This takes me back to such a magical time. A lot of talk was that their best days might be behind them. Riot Act kind of "flopped" (even though I loved it) and their Sony deal was up. They randomly signed a deal with Clive Davis and J Records and hit #1 on the modern rock charts again with 'Suicide' and the album debuted at #2. Eddie was just shiny as fuck at this time, the shows were great -- they played SNL again and did a Who tribute, soundtracks for Adam Sandler and Sean Penn films, and multiple festivals. 2005-2010 era was just incredible imo.
AMAZING PERFORMANCE!! 😊💓 I know Eddie laughs at himself in the 1992 video but that's what hooked us!! My favorite band and Eddie is one of my favorite human beings on this planet. ✌️
I was getting over a break up when this was first broadcast. Pearl Jam at there best. Felt loads better after. Also this episode had Corinne Bailey Rae playing. Been a fan ever since.
Totally awesome!!!! I LOVE PEARL JAM ❤️🤘✌️ Absolutely love 2006 era!! Eddie is gorgeous!! But I love everyone in Pearl Jam! Thank you for sharing this awesome video!! She is one lucky lady! 😊
@@ladyz2291 OK 4 Soundgarden and Alice in chains Queen ? OK cause they re on the soundtrack of wayne's world. Iron Maiden ? I don t know. The musicians of Britney Spears maybe ?
I agree. People who are only familiar with radio-Pearl Jam will claim they peaked in the 90's. But for me this era, this album, this tour, was the peak. Every element was at the top of it's game. It was the soundtrack to my life at the time, living carefree in my 20's. I went to 3 shows on that tour, and they blew the roof off at all of them.
I came up with a good idea since I'm really liking the Prophets of Rage currently. Which is Trump in the mosh pit unarmed at the show. Sound fun. I bet Ice T wants to see that one. Prophets on deck. J.
I mean, Matt’s here now, though, and has been for years. Doubt he’s going anywhere any time soon, and I doubt that Dave A will be returning at all even more than that. Plus, Matt was on Momma/Son, so he kinda has seniority over Dave anyway. Not to mention, he’s still an insane drummer. I love Pearl Jam in any form. Any fan would.
The magic was gone. It was totally different when you were young, wild, passionate and energetic. Nothing lasts forever. As Neil Young goes: Its better to burn out than to fade away.
Man there’s nothing like wishing your favorites musicians had died rather than their sound evolving right… PJ still make great music. So glad they made it through the rough stuff. Rock on boys!
Eddie is looking very gorgeous!!

I fucking love eddie vedder!!!!!!!!!!
Mike is a brilliant guitarist...one of the best.
I really love watching Stone when they played PinkPop in '92
yep
So underrated, do ppl listen his genius melody, technique etc.???
Stones not the lead player Mike is,but he's brilliant in his own way, like a metronome the way they're in sync
'If I don't lose control, explore and not explode' so good!

Severed Hand was a surprise highlight in QC in 16. Sounds so GOOD LIVE!
My Heroes
Amazing. I really like the PJ/Avocado record anyway.
Pearl Jam in their prime! Awesome! Eddie should grow his hair long again
I agree. I love to see it flying around. I like the long hair on all of them
Peael jam prime was definately 1992
I think he’s too old now lol
@@LEMOnBRaINn No way! Look at Robert Plant. He's almost 80!

Maravilhoso 👏👏👏
Exelent.....
WWS and SH back to back! Want to hear those live!!
They killed WWS on this show, so much energy. Just brilliant.
band on point as usual...some nice new songs I hadn’t heard yet before and oh we get to see ed dance very entertaining 👏👏👏
but who is the lady he is dancing with? random audience person?
@@stulora3172 isn’t that Corrine Bailey Rae?
I really wish that they could have worked things out with Dave. I think he was the best 😊❤️
QUE TEMAZO
Se le ve muy Vital a Eddie ❤️🔥
Every other band in the room is going we gotta follow that..lol
I'm sure they played Alive last. It would be cruel on the others not to.
What us HUMAN? What is MORE??
You don't miss a thing.

He tries to keep the devil eddie in him..but i see him
2019♤...enD.
Like 20.21/22
Is that a fruit or vegetable? I don’t care. ❤️😆
I’d hate to be the artist following that no way you are I’d go home
Still liked it better with Dave Abrazzese on the drums.
LesPest positively!!!
Eddie and Jeff disliked him quite a bit

Last good album in my opinion

Nope, fading away is ok
You literally offering to kill yourself instead of natural death
Man there’s nothing like wishing your favorites musicians had died rather than their sound evolving right…
PJ still make great music. So glad they made it through the rough stuff. Rock on boys!
@[MrMegaPint] ten and vs are my favorites but backspacer has some great stuff on it and lightning bolt has been growing on me the last couple years.
@@leinonibishop9480 I agree. So very glad they survived the 90s and are still here evolving as ever.
Wow u nuts
