Wanted to Post an Alternative build guide to the Armarouge as many people have expressed they don't have Scarlet for the version exclusive or DLCs for Scorching Sands, the Annihilape is accessible by all and a solid quick option which a lot of you already have built. Hope this helps :)
@@MiniforceRailfan I also use Garchomp after beat Emboar using different Pokémon but I use Sand Veil instead because I don't want to see rough skin ability text appear every turn.
I haven't tried this yet but it seems really good. Tera Ground Shell Bell Ursaluna with Belly Drum and Earthquake. With Guts ability Ursaluna will get an attack boost if it gets burned by Flare Blitz. An Intimidate NPC is required for this to work. It can also use Taunt after its shield breaks to prevent the double Bulk Up. Adamant Nature with max Speed IV and 56 Speed EVs will let you outspeed it.
I usually have Drain Punch as my fourth attack. I use it to chase terastalization and to heal when I need it, especially when combined with the shell bell.
So far I have used Arceus, Swampert and Garchomp. Out of these 3, Garchomp has achieved the fastest time. If Arceus has nasty plot it will be a lot faster for me.
Thanks for sharing A-an :) great to hear all of these have been working out well for you and I always think the same with Arceus....we are cursed with only calm mind haha
Not sure which arceus you're using, but Draco plate makes you resist fire, so it doesn't select flare blitz and no chance for burn. And tera-psychic stored power 💥 Charge tera & wait for stat reset (stored power x3) Recover Iron defense x 3, calm mind x 6 Attack cheer Tera + stored power X2
I used Tera Ground Pecharunt: Modest nature/ Item Shell Bell 200 HP/ 58 Defense/ 252 Sp. Atk Moves: Nasty Plot/ Acid Spray/ Shadow Ball/ Tera Blast Works like a Charm
Was able to use Annihilape in a flash for this raid, just kept an eye on my HP and made it through with no issues. I appreciate all the advice and builds that you do. Can't wait to see who will the next 7 star tera raid.
Thank you. I did build an Armarouge in one of my Scarlet playthroughs. It took three attempts before I was successful. I did your Annihilape for my other three games and was successful in all three.
I’m really impressed by this build and so glad I found it! I’m not great at battling so I always have to follow a guide for stuff like this. I was worried it was going to take me a while to get the emboar but first try I got it! I was shook bc I really thought it was going to take me as long as it took me for the charizard
The NPC who brings Gardevoir is really helpful in this raid. It kept using Life Dew, so I was able to set up without having to use Rage Fist to regain HP.
I use support Quagsire and made it at second try because partners online were using mainly physical attackers and I joined thinking they would use the special side of those pokemon. I need more special attackers to be used in order for Quagsire to work well, I don't get why are many physical attackers being used when Emboar has bulk up to increase its defense.
Again with the last 7 star raid, if you watched Osirus' other raid builds if you dont have the means to make a build the Annihalape used for a previous raid works without resetting stats. Just change its tera from fighting to ghost and the moveset given here
Garchomp does a better job. Throw one sand attack to start then earthquake until nullified stats the swords dance 3x l, then terastillize and spam earthquake more and hold a shell bell. It smokes Emboar with just under half on the timer left
Garchomp @ Rough Skin Impish 100Hp/156 Atk/252 Def Shell Bell Stellar Tera Breaking Swipe (x2 at start) Swords Dance Earthquake Garchomp resists Fire/Rock and immune to Electric. Lose slight offensive power with Stellar Tera but Defensively it’s great because Emboar only hits you with Drain Punch. Ground tera would take more damage from flare Blitz but do more damage in return. Perhaps Rain Dance as 4th move and ground tera would be the big brain move.
Everyone is sleeping on Ground tera Kommo-o Very consistent, solo/online. tanks hits and hits hard. Only weakness are the Emboar crits. Adamant; Shell bell 252HP 126Atk/Def; max IVs last 4 are up to you Ability doesn't matter, but Overcoat can be useful Swords Dance Iron Defense Earthquake- max PP Screech - debuffs Bulk Ups - Build up tera - at least 2 Iron Def and SD (max for Solo) - 1 Atk cheer, terastallize and STAB - 2X Screech after shield breaks Other cheers as needed
Maybe if ya get a burn possibly Rain Dance before healing the burn to nudge him into not doing Flare Blitz? Hadn't tried out yet so just a suggestion that could work maybe.
Yeah its definitely worth considering as the rain will hopefully deter the flare blitz I probably got a bit greedy not setting up another rain dance, hope the build helps if you try it out :)
@@Osirus I unfortunately didn't have enough berries to reset my Ape's EVs so I had to think of another route. I went with a ground tera garchomp. Pretty much overall same strat with rain dance, swords dance, earthquake, and tera blast.
Here's my build: Mew (psychic tera, shell bell) Ability: Synchronise Iron Defense / Nasty Plot / Acid Spray / Stored Power Evs: Sp. Atk & Defense Bot companions: Arcanine or Tauros for intimidate Boost defense, charge tera with Acid Spray, after de-buffs, increase defense and Sp. Atk to max, Stored Power, terastalize and continue attacking with Stored Power
Everything was going great, just had to hit him 2 more times to finish him, I had full health and bulk ups, this Emboar did 2 bulk ups and then 2 head smashes all in a row to kill me, 4 actions in a row, then when I came back to life he crit and I lost. I got played. RNG is WILD.
As someone who cannot get the DLC for a few reasons, I'm grateful you always make an accessible option for tera raids. It means i still have a chance to participate. Thank you for keeping everyone in mind! ❤🎉❤

Try a little bat called gliscor hyper train it it's a ground flying type and earthquake is supper effect use sword dance a few times to make earthquakes do extra damage emboar was easy to take down for me using the bat🙂
I don't get how its easy. As soon as I rain dance it locks in and only wild charges. Can't survive long enough to tera. Yes it is max iv adamant nature. Rage fist doesn't do enough damage to recover enough hp to keep me alive. Teammates do nothing of any use. A couple attempts I made it to my bulk ups but still couldn't stay alive, just wild charge me to death. Healing cheer useless. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong....😢
I learned to build a Pokémon with evs etc for this raid fight cause wasn't having much luck getting lucky and getting carried like normal. thanks to your help i was able to catch it solo and now thinking of farming.

Try therian landorus. Ability intimidate. 200/200 in hp and defense. Rest in attack. Adamant nature. Needs really only 2 moves, earthquake and sword dance. Rain dance is ok too if you don’t get any other mon with intimidate ability in solo. Can finish it with almost half timer if done right. Makes the raid a breeze.
I used Armarouge with my battle with Emboar last night & got it on the first try! I watched your Armarouge vlog & followed your pattern although I don't have the DLC on my Scarlet Version so I had to use Tera Blast! Managed to beat it within 15 to 25 minutes! Used an Ultra Ball to catch my Emboar!
I must have the WORST RNG in Pokemon history. Followed guide precisely.... same build / same everything..... Constantly get crits against me.... get one shotted numerous times.... and always burned.
I did it solo with a sandaconda with max EVs on HP and Attack that I already have in my home. The held item was shell bell. I used earthquake or drill run during the first three turns, until emboar nulify my status changes. Add Focus Energy as a 4th move. Use it turn one and none of Emboar's later bulk ups will matter unless you get incredibly unlucky with crits.

How come wild charge does so much more damage to my Mon

i named my annihilape Koba because he's always angry
