- This viral TikTok ramen noodles recipe is my absolute favourite. Credits to @westnest4 for showing us how to make this. It's soo delicious!
PS: Exact measurement isn't really shown on her TikTok so this is my take on the recipe! :)

Try my mom’s. She’s Japanese.
Cook the ramen and set aside.
Cook spam slices and set aside.
Stir fry shredded cabbage, shredded carrots and some bean sprouts about 2 min. Add spam, noodles, and 1-2 of seasoning packets to taste and a bit of soy sauce. It’s so good!
Ooooo Love the sound of this!
Why even use spam? There are so many better alternatives than ground pig hooves and snouts.
@@doc7434 you don’t have to if you don’t want to some people like spam
@@doc7434 SPAM is an acronym for "Shoulder Pork And Ham"; its much better than luncheon meat. Its the fat from the fried Spam that gives this dish its characteristic flavor. I tried a variation of this dish when I visited Okinawa. The fried cabbage, sprouts and carrot with spam is a winning combo.

Not everyone is vegetarian.
Oh I’m glad youtube recommended, a lot of your recipes look tasty
Thank you for the support my love❤️
I tried this but my family didn't like it. Too sweet for our taste. Next time I'll replace the brown sugar with oyster sauce and add lemon. I think this will be better.
I'm thinking parmigiano reggiano.
i wanted him to add lemon SO BAD, but i wouldn't add egg AND lemon.
@@blackfeminism lots of chinese cooking uses sugar though. Rock sugar, honey... similar items.
Skip the lemon and sweat fresh grated ginger with the garlic.
@@jburrke7200 sorry did you mean sweat, sweet, or swap? I’m confused
I was skeptical about this but I love noodles for breakfast so thought I would give it a try. I used a few dashes of cayenne instead of red pepper flakes and used only a small spoon of brown sugar and added oyster sauce. The egg is perfect in here. I wish I wasn’t out of green onions because that would really give it the final flavor. I will make this often and use up all the packs of ramen I have that I don’t like the packet flavor of! Thanks for sharing :)
Noodles for breakfast? I guess you can.
Probably the only tiktok ramen recipe i've seen where they didn't over cook the noodles. It's perfect!
This has been around for ages and so many variations of it with the seasonings lol. Throw some veggies and meats to make it more hearty. My parents used to cook this all the time. Glad people in this day and time are discovering the many ways of cooking ramen. I personally don't eat it as much now.
This is really good just tried it!!
Yay! 💜💜
I plan on making this. If not now, soon!
I hope you enjoy it! :)
I am going to try this!! 😄
This looks delicious!

