When you take a grant that requires you to build a specific room, it will highlight with a white border in the menu. Also you can turn off auto light placement in the foundation tab. Really enjoying the series so far, thanks!
You were complaining about the lists not being in alphabetical order. Most of the lists have multiple sorting options. Just click through them using the icon at the bottom left of the list.
The central building had the lights half installed when you dismantled the installed lights but didn't cancel the not-yet-installed lights, which were later installed. You never maually put lights in, leaving a large chunk of the building unlit. It's very considerate of you to create special spaces for people with light sensitivities.
Prison is looking good. 😁👍🏼 I’m pretty sure there is an option to turn off the auto light placement. Then you can always manually place them where you want. Also, doesn’t really matter, but I believe that if you “dismantle” and they start building new bulbs before the old ones are dismantled, it buys new ones. Then they sit in storage till you place more. Something I noticed on the other play through, when you get to door controls, I think they just have to touch the doors. It looks nice if you rotate them in line with the doors and place them “in the walls” so to speak. Keep up the good work. Just wanted to throw my suggestions out there. Especially the auto light thing since it’s frustrating you.😁
It's great that you're able to build a new, bigger prison. Here in the US we have a population of around 332 million people, but our prisons only have room for about 2 million. That's 330 million people burdened with responsibilities like going to work, paying bills, and deciding who to live with!
@@Redneck353Except for Island, which requires you to build docks and (I think) helipads for getting people and goods to your prison, the rest are just aesthetic.
Making the same early mistake as the previous prison. Having your cleaning cupboard in the centre of the cells will mean easy access to narcotics for prisoners. Expect lots of overdoses. Also the laundry will of course produce ropes for tunnelling and then they’ll dash for the fence and climb over. Those two rooms definitely need to be kept separate from prisoners.
How can you have a prison but no gangs ?!? That’s like having a hamburger without the burger ! Smh why is there no decent content creators for this game !?
Love that the prisoners just going around in the open with no fences around 😂
Hey now, there's fences around the entire perimeter 🤣🤣

You need a distance of 10 to stop things being thrown in!
Thanks for confirming. I guess we need to build another fence...
Contraband can be thrown 10 squares so a nine tile gap between two fences should be enough to stop contraband getting thrown in
10 squares??? That seems excessive 😂
@@JCTheBeard Slingshot launchers?
Should be 2 fences with an 8 square gap

...how have I owned this game for 9 years and not known this

I just got the game and I love that your series is in line with mine. Learned a lot from you! Keep her up
Turn off the auto light under Foundation!
What's funny is I knew that was a thing but never thought to toggle that. We'll do that next time!
You can sort the menus by alphabet. That little triangle on the left of the text search.
Excellent news, this will save me so much pain and suffering 😂
HE WAS A SAPPER! Engineers up!
Hi, nice vid, can you make the UI bigger next time so people on their phone see it better? Thanks ❤
They ruined the yard with their stupid update
It 10 spaces from the outside fence to prevent thing being thrown over
What are the "plot type" thing ? is it kinda way to select easy/normal/hard... etc?
That's for selecting alternative landscapes like the island type, or snow etc
so it's just esthetic basicaly?

I think solitary confinement shouldn't have lights, isn't the point of it to be sense deprivation?
Well, maybe if your goal is to make those guys absolutely miserable and not actually improve their mental state
Anyone else notice the inmate walking between the fences as we were in the design phase of the cellblock?
I sure didn't 😂
I think you should zone the outside grounds as forbidden for your inmates, as well as the offices in the administrative building.
Now that we have deployment, I think we can do that. We'll take a look in the next episode!
👍

44:00 solitary in the middlle?
In between the cleaning closet and the laundry? That might actually be funny, let's do that 😂
🦝!
So the raccoon is the prison counterpart to the frog, eh?
@@JCTheBeard of course! They're the cutest criminals. 🦝!
Use metal detectors
We'll be putting some in soon!
