- Today I take a look at the BMP-2 in World of Tanks Console (WoT Console). The BMP-2 is, in my opinion, the best light tank in the entire game. That is a strong claim and in this video I explain why and show you some truly superb game results.

Rikki, great vid and info share, mate, I lost my will to live playing the PT76 and had hoped the BMP1 would be worth the effort but have struggled with the grind, this vid shows the worth of the grind (and pain, lol)

Am annoyed by all the soft targets now available to hit with Atgms!
I was running around in the BMP-2 when Era 2 was full of FVs (pre German line). It was tough going and, thankfully, I'm now nearby at the end of going through the BMP-3 packages in Era 3.
Will have to revisit this. I somehow found a way to make the BMP-1 work for me but, as above, really struggled with the 2...
I saw this video today and got through BMP-1. I am happy to learn those tips and it improved my XP and silver.

I don't have a specific video but if you check the end of my 4 mark attempt livestream I respec my crew and you can see my setup in there.

PT-76 is garbage, but I genuinely enjoyed the BMP-1. Not going back now that I have the BMP-2, it’s a complete step up from the BMP-1. Better main gun for fighting other light tanks and getting into knife fights, and it has more and better missiles in the same era.
Same people give the bmp-1 hate but I thought it wasn’t to bad has a good reload and a 300dmg main gun got 9k damage in one game
Balance perfect, op broken tank along with era 2. Era 1 slightly broken with fv TD, but not as bad as spamming missiles era 2. Era 3 seems the most balanced until they bring out more tanks... That saying I sold my Sheridan and got one of these instead. If broken join them 😜
I'm grinding this tank right now, and I am enjoying it. Except when I make mistakes. The Leopards have made atgms even more viable as my WZ-122 has seen a recent increase it's m.o.e. percentage. Because of the increase in soft targets, do you see a day where War Gaming possibly making it impossible to shot gun with atgms? I.e. the vehicle must be completely stationary to fire an atgm.
There has been talk of a minimum travel distance before missiles arm but I am not sure of any changes right now.
Question: Did they change the missile animation, when I fire a missile I get about 1 second of smoke completely clouding my reticle. Then it slowly clears. I find it quite difficult to aim missiles with it.
I don't really play Cold War. I Free XP'd to this tank. It is nuts. Love it
