The fact that you’re even asking the question ensures you’ll get it right.

From someone whose father has just removed himself from my life, be there how she needs you. Tell her she’s strong, tell her you love her for who she is, whoever that might be. Don’t just say the words, mean them and act on them. Grow with her and you’ll get to know one of the most amazing people you’ll ever know in her ❤
Be strong, it’s tough but you have to choose to be what she needs, not what you think she wants xx keep asking the hard questions and do your best to honestly answer when she asks you and you’ll be great 🥰

This hit me hard. To see fathers talk about the love they have for their daughters and the women in their life is beautiful 🥹 thank you for sharing so we can see that there are good dads out there 🖤

There is no manual. But being present, open minded, listening, and laughing together. This is much more important than DNA.

Mine, didn’t fight for me…to my mother who is a narcissist. She always “won” if the debate had something to do with me. I overheard a screaming debate about my needing ointment to soothe my chicken pox when I was probably 7-8. He, was pleading with her to “let him” go out and purchase it……her word was final “NO!!!” I suppose the dynamic in their relationship was more important than my being comforted 💔😢. I was the scapegoat of the family from an early age 🙁 and he was always willing to sacrifice me.

Funny cause my dad is WAYYYY too defensive (angry) and that's what bothering me...My dad also doesn't know when to make jokes and it just makes me and my brother furious.

He’s probably hurting from earlier painful experiences that he doesn’t know how to process. Disarm him by saying I love you sincerely when he’s getting angry.

I have 2 beautiful girls ages 11 and 13. I have had them for 11 years now. And it is getting hard I dont know what they are going through. Have been having to be the referee between them. And my oldest says that I don't love her as much as the younger one. How do I prove to her that i love them the same? Mom isn't really in the picture. Only when she wants to be

Ask them, your presence is vital !! You are their first male encounter in life ! How you treat them and how you make them feel will determine their future relationships ! Wish you the best :) take care

Talk to her. What makes her think that you don't love her as much as you love the other one? Learn what love means or looks like to her. All the best.

I'll make this easy...pick the right male or female first that shates the same values. Having a child by mistake from there or without planning out that value system is nearly, if not fully, impossible to control the outcome. You can be a great parent all day, but if that partner isn't, you're going need Jesus and all his forces

Make sure your relationship with your parents is strong and work also and a place to stay if needed as long as you have a job, a home, and support system you can't go wrong. I have full custody of my daughter for 8 years

why do i feel it always goes back to religion? im a dad soon to be but im sorry i cant get behind jesus bein the savior, i truely feel like i can raise my daughter to be a loving respecful woman without religion then if she chooses to pursue religion on her own then i dont care, i wont disown her for different beliefs but i just want some advice not based around religious views. or maybe i read this video wrong, i just want something to help me give my baby girl advice when we are having rough times

They're obviously religious. As I've grown, I realized not to only judge people based on their beliefs but to take into consideration the intent behind their beliefs. Most people have good intent and mean no harm to others through it.

And to love is a “religious” principle in my faith as well as others so you are actually practicing a de-facto religious principle…so you see it’s not that bad. At least I feel that way via my faith. We are on the same page tho regarding love for our daughters. 👍
