Been with navy for about 2 years, just started getting the credit cards, applied for the platinum card got approved for 30k 3 months ago. Applied for the flagship yesterday and got approved for 22k 💪💪💪I might product change the flagship to more rewards though since I don't travel alot and don't really like the annual fee
Amazing! I should have started with NavyFed long time ago because I'm a military veteran but I didn't know. I've been with USAA for so long that offers no value:(
That’s fair. Platinum is for when you get in trouble and Flagship Rewards is a good daily driver. Surprised to see it as an S since every element of the card can be done better by a different card. That said, all the useful credits in a 2x card is pretty sweet.
I think the More Rewards should be an “S” card since nearly everyone needs to do things like buy groceries, gas, and the like as opposed to more travel-oriented categories. Getting 3x on these things that likely take up 25% or so of your income, especially if you have a [large] family are outstanding! Don’t get me wrong, the Flagship is definitely a very premium card, but I don’t see it as a ‘primary’ daily driver, but more as the one for ‘everything else.’ I totally agree on the Platinum card, BTW, as it’s a literal ‘emergency’ card that should be stashed away somewhere and otherwise only used once every 5 or 6 months just to keep the account open.
I recently got approved for the N Rewards card! I was so excited I love NFCU I will keep my utilization low and make all payments on time. So in three months I can get CLI and in six months get my deposit back and get the Cash Rewards card! I love your channel very informative and helpful!

The Flagship & More Rewards are my favorite cards. I was able to open my Flagship just under 4 months I opened my nRewards & More Rewards cards with a limit of $15k when I only had a total limit between my other 2 cards of $900. I really love Navy Federal.
The More Rewards Amex is the best hands down. No annual fee and more 3X categories than the Flagship. Flagship frankly could use some attention Navy Fed.

I got the flagship in may 2021 and they paid the amazon prime fee which was the promo. Last month my prime membership was up for renewal and automatically charged my flagship. But what was a delightful surprised is NFCU paid the SECOND YEAR prime membership fee $130. I was checking my statement and BAM saw membership fee was reimbursed. NFCU rocks, often imitated, never duplicated. Not sure what will happen May 2023, if they will pay it or not, but super happy with this bonus.

I saw your video last night and I applied for the more rewards card. my credit score is between 620-635. my card limit is 15,000$ with an 16% APR. IM happy with my card and thank u for making this video.
You missed 1 key thing on the Cash Rewards card. I have had the card since 2017 and nothing has changed about this: if you have direct deposit with Navy Fed, the card gives 1.75% on all purchases, with no spending cap.

You can use the Flagship Visa to get 3X booking Travel thru the BILT Rewards portal, and also get 1X BILT Rewards, for 4X diversified points. And the same Flagship card gets 2X on everything else. 3X & 2X unlimited, no expiration on points. Flagship's 3X also works on Airbnb, and all those other Travel & Transit things that the BILT card doesn't give you Travel points for. BILT covers Dining 3X Worldwide 🌎🌍 Flagship also has no foreign transaction fees. Using your BILT Rewards, of course you can get 1.25X booking thru them, or transfer out to Partners for an average of 2.2X. That's a really strong pairing and the annual fee between them is only $49 (effectively less with the TSA/Global Entry credit). P.S. Navy Federal has dropped cell phone protection on all of their cards. BILT Rewards has that covered with $800.
I went fir the Navy Federal cash card. It was based on the questionnaire on the website because of low interest rate and gaining cash back. I prefer these cards over having to pay annual fees with the flagship card.
Cash rewards card doesn’t have a set transfer rate, meaning you can redeem at any $ amount, other cards require at least 5,000 pts to redeem like you stated.

Secured credit card) do they check credit ?
Yes
My favorite Navy Fed card is the more rewards Amex card!
I use to have an checking and savings account plus a credit card and line of credit with navy credit unions however due to hard time and unfortunately it went to collection. I’m try to settle those account and reapply back. Is it possible to get a credit card / line of credit back from navy federal credit union once I fix my credit and settle my debt?
Yes depending your score and other factors
The Amex credit card I like
Becoming a member is the biggest hurdle
Don't give up I thought the same however I'm a member now!
Send me a message I can help!
Actually it's not. I got my account over the phone in 20 minutes. I gave them my grandfather's name and dob. He was a U.S. veteran in WWII. She set it up with no questions asked.
What’s the credit limit on them ?
Whatever they say when they give it to you, looks like.
Thanks for the video.
I became a member with them yesterday.
I am thinking about applying for their More rewards card.
My fico score is 730, having 3 credit cards oldest one is 1 year 11 months
Do you recommend applying for it in the next couple weeks?
if not what should I do to be eligible? and how long should I wait?

What if, someone in your family was in the military a long time ago? I really want a Navy Federal credit card.
That would count
My dad was in the Army in WW2. I applied over a year ago and was accepted over the phone. Had to deposit $5 to start my membership.
@@michaelswami my grandfather was how can I get access if he’s passed a while ago
@@jfros9794 call them on the phone. Tell them your story. I got approved over the phone. My dad had passed when I called and I was a bit concerned they might request documentation. I would guess they have access to a database for easy verification.
Naam Wynn = Nam Nguyễn?
Will a pre-approval guarantee a card after a hard inquiry ?
No. Just high probability - no guarantees.
What to do if you messed up your NFCU CC during pandemic? Possible charge off status. Is the relationship salvageable or do you move on?
Years ago I was in a similar situation. I called and paid it off . If you still have eligibility you should be able to get back in . I even have my same access number. I’m not sure if my difficulty getting credit products is my profile or a scarlet letter from being closed down . I will say I can’t use over draft anymore but I’m happy to be back in .
@TRANSUNION CONSULTANT SCAMMER!
Which card should I apply for just to build my credit?
Depends on what rewards points are most beneficial to you.
The nRewards Secured credit card
Thamks nam
I was not one of those lucky members to receive a high limit. I got $500...
In due time. Use that card monthly for 6 months keep it less then 30% ,pay in full monthly build that relationship with them and 6 months to a year you will be at a higher bracket ...especially if your credit is not up to par!!!@ Patience is key
That's a good start. You're in the system
What is csr?
Chase Sapphire Reserved
Is USAA the same as Navy Federal?
Both are for “military” USAA is more of a bank and Navy Federal is a credit union.
I have no credit history but, I've had Nfcu for about 4 months now. They sent me invites to apply for the go rewards card does that allow me to skip the secure credit card ?
Your most likely prequalified, I would go ahead and do it.

Yes same thing i got in the mail but i only pre q’d for the secured and i applied for the go rewards n got 15k just do it after 11:30 plm
I think cash back on the green card is 1.75%
It's 1.5 unless you have direct deposit. If so then it's 1.75
