Ped, you’re a man after my own heart. The Delta Integrale has always been a car I’ve lusted after too...ever since the 90’s. Sadly Sega Rally is about as close as I’ve got to one. They are simply beautiful machines. Fantastic video!
This has to be the best video on UA-cam this year.. What a car!!! What a Machine!!! Everyone raving about how good the MK4 Focus RS, Golf GTi, Hyundai i30N hasn't driven anything like this before.. The noises, the visceral appeal, the way it makes you feel in the pit of your stomach.. THIS IS DRIVING..... Someone like MrJWW or Fezza has to keep this car on UA-cam.. From one Pete to another.. Get it on the channel....
I don’t know if you ever saw the Car SOS Intergrale episode? The chap who had the car done lived across the road from me. He passed away while it was in restoration. My point is all through that video you had a massive smile on your face and so did I. Not many things can do that especially in this dire time. If something has that effect and you have blood in your veins I say buy it while you can and can afford to.You can run it, have fun and sell it for at least the same or maybe more. It’s a win win. Oh and I’ve watched the video 2 times since because it was THAT damn good!
Wow brilliant video up therewith the Escort, great way to mark your well deserved landmark subscriber achievement. Congratulations and thanks for the great content.
What a great video Ped, the shape of the Delta Integrale is just spot on, a boxy body, flared arches, quad headlights, daft roof spoiler, just brilliant. For 32 grand, who cares if it isn't overflowing with motorsport history, it's amazing and usable.
Evening Pete, having started my mechanicing career working for a rally car company in the north west of England who had just finished racing the Lancia dalta and the 6r4 Metro and moving on to the group A serria cosworth. The Intergrale and 6r4 metros are 2 of my most iconic rally cars to say that I have worked on/with, if you can afford it and of corse Mrs Ped lets you, then buy it! even if it's only for a short period, you will still make your money back on it when the time comes to seel it to someone else.
Pete, I had one back in the day from Walkers Garage Northallerton. Red, on a K plate and it was the greatest ownership experience of my life, however, the left-hooker was a pig when the lag kicked in and if you ever had to leave a pay and display car park with a barrier you had to get out of the car. Never to be repeated. Cracking vid! That's an Evo I by the looks and at that price it's a total steal.
What a car, the presence on the road and the heritage, £32 is a bargain. Rally spec mud flaps a must. Looking forward in seeing more of the car on the channel 😉...
The steering is on the proper side of the car 😆! Those mirrors are crazy small. What a stunning car! These older rally speck cars are what dreams are made of Sir Pete! It sounds like a little monster!! Love it
Pete, great video as always! You know a car is special when it puts such a big smile on your face when you drive it. Absolutely love the Integrale. Kick myself for not buying one in the 90s, as the one I drove broke down on a test drive and that put pay to that with the Mrs!
Great video about the Lancia Delta Integrale. Old sport cars were probably more fun to drive than modern cars. A car is about sensations, not only about performance.
Buy... buy... buy... follow your ❤️... it’ll reward you with lots of smiles when you drive it. An iconic car in my eyes too... sadly I’m from another part of the world 🇲🇾 where import permit is not easily obtainable.
Was only thinking today about my youth when I lusted after cars like the Escort Cosworth. This reminds of those days when you genuinely wanted a car so much because how it makes you feel when you see it. This is a car that would never fail to make you smile and would give you so much pleasure. Do it mate, life’s way to short!
i bought a Lancia Delta Integrale (2020HotWheels by mattel version) for a $1.25Canadian only a week ago. Very Satisfied ! Would Recommend ! Cheers&Thanks for the excellent video .
Finally got chance to watch the video in full.... WOW! Brings back so many amazing memories from going around Gaydon with my friend in his Delta. I can tell just how much fun you were having as the teeth came out! lol!! You don't just want this Ped, you NEED this Ped!!!!! Just tell Mrs P it's a long term loaner! :D :D
Absolute legend is the Lancia and the good news is that Lancia following the FCA and PSA merger is being saved and not totally killed off. They say Lancia and Alfa Romeo and Ds will work closely together with rumours that the Giulia platform will be utilised.
What did you say Pete..!! Lol, I say just go ahead and buy it as you can tell you utterly enjoyed it and I say that's what a car should do, as others of said another cracking Video 👍😉
Oh that Kankkunen comment got me - we were over taken by Kankkunen in his works Lancia Delta 16v on the road section heading to Dalby as spectators on the RAC many years ago, probably 91 or 92 that was a special moment
😂 I love the facial turrets comment, as that is exactly what it was !!! How can you not buy it when you were grinning the whole time 👍🏻 I love the waste gate blow off sound it’s epic 👏🏻🍻🇨🇦
When I was growing Up and bought my fast car in the 80ies , it was either a Ford Sierra Cosworth , Audi Quattro , or a Mitsubishi Starion Turbo ,, I bought the Starion Turbo and chipped it to over 200 BHP ,, It maxed out at 150 mph and had the legs on a Cosworth ( of course on a close road race track)
Stories I could tell you in the days time I got pulled over by some guy in a Rattle BMW 325 on the M27 with a blue stripe down the side I had been maxed at the above speed and this guy guy make no impact on me I asked him why his car was making a rattle noise he said if your car had been flat at over 135 for 8 miles trying to catch you im sure your car would sound bad !!!
What a car and what a rally pedigree. Absolutely stunning car. Lancia and martini just go hand-in-hand. I get the same emotions when I see those cars and think back to that incredible era. On a side note Ped, what about that green Mercedes!!!! My goodness that is just jaw dropping.
This is the epitome of what driver enjoyment is all about. Love the car and the video... And your excitement. You only live once mate and maybe now is the time to move Ruby on to make way for this?
That is definitely an iconic machine as you say i remember lusting over one when i was a younger man . But a good old blast in it for old memories sake is fine great video nice to revive some old memories well done mate .🙂

I very much enjoyed watching you enjoy yourself so much, in a car from our era.
