I used Miraidon, just like you mentioned and i caught it in a Dive Ball but the Herba Mystica is different
I used the Miraidon one, but I weren't able to one hit him until my third try. Still got it easy thanks to you.
I use mew max def and max hp Bold nature with skill swap, nasty plot, iron defense , and stored power. tera is psychic

My Miraidon missed every single metal sound but Dondozo landed 2 crit earthquakes in a row

I can get the initial 3 metal sound, but once it puts the shield up and clears its status effects metal sound fails 100% of the time. I'm on my 6th attempt trying to kill this thing and it's the same every time.
@@MonStarGuy Status moves don't work on the raid boss once the shield is up, you can only use metal sound when there's no shield
Yeah and if you put him to sleep, he just wakes up during the turn’s end automatically every single time. So kiss that tactic good bye.
He did that to me too. He even used 3 moves in a row at the end and knocked me out. By the time I recovered, he released his energy. 😡

For the Sp At and Def that you're maxing out, I think it might only require 2 feathers after the 25 vitamins? Vitamins give 10 EVs, feathers give 1, so 25x10 + 2 = 252. You still just need 4 feathers for the remainder in HP. But agreed, super helpful to include for those who don't know!

Miraidon can also learn reflect for the chance you don't want to risk it with the intimidaters but that's also an extra round

Nice! This one makes it so quick to farm herba. RNG can bite, but I just run and try again, and it's still faster than previous 7* herba raids
Just finished it with a random Eelektross I had in my raid builds that I trained forever ago. Not optimized at all for this fight but still got the K.O. through some lucky crits and move choices from Dondozo. I'll put the build of what I would change for a better optimization.

* Gastro acid to remove ability right at the beginning, it'll persist through the whole raid even after it resets it's stats
* Sunny day to reduce it's wave crash power for better survivability (I originally had coil/bulk up to bring up my Def but it was slow to set up and Wave Crash hits really hard)
* Acid Spray to reduce it's special defense
* It's okay to die at some point, I just ensured I had a few acid sprays on it so I could come back swinging (just be smart about tera, if you notice you're going to die soon don't tera till you get back lol)
I only used this build because I was under the impression that Unaware meant the stat changes of the opposing pokemon and the negative effects on itself. . . Learned something new today lol
Nice build! Curious, why Gastro Acid if you dont have any stat boosting moves yourself? Not sure if Eelektross gets Electric Terrain but maybe swap Gatro Acid for Electric Terrain to prevent sleep

Just watched a video that says you can do it with 2 Metal Sounds and All Out cheer. I used Miraidon but with Metronome and Parabolic Charge only. Took about 7 minutes.
Huge thanks to you once again coming in clutch with genius builds! Funny enough, I forgot to set my Tera from Dragon to Electric BUT it protected me from excess damage against Earthquake so all is still well.
Love the Miraidon build! Took a few tries to get the right NPCs & Metal Sound connects. Had Gardevoir, Staraptor, and Clodsire for NPCs. Caught Mightiest Dondozo in a Dive Ball

Took a few tires with Miraidon, because even when I had full set up, Electro Drift was not getting a one shot.
Very confused on that, but worked in the end.
I used my old Miraidon that has Sp.Atk and HP vitamins because I didn't want to blow a whole load of berries/vits rebuilding it. Worked like a charm, Metal sound x3, charge and Parabolic charge.
Ran a Miraidon for a previous raid event, with 252 HP instead of DEF. Used your move set and Life Orb, with an Arcanine NPC. Worked perfectly still
Definitely will be a fun time farming herbs
i just solo'd Dondozo with Weezing. modest 252 SP.A, 252 Defense. clear smog, acid spray, will o wisp & sludge bomb w poison tera type, holding a shell bell.
I'll definitely be using the Bellibolt. It's the consistency combined with the fact that the Miraidon I have is being used for my ranked battle team. Also, it's going right into a Dive Ball.

