- Today I take a look at the BMP-1 in World of Tanks Console (WoT Console) and go over the issue it has with it's ATGMs. In short, the missiles don't fly true to your aim. This results in many missiles missing their intended targets. Other than that, the BMP-1 is a solid light tank, it's got good speed and concealment. If you can work around the missile bug/issue, it's worth playing.

As of 09/08/22, the BMP-1s missile system has been fixed.
I have always found artillery accuracy is effected by if your on level ground or not.
in my experience the BMP-1 missiles only are broken when you upgrade them. I use the stock missiles and I have zero problem with them. When I fire with the stock missiles, they act totally fine, I believe it is the upgraded missiles that are broken and need fixed but, in the meantime, I recommend everyone at least try the stock missiles you should find the flight path works proper. BTW I'm basing this all on me playing my BMP-1 with stock missiles as of the previous day of this comment. Played it all day and even fired some ATGMs at sharp inclines on several maps with no issue.
Yep agreed. The standard missile plays fine, I have only had issues with the upgraded one also. Interesting watching Rikitikitave fire the missile from behind cover then pop out to lock it on target. Might have to give that a go.
Agree noticed that once I upgraded the missile launcher that every time I shoot it at even normal ground my missile would just blow up in front of my tank which annoyed me.
There's a lot kaput in the game like the lightsaber bar in the minimap the gun still getting up when you look at something. ETC...
Had that happen to me once. Had to take a screenshot. What is that?!
GGs. A hell of a weapon as a scout.. If nothing else, it'll make playing it when it's sorted, even more fun.

I gave up with the BMP cos I couldn't hit sh1t . It drove me nuts as I don't like camping and like to fight and get involved, which is pointless if I have to react and not spend 30 secs p1sarsing about trying to aim.

I can confirm your correct, I have only been using the missiles up close on a drive by type shot up close on the enemy. And I have a hard time recommending CW lights, because most heavies and medium go as fast as CW lights.
Yep, tried it and the atgms are totally useless...glad I've already gotten through the grind to the BMP 2 and 3

Just noticed double lasers at 2:19 - 2:21, one on target and another on the cliff side that the ATGM is following
Another point is the missiles tracks the lazer not the aim reticle

A small detail with the BMP-1 that I've noticed and find annoying is when you switch from your ATGM to your normal gun the reticle without you having moved your aim at all will slightly bump up upon switching from ATGM reticle to your main gun's reticle. I find that a little annoying due to the fact the reticle should bump down because the gun is lower then the ATGMs mount placement. I'm probably being picky but just small details like that annoy me because it shouldn't be the way it is. Should be the total opposite of what its doing
I've noticed the same.
Yesterday my BMP-1 missile flew straight through the ground, kept flying until it went out of maximum distance over 1km down into the terrain. Wonder if that's related to this issue

Basically don't fire the missile if pointing down a hill. Its is obvious bug as hull instead of turret is deciding fire angle. Knowing wg who knows when they fix it as they have premium t8 oni's to sell LOL

Finding new and amazing ways to piss off what players are left, why don't they just get everyone out in one hit, get the hacker guy that flooded the servers of Titanfall 2 with bots to do the same with WOT, I mean we part way there already aren't we..

wow, I havent played on console in years and this game looks like shit now
