rocket launches and landings over and over and it never gets boring. 😍
it's amazing how now seens so commom for them to land a booster. You can hear a couple of cheers and...thats it
incredible
Glad I caught it live, saw it in my recommendations at T-2 minutes :)
Gorgeous camera work! And an excellent launch o/c.
First Stage landing itself never gets old
Congratulations 🎉
Starting count down from 5! Sounds so normal like an airplane flight. Awesome progress!
UFO at 20:31
Awesome job Jessy, awesome job SpaceX!
Never gets old. 2022 strong
This became so commonplace I rarely watch it live nowadays. Great way to start the year with another successful launch and the best engineer webcaster.
00:20:30 That cut 👌
when i started sailing 6 years ago, i wondered how id get good internet connection out in an ocean, the sat tech at the time was prohibitivly expensive. Gd job spacex, and thank you.
Space is new playground for Space X toys, what amazing a team effort over the years. Congratulations. ..
Congrats SpaceX all of u there guys and Mr Ellon . That boosters are really amazing to see how it lands perfectly so cool!
So amazing to be looking at 39a and the huge tower that SpaceX has the honor to use the remnant of such a large and historic structure. Even more amazing is that SpaceX has built a much larger and more capable tower and it won’t be the last.
It is great that they are adding honorably to that history.
Thanks for sharing.🚀🚀🚀
Well done SpaceX. Thank you for continuing to broadcast these missions for us to enjoy!
Never ceases to amaze with the landing
Flawless launch SpaceX..
I like how this booster carried Inspration 4.
Great start to the year
Congratulations SpaceX! You keep moving the goalposts and raising the bar. Launch and booster landings are like clockwork now. Is that the new orbital launch tower in the background at 7:27?
best landing ever seen
You are doing amazing things SpaceX team, your achievements, with no doubt, will go down in history :)
Congratulations SpaceX! Lifting off and landing booster are incredibly marvellous! Keep going forward.
The recent JWST launch media/ video coverage pales in comparison to an "ordinary" starlink launch! Impressive, SpaceX! 👏
No
Great to watch. Thanks very much
Starlink contacted me yesterday letting me know my kit was ready to ship!! Woot Woot!
Awesome job SpaceX! Did anyone see the round ring off the the left, bottom of the screen when the 1stage booster was making it's landing approach, pre final landing burns? They cut over to a top of the booster after it was on view!??
What the heck was that, 20:30-20:33 . . . like a ring of vapor miles away rapidly forming itself in a parabolic arc before they cut away to different view!
Go starlink 👍💯.
I love that we get to hear the booster sound this time, it makes it feel like I’m at the launchpad!
Those landings never get old.
portal opening at 20.31 on booster cam :)
Celestial smoke ring? T+00:05:11
LMAO
What the heck was that? Notice they cut away as soon as whatever it was came into view......
It literally makes me sick to think that we would ever give up on this historically successful launcher. Starship is likely to become great in its mission, but in near Earth launches, especially with crew, this launcher should never be given up on!!!
Agreed. F9 fits medium lift capability & it will never retire i think also.
As long as it is economically viable, it will keep flying. Nothing to touch it at the moment but when Starship is reliable, there's no cheaper option as it is fully reuseable.
This was my first in person rocket launch. Absolutely incredible experience, the flames are soooooooooo much brighter in person and the sounds are AMAZING. Anyone reading this, get out there are see a launch in person, you won’t regret it!!!!!!
Watching lift off and then the booster rockets landing is always fascinating !
With my expected 'coverage date' of January 2022 (THIS MONTH!), every satellite deployment just stokes my anticipation!
You'll love it. Got mine for Christmas. Total game changer for rural customers.
Happy new year, everyone!
Legendary. Got no more words for it.
Jessie is an absolute asset to SpaceX broadcasting and she can professionally hold it on her own without any co broadcasters! Well done on an excellent presentation.
UFO spotted @ 20:31 ?
On the left side, what is that thing?
I think ice formed on the edge of the RCS truster cone after it fired, then it got shaken loose by other thruster firings. Or maybe it is ice that formed around the connection where the rocket gets fueled up.
🙌🏾
Great footage, thank you.
Great launch, and great broadcast Jessie!
Is it just me or the landing just keeps getting smoother?
Woww
SpaceX sempre a melhor 👏
Congrats to all who worked on this and other projects; you inspire!
I never would've guessed to see such a spectacle become almost routine when I thought of this stuff as a kid. It's actually amazing 👏
I am both amazed and wonder why it took so long after watching the Apollo missions as a kid.
Красавцы!
Поздравляю с успешным запуском Falcon 9. Поздравляю с России👋
Почему вы поздравляете Россию?
Let's also appreciate the camera team for such clear and beautiful video. #congrats Team space X.🚀
Thank you Jesse!
not sure why they dont have cameras set a bit further from the landing site so the landing interference doesnt cause the video signal to get distorted. This happens with almost every landing. Would be great for PR if they could come up with a solution like remote cameras or drone footage.
I think I saw a few positions open for this role... I wonder if the guy doing it was a little incompetent.
Their drone landings can be wayyy out in the ocean so the extra costs to provide more coverage can be infeasible at that point
Moving the camera doesn't solve the problem which is the uplink.
One of their early drone ship landings was filmed from a plane, I think the problem is safety. That thing goes off course you don't want to be too close to it.
they did have additional boats and helicopters for their early landings, but they pretty much have so many launches (and so many successful landings now) that they don't really care too much about it anymore. Not sure where exactly I heard this, but I feel like a interview/podcast with Musk
Congratulations to everyone at SpaceX
Amazing, like always. Thanks for always sharing this incredible deployment of engineering
amazing progress!
At 12:00, as the TE retracts, it looks like the rocket is swaying slightly. Never seen that before
Look at faring deploy. It didn’t look like both fairings detached. And you could only see one falling off in the background
They didn’t show payload deployment.
Hey Mike, I thought that wobble was in the transport erector assembly and wondered how heavy it was. I just watched it again and still pretty sure it was the erector. Cheers from Canada. (Great job Jessica)
@@dansbrown1313 Hey, I agree that the TE is also wobbling but I'm sure I can see some movement in the vehicle itself. If you look at the top right of the rocket along the curve of the fairing , about halfway between the sea and the fence, there is a small white object behind the rocket and between 12:00 & 12:20 more and then less of it can be seen as the rocket sways
@@trapperjohn6089 Hey, they explained why they didn't show deployment and that is because due to the inclination of the orbit that they put the rocket into they did not have ground station coverage which means there was no live view. Elon Musk posted a picture of the deployment on twitter. :)
because they cut the transmission of the ufo that goes out to the left
