Yet another untravelled wish, well-captured. Last year we travelled to the north east side of Arunachal, Menchuka. It gives a similar vibe. We connected sometimes back but could not speak. Let me fill in the form again.

I went last year.. in April.. honestly speaking what ever shown in this video, the actual place is way more picturesque.. I and my husband literally cried the day we left lachung.. it's more like a fairytale.. bizzare and exotic place seemed something like another planet.. honestly speaking this place changes from month to month, in April both lachen and lachung were full of Greenery.. and the road trip from lachung to yumthang valley, it was surely a paradise made for humans. The whole valley was covered with crores of colorful Rododendron trees and flowers bursting from the branches.. each altitude had different coloured Rhododendron and got to watch so many exotic flowers and birds and insects i have never witnessed my entire life.. i heard this year due to climate change the valley didn't bloom so many colorful flowers and seemed more like this particular video, frozen. But believe me guys the true beauty of this yumthang valley was the colourful and exotic flowers. If possible next time I will stay there for atleast 1 week because last time I didn't want to leave the place.
This episode truly deserves a ❤..For me personally it brought back a lot of memories..I'd visited Sikkim in the mid 80s with my parents..we'd been to Yumthang too..we'd stayed over there..the "accommodation" was a run down forest lodge with no provision for food..n nothing else around!!..A little BRO worker invited us to his home for dinner which we gratefully accepted..nothing like a warm meal in the cold, freezing weather..I could go on, but will stop for now.. Kudos to you for all that you put out.
As a Pakistani I might never visit Sikkim but it is my dream place... Everything is so perfect from the mountains to the valleys... Amazing!!! I wish to visit India once in my lifetime...
Visited North Sikkim this year in june. Its almost 1 month 4days. Watching the video feels like reliving those memories. What a trip it was!!! Every description that he gave about reaching 17800 ft height its exactly what we felt and then wondering how can a heavenly place like this present on earth. North sikkim is actually underrated compared to the other landscapes.
Hi, is june / july a good time to visit?I am a little concerned because of monsoons. Will the roads be open and views visible? Also can someone go via motorcycle instead of a cab?
Actually bro I went to sikkim 1st april this year and to kashmir 22 may I have noticed that the real heaven is in sikkim some places in kasmir is look like heaven like doodh pathri and gulmarg. I didn't like it more than this two place but in sikkim I have enjoyed very much and enjoyed every places like lachung lachen gurudongmar Gangtok ❤❤❤

Gurudongmar lake is a must visit place in Sikkim. It feels like heaven. Visited a year back and was mesmerised by it’s beauty. Rhododendron Sanctuary is one of the most picturesque locations. Sir thanks to you capturing the surreal beauty of North Sikkim.
@@mdhasantareq7873Foreigner matlab ? If you are from Bangladesh or Srilanka you can travel all over India with a visa and then you have to book a package in Gangtok which takes the permit to enter beyond Lachen. Maybe a shared trip. You need two photographs and some documents.

Beautiful . Been there two years back, just two days after snow fall. Our vehicle had to stop about 600 meters short of it . Could reach by taking a step up slowly . We visited Kala Panther also before Gurudongmar. That was amazing trip including Yamthung and Zero Point. Absolutely beautiful .

Sikkim and specially North Sikkim is heaven on earth. The connectivity to Gurudongmarg is much improved now. I went there in 2013-Nov. We were out of breathe and there were few ITBP guys running on frozen lake as if they dont have to breathe. Its mesmerizing. Sadle its not that famous for people of North. Blame it on the distance or lack of knowhow of eastern part. Nost of the tourists there were fron WB. Lucky guys..
Sikkim, in itself,is a beautiful state. However, North Sikkim , undoubtedly, stands out to be an edifice of magnificence... North Sikkim blessed immensely by nature is the best..The blue waters of pristine and serene Gurudongmar lake appears to be like a bowl of paradise on earth.Not even for a second one would like to miss its majestic look.Then , both tiny villages, Lachen and Lachung are like a painting of an artist who has tried to paint his dream of helmets on the canvas. Yumthang, or valley of blooming purple flowers, decked beautifully on the ground, gives a breathtaking experience of the valley. One would love to enjoy its beauty for hours together. Such an exquisite marvel of beauty may last for a long time in memory lane if one happens to go there to visit these places. Too good Abhishek...

Very well covered Sir ! I’ve stayed in North Sikkim for 2 years from 2008 - 2010. The place is actually mesmerising, beautiful and everyday was such a blessing 😊. The attitude takes a toll on the body and you moved from Lachen to Plateau and down to chugthang & again up to Lachung which was actually great. Earlier in 2008 the roads conditions were not so great but good to see things have improved. Loved the episode and would love to visit again soon. Cheers and Jai Hind

Parikrama of Gurudongmar lake is a amazing experience but need proper acclimatisation and there are many hot springs ahead of yumthang valley. A wonderful place and a must visit again. I could see how you struggled with capturing the beauty of North Sikkim. I have been there in 2018 december and it is impossible to capture North Sikkim in the camera. I don't know if you managed to go Kaala Patthar bcz it needs special permit from the military. But if you had been there, Kaala Patthar is also very mesmerising. Also the Zero Point in Lachung, it is the origination point of Teesta river and has a view of Kanchenjunga mountain. I retook my trip to North Sikkim through this video.

Very well covered Sir ! I’ve stayed in North Sikkim for 2 years from 2008 - 2010. The place is actually mesmerising, beautiful and everyday was such a blessing 😊. The attitude takes a toll on the body and you moved from Lachen to Plateau and down to chugthang & again up to Lachung which was actually great. Earlier in 2008 the roads conditions were not so great but good to see things have improved. Loved the episode and would love to visit again soon. Cheers and Jai Hind

Parikrama of Gurudongmar lake is a amazing experience but need proper acclimatisation and there are many hot springs ahead of yumthang valley. A wonderful place and a must visit again. I could see how you struggled with capturing the beauty of North Sikkim. I have been there in 2018 december and it is impossible to capture North Sikkim in the camera. I don't know if you managed to go Kaala Patthar bcz it needs special permit from the military. But if you had been there, Kaala Patthar is also very mesmerising. Also the Zero Point in Lachung, it is the origination point of Teesta river and has a view of Kanchenjunga mountain. I retook my trip to North Sikkim through this video.
