Only a millennial would interview Carl fogarty amidst his private collection of bikes and talk about himself. . . . .
He always talks about himself and shows himself! Mans a knob!!
They sure are different 😂
So true 😄😄😄
Nice to see Foggy still enjoying life. Such great times seeing him win at Brands, Assen and the I.O.M. Thanks for the memories Carl.
Love Foggy. Used to love watching him race. What a hero and a lovely guy.
Totally agree 😍👍
Carl seems much more relaxed than days of old! What a legend!
Well done getting advice from a real motorcycle legend!
Seems like such a humble guy and still recommends smaller sensible bikes for a new rider it’s so pleasing to watch. Keep the bike videos coming.
Humble like ; make it expensive, make it fast ,and make it mine ! Super cool ! Thanks for sharing
Nothing humble about Foggy. Great rider but sure as hell not a nice guy (despite the kiss-arse 'bloody good bloke' remarks).
@@bm7760 You know him personally?
@@bm7760 don’t talk rubbish, I have mutual friends with Carl and he’s a gent.
By his own admission, a bad loser, and not much respect for others who have won the WSB super bike title.
Foggy is one hell of a nice a chap. You're a very lucky man Paul.
Hah, not so nice to back markers who he perceived as track fodder, watch the clip where he does the handlebar nudge but ends up on his arse as well, got the results though.
Always loved Foggy. Watching this makes me like him even more. Top chap!!!
Damn he's cool as hell, you need a whole series with him.
this is probably the best video you have done in a very long time. Nice one!
What an absolute gent and legend Mr Fogarty is! This video could of been 45 mins long to hear just a few of his stories. Bet he would be fantastic company over a pint in the pub!.... Once COVID passes of course !
Wow a totally different perspective of the man himself. Awesome episode, love the bike content. “I’m born on the first, I don’t lose”. 🙌🏽 - Carl fogarty this mans a champ
Foggy is just great, do more collabs with this legend.
Good grief! You're looking into bikes now. Such a big part of my life for so many decades. Enjoy and ride well! And you had Foggy on the channel! Bike royalty!
He,s my legend.Watched him many times at the WSBK Assen. Never forget him winning on the 9XX Ducs. respect
Foggy is an absolute legend and a national treasure.
Bro what a dream to hang with Carl and ride bikes with him! Wow that is incredible! Excited to come along with ya for your first bike....gotta be a Ducati. Get a monster 821 :)
I agree, love Ducati.
Cheers for the years of amazing memories Carl.
Carl Fogarty is the reason i got into Motorcycles and the love of Ducati! I worked with Ducati and motorcycles for over 15 years! I own a Monster S4R, 2000 996 & 2002 998! Destined to be classics!
Made my day when he autographed my 1100 monster. He even said “nice Ducati kid.” Carl, Jim Kirk and David Bowie, the holy trinity!
Foggy was an animal on the superbike , loved watching him race back it the day 👍
That man was my hero growing up, along with the others in the world superbikes at the time, in fact.... what a time for motorsport with both bikes, rally and f1!
I remember being devastated when foggy had his crash, just before my dad and uncle took me to Donnington for my birthday!!
Just back in from the garage, tinkering with the 996...and found this! What a joy, great vid - must now find the others. 👍
Massively enjoyed this. 2 wheels for life 🤙
As a young bloke I recall watching the battles between Fogarty and our boy Troy Corser. Great racing and as it turns out they are both great blokes.
I was at Phillip Island in ( 97 or 98 ) when Carl crashed at Southern Loop breaking his shoulder as I remember. Correct me if I am wrong! ( it was 2000 and that crash happened right in front of me and my old man ).
I still have my Corser poster of him wheel standing his 916 around Phillip Island hanging in the shed.
Thank you Carl for the years and years of top quality racing
Never did end up getting one of those Black 916 Senna's I dreamt about all those years 😔😂😂😂
I've never seen Carl Fogarty so chilled! mind you I think I would be with that collection. Super Bike Legend, saw him race at many UK circuits.
Man those are good looking bikes! I love the curved tubes. It must have been under a previous company owner, but I built flat track race wheels for team CCM at their shop in California back in the early oughts. I worked for Banke Performance at the time and drove to their shop in San Jose and built wheels in the sunshine all day. Good times.
This is a great ad for coffee ... the smile on Carl's face is the pinnacle of living!
Top bloke Foggy! How did you enjoy being in Lancashire, it’s not a bad part of the world is it?
A joy to watch. So so much better content than wrapping cars and having exhausts fitted.