I went into a support role, I build up a weezing and he does great with all teams! Taunt, stat reset, melt special armor
I'm really enjoying the public raids for this one; it feels good when it all clicks. I've been using Ludicolo, for the flavor. Item isn't important...I'm using heat rock. Primarily there to chilling water for your teammates, but also bringing Sunny Day to help cut the damage from the wave crashes. Giga drain for healing, and solar beam for some extra damage, although Grass Knot is just as powerful. There is something about a sparkly Ludicolo with a huge flower hat on, shaking his money makers before blasting with a solar beam; it hits just right.
This might have people call me crazy... But I beat Dondozo with Lilligant. In terms of NPCs, Having a Gardevoir and any Pokémon with Intimidate is CRUCIAL for its survivability.
Lilligant build:
Ability: Leaf Guard
Tera Type: Grass
Nature: Either Modest for damage, or Bold for a bit of bulk
Item: Shell Bell
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Def/4 HP
Moveset:
- Sunny Day
- Worry Seed
- Growth
- Giga Drain

That miraidon build is insane! I tried it and beat dondozo in like 4 or 5 moves and I've already caught one of each of the tatsugiri! I was able to get 2 of the white ones from kitakami back to back too. I'm gonna stock up on herba mystica since this raid was so easy lol
what i did is just use 2 metal sound then charge then attack cheer to reduce 1 rng on metal sound then electric drift only issue is crit, intimidate team is needed :)

Used Tera Grass Serperior for this for Gastro Acid to supress Unaware, though Intimidators will be mandatory to survive Avalanche. Also, use Gastro Acid & Reflect for the first 2 turns so charge drain doesn't bother you.

Max SpA, but I use 40 for both defenses & the rest goes to HP

Whaaaaat? I think this is one of the quickest 7 star raids I've ever done! 🤩
Easiest 7-star Tera Raid experience to date. Using the Miraidon strategy, I was very fortunate to have NPCs with Tauros, Staraptor, and Drifblim, for two Intimidates and a Burn status to heavily mitigate damage from Earthquake. First-time go.
Use Miraidon holding the metronome item. Just use parabolic charge from turn 1 all of the way until K.O. Make sure Parabolic charge is maxed out. With this method you don’t need to worry about an intimidate Pokémon.

I think I had insane RNG luck because my Miraidon was a Sp.A/HP one but I had a Tauros and all my Metal Sounds landed so I was still able to one shot the Dondozo 😊
I really wanted my Gastro Acid Contrary Serperior set to work because Gastro Acid nullifies Unaware making +6 leaf storms do more damage. Unfortunately Avalanche just does too much damage especially after it sets up curse. I’m going to keep labbing it to see if it could still work. Maybe a different Tera type to resist or take neutral damage.
Update: It does work with Tera Water and Grass Knot.

I beat this raid already using a remodeled Serperior. I WOULDN'T recommend it though as although it ONLY took me 2 attempts at the raid, it was absolutely down to pure luck.The build of the Serperior I used: Her move set was: Gastro acid, Leaf blade, Knock off and Coil. Held item was shell bell. First move used is always gastro acid. Follow with Lots of uses of coil then leaf blade. Ideal allies were: At least 1 intimidater, Arboliva(for Seed sower) and a status user, preferably burn(Will o wisp or Flamethrower). Like I said though, pure luck made this build look like a 50/50 toss up. At max coil though, Dondozo hitting Critical with Avalanche semmingly CANNOT kill you via gastro acid so that's a nice little boon.😅(My personal experience in the winning attempt, Dondozo even did a Cyrus (BDSP) and got 2 Crits in a row and my Serperior was still standing with just under half health.)
I also have 1 each of the shiny Tatsugiri already. So I've already 100%d the event day 1.🤣😅
Feels like it's been a while since we had a 1OHKO 7-star raid but luckily I got a Staraptor for my first attempt and locked in the win easily w the Miraidon build, ty!

