Superb vid man! Keep it up. I think for the most part, the real deal for me in survival games is always the "rolling dice" experience, the moment you screw your own run, or it's just the game you are in. Second, has to be the level of inmersion of those type of games, in Project Zomboid for example, it's crazy the levels you can go deep with just a random character, you get a certain bond, you even clinge to them in a way, different from another character, etc. Now with the mods, you can expand that experience, adding sounds, scenarios and dream of what could be in the future for the game (nuclear winters, unforgiving npcs, more diseases, meta events) and all the posibilities that can happen inbetween just put a big smile in my face. The need to keep looking for the unknown, the dangerous, the decision making, the mood of the moment, even if you just found a piece of makeup and roleplay inside an already RPG as a clown and catch a cold because you are beating zombies with a giant piñata stick in the middle of a storm, because it's the ultimate mood of the character. It's beautiful, artsy and cinematographic. Sorry if I got to intense lol but I also love the deep deepy side of this experiences, not just pushing buttons or being gamey but also feeling the piece of media i'm having dissected in front of my eyes. Thank u very much cap. Much love and Greetings!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate such kind words 😭 I agree! Honestly you could think of it a lot like life in that sense. It can kinda just throw crazy stuff at you and you gotta roll with the punches. I think for me, I like anything that has a ton of interactivity even if it's not relevant to the gameplay at all, just being able to go up and interact with an object or do something immersive and cozy makes a huge difference to me. I'm gonna be sad when this Zomboid Character dies, I started this one a couple months ago and he's still going strong. I love hearing about people being passionate about stuff they care about and really get into things so I'm glad you were able to! Thanks so much for the comment I live for this kinda stuff.

There's always something about going from zero to god of the environment that will always drive me in; really feels like the human experience across our evolution.
plain and simple survival games have just the biggest fundamental piece a game has and its a 3 letter word "FUN". For whatever reason FUN just translated into Survival Games seamlessly.
Such a vibe. Super informative easy to digest and interesting.

IMO '7 Days to Die' is the best zombie/post apocalyptic Survival game I've ever played.

Outstanding point! That point where you go from surviving to mastering the environment that just clicks with the brain
HES BACK
HE LIVES. Busy week + writing block made brain go smooth but we here again lol

Absolutely! for whatever reason it just kinda works so well in that format
