When someone steals the idea, they steal the current state of the idea. More than the idea its the creator's brain thats the real intellectual property. What people cannot steal is how the idea is going to evolve/transform in the creator's head.
@@rokrsa If you have the idea, you can start to evolve it yourself. If the person who steals your idea, has more resources than you, he will take your idea and make money with it, while you suffer without your idea and without your business.
@@mikep11218 I agree to the context you are talking about - when a well-baked idea is copied by someone who is able to deploy the necessary (not just more) resources around it, the original inventor ends up losing the opportunity. There are examples in the industry when a late entrant learns from the pioneer, and out execute them. But what would you recommend when one has an idea but does not have access to all the required resources or capital to get started with, Trust becomes an important tool get people helping you and garner the initial set of resources.
