Timing is everything with the fields. I got lucky this year and thru out the winter they stayed bare and we had plenty of rain to flatten the dirt clods and expose some of the marbles and things. Some years it never works out though.

A few farm fields in my area have buried wire connecting devices that make very high frequency sound to scare birds and animals from the crops

@@PaystreakSuperfreak yes I had a permission and I was talking to the home owner and he mentioned a huge section of the field with these wires and it was IMPOSSIBLE TO HUNT
