02:50 I think this one might've actually been referring to Benny's secret passage in The Tops, and it was just mixed up with the Lucky 38. In Benny's room there's a normally locked elevator door that the player can't enter unless they use console commands, or kill Benny after meeting with him in the Presidential Suite. He's supposed to head to these tunnels so the game unlocks the door for him, but after he's dead it still stays unlocked. When you get down there, there's not much to see. However if you happen to save your game there and look at the name of the save file it says "Vault 21" so it's speculated it's cut content from that Vault.
Someone else commented this idea also, definitely seems like a feasible idea! I went poking around that area for this video and it's odd, bunch of identical hallways and a door that leads to Vault 21. Very neat idea!
Agreed I think it's a really cool idea. Obviously he's played for laughs in the game kinda but if that were to be true it would totally change how people look at his character.
the strange meat in mick and ralphs fridge is a world design error. The devs were putting down fridges while designing worldspaces, and they incidentally placed the ones from andale that spawn with strange meat in them
Might I add another secret: In the Ivanpah racing track, south of Primm and north of the Mojave Outpost, you can find an anthill in the midst of the area. At a certain point inside the anthil, you will find some corpses and one of these corpses, who is unnamed by the way, is carrying Sierra Madre chips. I don't know if this only happens with the Dead Money DLC installed but, either way, this would be the only npc with an item from a DLC that is in the Mojave, aside from the corpse found in the abandoned BOS bunker.
Thanks for the add! That's really awesome I didn't know that. The only one I knew about was the one in the BoS Bunker. I like things like that. Makes you really feel like it's a lived in world. Someone else found the old world casino and made it back.
The Lucky 38 underground passage, it may be a reference to Benny's cut and normally unaccessible underground tunnel (through the normally perma-locked lift), the Tops sub-basement that connects it to the bottom of Vault 21. So either mixing up Vault 21 with the Lucky 38, or going off by the idea that it may have been able to connect the Tops also to the Lucky 38 bottom, too, since the bottom of the Lucky 38 does contain a storage of Securitrons similar to the Fort that Benny may have wanted to get his hands on.
The developers already busted the Yes-Man theory. According to their comments, Yes-Man was going to reprogram himself so he could only obey the Courier, not become evil.
The southern passage one may very well refer to the subtle yet noticeable differences between the location in the base game with and without the DLC loaded, only a couple videos were made on this small difference.
the real issue with dream/coma theories is that theyre unfalsifiable. By the nature of any story, the idea that it was all 'a product of someones mind' is literally always true because someone DID think of it. The writers made all that shit up! Obviously you can then say that 'oh the actual story didnt happen and the courier is imagining it'. Its a theory that relies and a complete rejection of suspension of disbelief and anything whimsical/not strictly realistic and thats just not a fun way to engage with media.
In a meta sort of way yeah absolutely you're right! And it's definitely not impossible but I also don't think that's the way the writers intended for the story to be interpreted ya know? It is a fun, what if scenario though. I think the game Prey (2017) did this idea right. If you're not afraid of spoilers for that game definitely check out the ending! It's really neat
The Siege of Firebase Zulu was a cancelled mod in the Someguy2000 series of mods for New Vegas, most known for New Vegas Bounties. Someguy2000 would later rework some of his ideas for this in the epilogue to the series, The Better Angels. The joke mod is a parody of that.
I may have Mandela effect about Yahtzee memorial artifact, I swear I remember unmodded Yahtzee had it's own in door cell you can enter but I don't remember the loot
@@captainmeaty_png There might be nothing there tbh, I just have a memory of somehow entering Yahtzee memorial, like it has a trap door you can enter? Or the memorial was bigger and had front door. Either way would be interesting if you made a video about Mandela effect moments in Fallout franchise
That sounds like a really cool idea actually! If I can find enough stuff about it that would be neat. I read some stuff about people remembering a door in the H&H Tools Factory as well, maybe there's more stuff like that
Love this series. Analyzing the writing of some quests in this and other games could be an interesting topic. Like, looking if there is any interesting world building that people miss. Tho that would take a ton of gameplay time and research, so maybe not fun to make. :)
Of course! Thank you for being here for it! I hope it was an enjoyable one. I do wanna do more of these at some point but I gotta find a game that I think might be fun and not many other ones resonate with me as much as NV does
@@captainmeaty_png My brother actually made me believe in that! He told me "DONT KILL PETE, He is the key-character for the Remnants mission", and I was like, "WAIT REALLY? Mick and ralph also work with the omertas and considering the kind of people the omertas are and who they are allied with, i wouldn't put slavery out of the question.
honestly yeah that would make sense. If I remember correctly the Omertas buy weapons off them? But I wouldn't count slavery out of the question as well lol
Unfortunately there was a few entries I couldn't find any info on, my guess is because the person who made the iceberg made it up. I did the best I could but I couldn't find everything unfortunately :/ thankfully its only a few ones.

That's what I was thinking, it certainly fits the description of an underground passage. Seems pretty viable to me!

That's actually really cool! I didn't know that. I wish I had come across that when I was researching for this video :( lol.

I actually didn't think about that since I've just always got them loaded but that's a good point!
sad to see it end but excited to see what's next !
Hopefully it was a fun series! I'd definitely be down to do more stuff like this if you've got any ideas 😁