Good old Foggy. I used to watch him race in the world superbikes. Great rider and a proper down to earth bloke. Cheers for the video. I’ll give the CCM website a look 👍
i used to have a ccm motocross about 35 years ago, nice to see them still going.
What a cool vid. A refreshing change from the normal stuff and a great scoop, fogy is a proper lege.
When of the best episodes! Love Foggy
What an absolutely superb upload!
Foggy is one of my all time heroes and your one lucky bloke to get an interview with him.
Foggy is a top man 👊🏼
I remember Ron Haslam getting pulled without a licence too on the road where he lived at Langley Mill, Derbyshire
I remember meeting him in 1996 in Essex. One of my friends was tipsy and called him Carly Barley. He just walked up to him, shook his hand and then chatted to him. Really cool guy
I remember in 2008 I took my young mate from work to the Senior TT.He had never been before so I knew he was in for an amazing experience. Before the big race there was a parade lap of historic bikes and riders. We were stood at St Ninian's Crossroads and a few bikes screamed past us and my mate was like ,"Whooooaaa!"Then suddenly Foggy flashed past on the Desmosedici literally front wheel about 3 feet off the ground at about 160mph and my mate was like"WHOOOOAAAA!!"That was his first taste of the madness at the TT!
Quite hard to come by the CRM I think and some second hand ones up for some silly money🤪. Thumping single🏍. Good to see you’ve made the transition to two wheels, so much more usable for a blast out on a Sunday, never stuck in traffic and bang for buck heads and shoulders above any car.
Great video 🙌🏼 loving these motorcycle vids man
Once stood next to him when ripping a crazy burn-out at the TT circuit of Assen. Back than you were ‘allowed’ to climb the fence and walk onto the track. One of my best childhood memories. In that same weekend Chili parked his bike against the fence, threw all his racing gear in the audience and drove to the pitlane in his boxers. Those were the days.
You have met another nice guy from the world of motorcycling. I’m glad you enjoyed your time with Carl. I’m now looking forward to see which bike you select.
ps. Small detail - You rode a trials bike with Dougie, not a trail bike. There’s an enormous difference between the two.
Like the look of those CCM’s. How can you not like Foggy....top man.
Can I just say the production quality has seen a massive jump. Proud of you Paul!
Absolutely loving the new path of your channel. It's a completely different vibe but I'm loving it!
Weirdly I think I saw Carl on his first bike at Aintree in 1975, where his father George was competing. I remember seeing this young kid riding around by himself among the fans on a small berm / hill where the spectators stood, behind the pit area. He seemed to have an uncanny knack of effortlessly riding without getting in anyone's way. 😁
World MotorBike Champion 😂
Superbike was the word you were looking for.
Cool vid, Foggy is a legend of the sport.
That would be a dream come true.... Getting to meet and ride with the man himself, lucky dude and thanks for the content!
such a lovely down to earth bloke. He's also so modest...got to love him 🙂
i remember when i first started riding as a 18 year old back in 1996, and foggy was everywhere, and a true inspiration. I know I could never ride anywhere near his level, or even half his level, but I hope he knows that he has inspired me to ride and many others :-)
Followed Foggy for years, great bloke and an awesome rider, never knew he didn’t have a road licence though!!!
I used to race motocross and one day was was practicing at Doncaster and he came with his mechanic. It was just me and him messing about all morning, great fun.
Really enjoyed this content! Good work looking forward to more of theses
Foggy was the guy that got Me hooked on bikes, Thanks Carl
SOL you should of made that video last to 9.16 mins.
I wished it had lasted longer, it seemed a very short video
To this day, whenever I see a clock showing 9:16.. I think ‘Ducati’ 😎 I had a 916 back in the early 00s.. wish I’d never sold it..
Awesome video! Loving this little series, but HOW can you not let us hear these amazing motorcycles? The sound really is important too as a viewer. I rather have the sound in a bad quality than just the music alone. Still a great video, good work man!
So jealous you got to have a cuppa with such a legend. Watching him as a kid is what got me into bikes. Definitely dropping a sub on this channel great content 👌
Passed your motorbike test at 28? I was 42 and my first bike was a Triumph Street Triple Rx 675, it's an incredibly capable bike, smooth, fast, easy to ride and comfortable. I then bought a CCM Spitfire Scrambler as a second bike with a totally different experience from the 600cc single. They're both polar opposites and offer a great range of riding experience. Enjoy your first bike whatever it ends up being, ride safe but most of all enjoy.