Helpful tip: if you’re not a good battler like myself, give Miraidon the Shell bell instead of the life orb. Although life orb boosts the power of your Miraidon moves it will lose HP. So if Metal sound misses Dondozo or if you’re not using the moves in the right order, the Dondozo will Spam Earthquake and life orb will take out Miraidon depending on how much HP it has. Plus if you end up attacking it you will faint quick. I switched my item to Shell 🐚 bell 🔔 and took out the Dondozo first try!
That Miraidon build was such a serve
I got 2 salty and a bitter herba when I beat and caught Dondozo. I got 2 shiny Tatsugiri WITHOUT any sandwiches as well.(I already had the shiny with the brown back due a non event outbreak.)
I'm very unlucky, I couldn't use the orb because my Miraidon didn't hit Metal Sound in a row... Which led me to having to use Wide lens, and unfortunately for me, it still had about 2% of hp, he activated the shield, but I just had to keep attacking and he died, but your video helped a lot.
@@cayalle yeah the Rng with Miraidon can be tricky sorry to hear the metal sounds were not on point, it’s frustrating I had the same a few times in testing myself. Thanks for the comment and support and gl with future dondozo raids

What if you put an air baloon on the miraidon? Wouldn't that get rid of earthquake?
I beat this using your Bellibolt Strat. My first solo 7 star. My last hit was literally on the 0 second before him releasing his power.
I was between using a lure ball and a beast ball, I guess we will see later on when I can finally do the raid
Was resetting days to get a shiny Shroomish, then I see a Dondozo outbreak form. Coincidentally a Tadbulb one too, and I caught a shiny one. Now I’m gonna use it to take down the big beast!
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: if you give Miraidon a shuca berry Dondozo won’t use earthquake.
But there is still the threat of avalanche. Don't forget, Morrison is also a dragon type.

Just an FYI, the list of vitamins and feathers is a bit wrong. It's 25 vitamins plus 2 feathers, not 4. But it won't let you put all 4 at that point anyway, so it's not a big deal. Max EV in a stat is 252. 25 vitamins get 250, so you only have room for 2 feathers. But you don't have to worry about accidentally doing this and wasting them since it'll only allow 2 at that point.
I've already got all of the Tatsugiri from the outbreaks now. My Droopy form even got the Rare mark :D
The Miraidon strategy was definitely the way to go
Does unaware ignore Attack boosts that would go to hit it, or does it only work when it attacks and ignores any defense boosts? The kind of Thing Unaware is meant to ignore is pretty vague.

They made it really easy to hunt these Tatsugiri, huh?
Usually, the tiger-mark Stretchy Shiny is a bit hard to spot due to sharing orange color with normal Curly. My friend had a harder time hunting that when the Outbreak marker wasn't fixed yet.
But now, it should be easy to spot, especially in Blueberry Polar or Canyon Biome.
It took you 5 turns with Miraidon, not 4. 3 Metal Sounds, 1 Charge, and 1 Electro Drift.
Miraidon it is. Want to finish and catch it fast and start shiny hunting in the outbreaks.

So pretty sure Intimidate doesn't work through shields, cause it works like a status move. In the vid you talked about it like it was helping, even when the shields were up. Great vid though, very much a lot of help.

