Went to the bike shop.Tried the PX and the Primavera.The Primavera won.I now have this bike,same colour.Love it.

@@TedEhioghae I bought the one in this video and it definitly has ABS, I bought it in 2015 so maybe there are 2 different versions now.

I have always been a fan of Vespa's i would really like to own one sometime in the future.
You can get some canny Vespa PX125+cc preowned that cost a fraction of which it would for you to buy a new one. (I think LML have taken over production of the Vespa PX)

Great review. To the point and covered the essentials. Would love a new up to date review for the 2024 as it now has disc brakes etc. and possibly a comparison to some of the newer "retro" styled competition
Great review, except that no way does a stock 125 do 70 mph, unless it’s crouched down, down a steep hill, with a hurricane-force tailwind. I have one: it’s fairly nippy to 50, then eventually gets to 60.

Hi Imanoff, Yes, this review was in Brighton. I'm sorry we haven't reviewed the Sprint.
We received our brand new Vespa (Primavera 125cc) 8 October we did ride it for 5 days and got an electronic problem! Now already a month later still no Vespa waiting for a replacement part from Italy.
OK, no reactions from Vespa; I start to get angry and will tell it worldwide!

Love the bike.
Still some problems with the small black button for the lcd commuter...need to push it several times to commute between the different information...and some times it doesn't work.
But its a wonderful beautiful and stylish machine

What is a 125cc engine like riding 60mph for say 30mins constantly. Would this knacker the little engine or would it stand up to the test?
I've ridden mine on a 375 kilometer trip, going 3 to 4 hours without a break at average speeds of 60 -75 kilometres an hour and took it up to its top every now and then and it didn't complain. In fact it seems to get smoother at higher rpms.
There is a 150cc that has around the same fuel economy and more horsepower, maybe that is a smarter choice if you regularly will do 100kmph?

The 2019 Kymco Like 150 is almost identical even in paint and seat colour , additionally it has ABS front and back, two USB chargers, more storage underseat and half the price.
You don't seriously compare a Kymco with a vespa?...
I own a Kymco as well as Vespa GTS 300 super...and yes I was expressing an opinion.

If the tank capacity is 8 litres(1.75 Gal) and it does 110 mpg how is the range 374 Miles!!!!! Just asking for a friend ;-P

In the U.K., you can ride one for 2 years with a one day training course (CBT), and as long as you keep “L” plates on the front and rear.

It's a scooter. Vespa shares mechanics with Piaggio but with a "hard shell" making P a better buy for a lot less $$'s
A guy on a Vespa saying "nice bike" is like a guy wearing pink coming into a toilet while you're peeing and saying "nice underwear". Kinda uncomfortable.

Funny. But in the UK, there is an unspoken unity to those who choose to travel via motorized two-wheels, since they are a rarity on the roads. Hence a friendly nod or comment between them is commonplace. Having said that, there is a divide between riders of motorcycles and motorscooters that dates back to the sixties.

I much prefer maxi scooters, the tiny wheels on the Vespa are dangerous with all the potholes, virtually no storage, cam chain issues and all metal body rusts like mad, not for me…
Meanwhile in indonesia we tuned vespa from 150cc to 200cc+++

Tank holds ~2 gallons, so it's 232 miles per tank

vespas are not designed for the "vertically challenged." too damn big.

I never understood why they cost so much more.
Solid steel body, unlike most scooters which just have a metal frame and plastic body panels.
Also the Vespa name has a price. It is possible to get the same mechanical specs (same engine) for much less, like Piaggio Liberty.
Вот очертаниями Примавера эта весьма так ничо-симпапуля, но почему у них настолько сирый цветовой ряд нынче?! Что ни покрас, то прям такое впечатление, что это один из заведомого неходовых "колоров", только и предназначенный, что для продажи в страны третьего-четвёртого мира, типа нашей Рашки.