Great video, that looks so good 🍜
Looks great! 😋😋😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Woah, this looks really tasty! I can tell this video will be a future viral video
Thanks for supporting❤️
Great recipe looks really good!😻❤️
Thanks babe❤️❤️
I tried it and it was great
Basically -- just add stuff to your ramen and keep tweaking till you find what you like. It'll make it a LOT better. I have a few variations I like myself... sometimes I use different sauces: pesto alfredo, thai peanut butter, and a garlic oil one. Also I mix it up with toppings, a frozen vegetable mix bag really works (corn is great w/ ramen) if you're on a budget + eggs. Also spices & fats completely change the flavor profile. Can also replace the water with stock or a dilution mix. I like 1/2 chicken miso stock + 1/2 oiled water (just a small bit of garlic oil) w/ whatever toppings I fancy at the time.
This is a great comment, you just gave me a multitude of ideas 👍🍻
Yummy!
So making this soon......👍👍👍
❤️
This recipe is the best thing ever. And it existed before TikTok mind you!
Shiii bussssinnn
Noodles are definitely a wonder of this world
I completely agree! 💜
actually best tweak is if u remove the brown sugar and add oyster sauce instead and instead of the water u use the ramen water and also after whn u garnish u add some of the ramen spice and top with the spring oninions
Looks very delicious.
Thank you💙
Highly recommend
Waw looks yummm
They basically made teriyaki ramen with egg
So I used this recipe as inspo and I made my own version and I think I nailed the ticktock ramen...not too sweet and just spicy enough.
Ingredients
1 pack of Ramen Noodles
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp garlic
1/2 Tbsp Red chili flakes
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
15 ml water
1 egg
Directions;
- Heat up a pan (low and slow)
- Make Ramen noodles
- Slowly make the sauce starting with the butter and slowly adding all the ingredients listed above.
- Add the noodles
- Add and egg
- Plate and top with sesame seeds if you have it.
It’s the fucking same as the video
Just made this. I didn't use egg and add teriyaki to it and it is good. Another way to enjoy ramen. Thanks :D
I like to put fresh ginger in mine. I think that would make this even better. We use to make this in college all the time lol
Ew🙂✌🏽
Looks like lucky me pancit canton
try my dad's. he's lao.
boil one pack of indomie mie goreng, throw away all the liquid and set aside.
stir fry some bell peppers, tomatoes and onions after tossing them in a mix of soy sauce and red chilli flakes
add some green onions and an egg
enjoy!
Adding oyster sauce can increase the flavour
Which quantity?
@@chloeb9325 half a table spoon for each ramen pack
Love oyster sauce… soooooo flavorful!!
Make this all the time except I add onions and bacon bits. 🍜 👍
Omg today I just added bacon bits and AGHHH! So good!
I did this with angel hair spaghetti and fried it to give it that crisp!
Been making something similar for decades. First punch holes in a ramen noodle pack and crush noodles inside the packet into smaller bits. Boil noodles in just enough fluid to cover plus contents of included spice packet and a spoon of mild curry powder. Scramble an egg in a pan and add noodles plus water when egg is ready. Add any of chopped tomato, chives, chopped chillym crushed garlic or soy sauce to the mix. Simmer until nearly all liquid has evaporated and noodles become sticky. Serve on slices of toast and season to taste including ketchup. Serves 2 people.
The ramen seasoning packets are too salty!! I only use half a packet.
Damn can´t find a store near me with those noodles
Hmm...Very nice recipe. Interested to try with brown sugar.
New friends thanks for sharing video
In Hawaii, we call it Fried Saimin
😯 That Brown Sugar killed this.
Yeah, nothing like sugar, flour and butter for a glycation party.
Combined with the soy, garlic and liquid it would be give a teriyaki sauce-like flavor.
Speak for yourself. That took this to the next level
@@feliciavale4279 What is "this?" Diabetes?
@@CarbageMan All things in moderation friend. You don't have to add 2 tbsp of brown sugar to every meal, but if I want some stir fried noodles, by golly I'm going to put the brown sugar in it. I'd rather eat something unhealthy once a month than try to have the "diet" version every other day.
So for one serving could i just add half of the amount of ingredients, right?
Yes :)
and I, a Malaysian, sitting here watching this thinking "This is SO weak compared to Maggie Goreng in my country lmao"
Hahahaha...yap..that's what I'm thinking too🤭🤭🤭
isnt that Indomie noodles?
Share your recipe for Maggie Goreng, please!
It’s a damn tik tok ‘recipe’ from some rando who doesn’t even know how to make real ramen. Nobody makes ramen with brown sugar and butter. Comparing this to your country doesn’t even make sense.
@@lostinkansasonasunnyday305 before that..you must get yourself Curry Flavoured Instant Noodle from Maggi...and than you can search the rest of recipe in UA-cam...our delicious recipe all start with that
this is literally the basic fried noodle recipe we cook daily in my country lmao
welcome to the internet, where old things are new
Soy and brown sugar is Teriyaki. You basically made Teriyaki noodles.
No, it's not. Teriyaki is equal parts soy sauce, mirin, sake, and adding half the amount of sugar.
Looks great but will sub olive oil for butter and half the sugar.
Are there any alternatives to red pepper flakes and if so is one of them paprika?
Yes, you can use paprika :)
@@homecookstable thanks :)
I’m going to attempt but doesn’t tell you the portion of how much of the ingredients to mix in the pan.
But I will try. Always up for learning new ramen recipes ☺️
Hi, the full recipe is in the description box💙💙
Thank you very much, I will attempt tonight. Am exited to see how it turns out 😁
My mom making this since i was little and im 25 rn 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Yes but that doesn't mean the recipe was invented now... It's just that the recipe went viral now, 25years earlier TikTok wasn't a thing and the internet wasn't that famous.
Then you could have made similar video and uploaded it saying it's your mom's recipe instead of commenting here. Atleast appreciate the fact that now a days people are sharing their ideas.

can i use white sugar ?