Totally agree, a CCM is a fun second bike for the right occasion
Foggy what a legend genuinely nice bloke best vid you've done in a long while
Great to see a home which Carl and his family have created. So many celebs get designers to fill their homes with superficial trash in a vain attempt to appear more than they are. Keeping it real Mr. Fogarty, respect legend. You and Colin Edwards are two guys who lit up the circuits with your personalities.
Paul, this is prime content. Thank you for sharing my friend. You have really upped your UA-cam game.
Such an awesome guy. My buddy had a bad accident on his bike ending up collecting a load of limited edition Ducati’s with his insurance pay off. Last thing I bought him before he died in the summer was a signed Foggy lid as he was his hero.
The one and only King Foggy. A total Legend that i watched on TV when i was a kid winning the famous TT race and more.
Carl just lives up the road from me, lovely house and what a car and bike collection!! Mega :).
Is it in Mellor or Billinge end road? Lovely house
From what I could see that house looked amazing.
This is amazing I love foggy and I love the black bike too
Top bloke and nice CCM ad. Now what bike would Foggy ACTUALLY recommend? Not sure it's a £12.5k designer bike that they're likely to drop on the floor at a set of traffic lights at some point. We've all done it!
I had a bit of a chuckle... with the helmet on he looks the most like foggy :) just tootling on a road bike but the eyes are piercing and aggressive ... legendary
Remember flying back from Dubai, Carl was on the flight with his family and a young fan recognised him and asked the stewardess if he could get his autograph, the stewardess asked Carl and he meet the young fan, posed for pictures with him and gave him his autograph. Top marks to Carl very approachable for the young fan who was made up.
Italy loves you. Thanks Foggy 💓💓
Saw that suggestion coming from a mile away, solid choice from Foggy. Most people'd go for something cheaper but this is a lottery winner's first bike. CCMs are just stunning
Seems like a genuine guy. I enjoyed the video and I know you did making it!
Pretty awesome to hang out with a legend like Foggy. Im extremely jealous.Well done mate✔
That would be a great bike for you, as a starter. But did you wind connect four
Enjoyed that video, foggy is a legend!
I am youtubing his races ,such a memory #90s
I’ve watched all his races back in the day. The best era in World super bikes in my eyes.
He was awsom to watch 🤘
When teaching guys to ride they would always ask what bike do I recommend. My recommendation to them was easy, a Suzuki Bandit 600. It was the complete package? As a first proper bike it ticked all the boxes. Great ride, looks good, four cylinder, great economy, benign handling, great costs. It was without equal.
Agreed, I learnt on a 600 fazer but I don’t think that’ll generate much views 😂
Foggy is such a class act!!! I'm originally from Blackburn, so probably a bit biased
Never had a super bike and never will, motocross was for me but now mountain biking is my budget but this man is one of my all time hero’s 👍👍👌😍
Shit.... 5.05 has just made my motocross years look dull🙄🙄
Carl’s brilliant.
Great video!!!
AWESOME BIKE ! LOVED SEEING FOGGY ,GREAT VIDEO
LOVE THE CCM LINE!!!
it was so much fun watching foggy race way back when. i hope you get a ccm or a trident 660. cheers from n.y.
7x Legend. Nice video Mate
Probably the best vid you've put out mate
Bikes have killed so many people but bikes have saved so many lives !!!!!! I only keep sane by riding my bike can't explain it have never tried to understand it but thank god I did it !!
My mates go to the gym I just ride inside that helmet I am at peace with myself and funny as it might sound with others "MY LITTLE WORLD" where i am who I want to be or at times
who I don't want to be I think its called freedom what ever freedom means..... To all...... ride fast...... ride slow..... but ride safe !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People like Fogarty piss me off with their
talent but he still loves what I love so that can not be toooo bad can it not ??????????????
Yesss more of this!! 2 wheels is the way!
Great vid and Foggy is just the best.
Awesome video, your best one yet, do more like that..
Nice to see Carl he looks happy nice vid by the way
go on with this series, i love it
Loving this series!
That photo of the Superbike wives on the wall is legendary!!!
You are really upping the ante with your channel. Awesome work...
Not many could outsmart Carl Fogarty on the track, an out and out and out natural racer the king of the dogfight who road with his heart!!
One of your best videos yet Paul loved it
What a legend 👍👍👍👍👍
I own a vintage Ducati 996 how amazing is it to hang out with a legend in super bike racing 😲👍
For someone so uninfluencial in the motorbike world, you really did a great job landing this interview.
He is an awesome guy. He didn't have the motorbike licence, but he won the world title..
Love this stuff mate.
