I’ve been with NF for a few years but I admit I’ve been stupid with my finances and I had a realization recently and I’m doing my research to lower my overall debt and raising my credit score. This channel is really informative.
I absolutely agree with level you rank each card. The Flagship and More Rewards go hand to hand. I have the More Rewards, and the only reason why I got it because I’m getting the same benefit from the Capital One Venture and the annual fee being waived.
Just landed the Flagship Rewards, can confirm they do pull from TransUnion. Only a member for 4 months, 25k limit. Considering moving from USAA to NFCU for main banking.
@@ONeal397 I only have their Active Duty Checking and Share Savings account, in addition to the Flagship Rewards (just finished the SUB). For USAA, I have my auto insurance, a loan, a savings account, a checking account, and two credit cards.

I just product changed from go rewards to more rewards. Waiting for my nsecured to graduate to a cash rewards. ...then maybe try that flagship or just ask for a credit limit increase.
My bk7 was discharged in July, 2023. New to NF, with v.a. disability and soc/sec direct deposit, Flagship checking and savings, I got a nrewards card with 1k limit secured. 6 months later, it graduated to cash rewards with 2k limit. Received a car loan in August 2024. October, 2024 cl increase to $3500.00. Took out a 10k pledge secured loan, and today, 12,28/2024. I was approved for a Flagship Visa with a $12,500.00 cl. If you WORK and get your balances down, pay your bills, use Navy Fed services, they will reward you for your RELATIONSHIP with them. From bk7 to Flagship in less than 18 months????? Yes. I was happy to get the Platinum last year they approved me for 20k. Hoping by March they increase my limit when I ask. I don’t like having a bunch of cards but some just won’t budge on upping my limit.

I'm definitely in the Navy federals camp. I had a Wells Fargo secured credit card where we're building my credit and more than two years later and $5,000 of direct deposit every month I still could not get it converted from a secured card with $1,000 limit to an unsecured car even when I requested it I got to denied.
That's rough!!! I'm about 20 months in secured card Cap1 & still hasn't graduated. I always pay off balance in full yet never unsecured...But NavyFed gave me $25K first try 😂.
I have a question. i have a 750 credit score with only 2 credit cards opened ( citi bank credit card 1992 & Bank of America credit card 2010 ) both cards have a 16k limit. My utilization is 6% as well & zero inquiries in the past 2 years will i be able to get a high limit navy federal credit card ?
I would suggest the More Rewards considering it has multiple uses while still remaining rewarding. Food and Gas are practically an everyday/weekly spending cost. Just my two cents.

I think any pulls in a 15??? Day period? Or 30. Not sure of the number But it’ll count as 1 in that time frame. So if you apply for three credit cards in 15 days. It’ll count as 1 hard pull with credit bureaus

I have the same thing, but the car loan I WISH I haven’t gone through them. The refinance way they do things is Sooooooo dumb.
