I got a 2024 Silverado Z71, LT, V8, w/leather seats for the price of a 2024 Taco OR with clothed seats. The chevy was a bigger bang for my buck. Toyota really shot their own foot with the pricing. (I came from a 2019 Taco TRD Pro btw)
over 50 g's for a 4 cylinder 4x2? insane. It must depreciate at least 10 grand as soon as you drive it off the lot. I have a prior gen tacoma and wouldn't mine another but the prices.....wow. nope.
I'm starting to see them out on the roads. I'm not sure why there is this "sky is falling" attitude about them all over UA-cam. Go back and look at any production where they do a generation change and you will see there is always a dip in sales. Happened back in late 2015. It is called a ramp up period.
Bruuuuuuuuuce, there are always issues the first couple of years in a new generation that will need to be worked out, and Toyota is no exception. Particularly with all of these changes with the twin turbo 4 banger, the multiple cooling systems, etc. AND with these prices?!! Hell no!
“You get what you pay for” - sorry, I respectfully disagree. You get what dealership sucker you into paying for. Hold the line folks, make dealership dig their own hole and pile up debt bcuz of their greedy price tags. Make them pay!!!

50+ k for a 2wd tacoma is mental. i have a 21 last month built in Texas, and it is offroad 4wd and will shit all over these. i paid 39k new...
Because I recently bought a 2024 4Runner with a V6 that was and is proven to last for $54k
It's still insane to have to pay that for a reliable car
You're stoked but that vehicle should be 45k lol Car market is out of control.
$54k hahah.
Shits worth about $29k on trade in
Pricey and quality control in the gutter
Too expensive. I can afford one, but its the principal. 65k + mark ups? No thanks.
a stressed 4 cylinder and a turbo thats made in china.

‘You get what you pay for’ Tell that to the guys paying 70k for their tundras and their engines blowing up….. Toyota quality
No way ain't gonna spend that kind of money for an over price truck..

Hold on to that gen 3!
Because they are expensive trash
Why are Tacoma's not selling? First year of a new generation , do people really not know that simple fact?

Prices are ridiculous for what they are. There are just better options out there for the price and most people do not trust the reliability yet.
Whoever sets prices at toyota should be fired cause they are coming to work drunk.
Umm....price alone is a joke. Tacomas are now unreliable.
My 19 TRD offroad will have to last a long time!!! With the 4cyl &ugly ass body lines, i won't buy a new one!
Back seat too small even on crew cab.
Because Toyota went weird anime Fentanyl. Overbearing gadgets and robots way overpriced with absolutely horrible creature comfort utilitarian use
I got my taco sport fully loaded 50k out the door 👍🏼
You are crazy
A sport for 50k? Thats insanity. Just a few years ago they were like 38k
Your trade in value is like $31k now LOL
Get ready for the recalls.
@@wallbangerzsports Why would he instantly trade it in?