Finally Decided to catch Dondozo, tried the Miraidon build and I caught it on my first try. I used a Luxury Ball. ✨
Are the Herba Mystica actually random? I tend to see more of one type during a specific 7* Raid.
I used Arceus with the zap plate, stellar tera, acid spray, judgement, recover, electric terrain, it took 3 tries. Wouldn’t recommend it for farming the raid, but it got me through. I always try Arceus on the seven star raids because it’s my favorite Pokemon.
I played the support role in a group with Lapras. I tought it reflect, thunderbolt, freeze dry, and life dew with water absorb. Got in a group with three Miraidon and we crushed it.
I used reflect, chilling water, life dew and freeze-dry great support.
I caught two of each shiny tatsugiri so I'm set for now with the max outbreaks for this event.
Drifblim is another good parter so long as it W.o.W on turn 1. Having dozo burned has it doing minimal damage after the first turn.
Bro, I just OHKO'ed the Dobdozo with my spare Miraidon. It was orgasmic.
I Soloed This with Reuniclus:-
Nature:- Modest
Ability:- Regenarator
Iv's 31'S in all except ATK.
Ev Spread:- 252 HP, 252 SP.A and the remaining in DEF
Tera Type:- GRASS
Moveset:-
Skill Swap - Swap your Ability With Dondozo to get Unware
Iron Defence - Bulk's Yourself against Dondozo's Strong Physical Attacks
Recover - Heals your Health to make you last longer in the fight
Energy Ball - Your Primary Attack/ This Move also has a chance of Lowering Dondozo's Sp.def which will be Huge.
Steps:-
Turn 1- Use Skill Swap to Aquire Unaware
Turn 2 - Iron Defence to tank dondozo attacks better
Turn 3 - Recover - This should give back at least 80-100% of your half back
Turn 4 - Energy Ball to Get Dondozo shield Up
When Dondozo Gets his Shield And Nullified you Buffs Etc Use Iron Defence again Twice. You should also Terastise at this point aswell(Avalanche shouldn't do Massive damage if used)
After that Turn go to your cheers and Select the Attack Cheer to get your ATK/SP.A to Plus 3
Turn 10 - Energy Ball till Shield Breaks - Somewhere at this point Dondozo will use Curse but since we Stole Dondozo's Unaware it will Not Affect us at all.
When Shield Breaks Just Keep Hitting Energy Balls till it Faints.
This May not be the Best Method But I soloed it with this, If the NPC's Also Have pokemon with intimidate(Arcanine) this will also help.

I built the Bellibolt from scratch. Used a dive ball to catch.
For the raid I used lapras with ability water absorb with maxed defense and hp Brave nature, water Tera type with light clay item... I used moves: reflect, chilling water, life dew and freeze- dry. I play as support mon

Ive been assisting with Meganium with reflect and safeguard.
I discover that to reset your raids and stufff all you need to do is press x and then connect to the internet you don’t even need to go into poke portal
I didn't redo the 252 hp and 252 SpAtk EVs on my Miraidon and it still worked.
Miraidon raid moves:
Turn 1 - metal sound
Turn 2 - metal sound
Turn 3 - metal sound
Turn 4 - charge
Turn 5 - electro drift
I did this and he still had some health left on my first try so not sure what happened. Had to run and try again and did the 1HKO
Bro I was NOT expecting a one shot off Miraidon
All it takes is 3 miraidons. 2 use metal sound on the first turn and the 3rd uses charge. The next turn the miraidon that used charge uses electric drift and it 1 shits dondozo. Works EVERYTIME but it’s hard to pull off because people bring a different Pokémon or even people who bring miraidon will use some other move on the first turn.

So far havent respec my miraidon ev(kinda lazy atm) so i tried a different pokemon. I forgot where i used the old shaymin sky form modest 252 spa and def then hp. Got knocked out 1 from a crit avalanche but other than that i managed to clear it
Moveset is seed flare and grass knot, other 2 moves i had at the time was worry seed and sweet scent that i didnt use.
Will retry tomorrow but i will changed him to land form so only 2x avalanche and not 4 times but will lose 20 sp.atk but gain more defense to tank.
I finally did my venusaur raid, I did it with Weavile! I just did this. I caught it in a lure ball.
I swear you need perfect planetary alignment to make that Miraidon strategy work. For me it's working around 1 in 8 times.
I think I’ll throw my Gyarados into a few online rooms for some support. Taunt/Chilling Water seems like decent control to help boosters.

I did all this with intimidate and after even 2 charges after 3 metal sounds does not one hit kill it. I had to do 3 metal sounds, 1 charge, and 1 attack cheer to 1 hit KO but still need intimidator
