Funny enough, i put fresh pads on my car few months ago and within two weeks a had a squeal. My squeal occurred when I was driving low speeds or turning right and wasn't present when braking. I had overhauled my calipers the last change as well but didnt replace the sliding plates you cleaned in the vid. I bought a kit off ebay for my calipers and re-did the entire thing, reused the same pads and my noise was gone. Just posted this so people could see that even though mine didn't occur while actively braking, it stemmed from the same issue.
Seems intuitive you don’t want ANY grease to get on the rotors, but you seemed to apply very liberally, and touch a lot offer greased up. Were you just being more careful than it looked, or is it not that big a deal to get a tiny bit on the rotors?
Did the rear brakes with new pads, rotors and brake sensor with OEM dealer parts. I get the squalling noise when the rotors are cold and light pressure on the brakes under 5mph. Once the rotors warm up it goes away. I even put Brake paste behind the pads and ears. The shim is revit onto the pads from factory. I can't figure it out. The front been replace with pads, rotors, sensor all OEM dealer parts back in 2023 of August and did not make any noises.
I have a squeezing noise coming from my breaks not sure if it the front or back but it just started about a week ago so changed the back breaks and discs and then problem went away, but the noise has come back but it squeaks when I’m driving but once I break it stops then comes back on when driving
looks like I have the same problem with my Rav 4. The rear rotors and pads were replaced half a year ago. and no idea where squealing noise is from. front or rear? @@Muxik4k

I gotta redo them for the 3rd time i really hope is that bro :(
Thanks for the tips, now I know why my brakes are squealing.

If you just remove the pads and put a small chamfer on leading and trailing edge of each pad it stops brake squeel and chatter.

I compare the part numbers. The dealer revised the parts with new part number. Now I’m leaning towards material they are using from the factory.
Just subbed thank you for everything in this video!
Thanks for the sub!
I’m getting a squeak only when I’m not pushing on the brake. Brand new pads and rotors. 🤷♂️
Check the clearance they have, they may not be set properly and are applying constant pressure. In my opinion this is waaaaay worse.

No brake cleaner, no threadlocker, b4 u regrease just clean it first the caliper pin
I would suggest avoiding touching your brake pad friction surface with greasy, dirty fingers as well.
he is total noob!
what about squealing when you brake when going backwards? I feel something funny or noise while pressing the brake, only backwards or reverse driving.
most likely it’s just the pads needing replaced and it’s hitting the metal indicators at that angle first.
@@FinallyHeSleepsFC Only when the motor is cold, after driving for a bit this issue is gone. Any advice?

Hell yeah thank you
Bro called a rotor a drum. Note: If you don't drive the vehicle, the salt on the roads is not an issue...

I tried a blast of meth for the very first time watching this!❤
You're gonna meth up your brakes if you keep on.