Yo this recipe was already a thing before Tik Tok
I agree😑...
What’s the taste supposed to be like??
Easy and looks great, but how much of all ingredients?
Full recipe on the description box :)
I make mind wth poached egg. ✌🏼
once a blue moon with that amount of soya sauce and brown sugar is ok to me
It’s basically maggie goreng in Malaysia. UA-cam it please lol.
That’s a lot of brown sugar noooooooooooo🧂🧅🧄🍅🌽🌶🍳🥚🧈🥟🍤🍚
@Kekimbap - yessss me love it 🥘🍛🍲
Looks good except the brown sugar
Is the brown sugar necessary?? And are there any other substitutes for it?
Hi, you can use regular sugar though it will taste a bit different :)
Honey
Someone suggested that I should use oyster sauce as a substitute. Maybe you can try that? 🙂
Just put whatever you like in it.
@@sweetpetit Oyster sauce is not sweet. You would want something sweet as a substitute.
This is actually the way Teriyaki Sauce is made.
I tried making this today and It turned out not as good as I expected it to be I had to throw the leftover
what goes wrong?
I couldn't eat it at all i throw it away as it is
Try it with only a lil bit sugar and some oyster sauce, it'll taste better I believe
i cook ramen like this. but better 😋
😳👍

Here in the Philippines, we call it, “Lucky Me Pancit Canton Original with Egg” 😁✌🏻
If you're going to spend this much effort making this beautiful sauce, why not just use a better noodle? Instant noodles are so bad and are meant for a quick easy meal. If you want it fancy, why not use pasta, egg noodles etc?
What if instant noodles is all someone has and wants to add more flavour? It's not supposed to be fancy, the idea is making a more satisfying meal out of pantry staples.
You calling the sauce fancy explains why it's a ramen noodle recipe, lol.
Pandit canton?
Would low sodium soy sauce work as good?
Yes, just add some salt if needed :)
These dishes with 4 tbl spoons of soy sauce are blood pressure killers.
@@alanrogs3990 All those processed carbs and the seed oils used to manufacture them are the real problem.
@@CarbageMan I'd say both are problems. Is sesame seed oil good for you?
@@alanrogs3990 It's not particularly good for you either-especially the way it's likely processed. As for soy sauce, I use organic tamari instead, and don't use it frequently. The carbs, however, particularly in combination with fats, are a literal killer.
Salt is not a killer. It's just found at the scene of the carb crime. If carbs are cut to a reasonable level, you can have all the salt you desire-in fact you will, and you'll need it. There are actually ancient documents-and the bible-with references to NEEDING salt. It's thought that we need salt because the first ancient societies developed on shorelines of oceans.
Do I NEED SUGER in general
I almost died, I just tried to breath but the pepper almost took me out

i think i made it too sweet and added too much pepper

Add less sugar n sum chill oil

Yay glad you loved it❤️
It’s actually called mazemen if you don’t have broth. Not ramen
Isn't this just yakisoba? I think? I buy yakisoba, where you fry the noodles in a little bit of water. Add season packet, a sauce...looks like oyster sauce, then eat? I like sesame on top with sliced green onion.
High BP mean anything to you!
Well high blood pressure certainly was.
does it really cause that?
Is there a way I can avoid adding soy sauce?
You can replace it with oyster sauce :)

basically homemade indomie lol
Whenever I add the soy sauce and water it just starts to burn and splash so intensely for me. Am I doing something wrong or what?💀
hi
The sauce isn’t all that far of from being the same as the Orange Chicken one
so like..... indomie?
Brown sugar...interesting.
Sweet and spicy.
Did anyone else think that was too much chili? 🥵 🔥
You can adjust the chili as much or as little as you want❤️
You do know there is a flavor packet, right?
@@iampluvia7498 yes i love adding brown sugar to my ramen and a scrambled egg

I seldom use flavor packet with ramen. Soy sauce is best.
Starving student teriyaki ramen. You could do worse.
Wtf brown sugar and scrambled eggs in ramen?

Brown sugar and soy sauce pretty much make kecap manis, which is essential to Indonesian mi goreng. This is pretty much just mi goreng.
Why the hell would anyone put brown sugar on an instant noodle?
SO MUCH SUGAR D:

Too much palm sugar
Not sure what I think about this. Too much brown sugar and soy sauce. I like the eggs in it though. I could also add slivered steak or pork and it'll be a great meal.
