  • This viral TikTok ramen noodles recipe is my absolute favourite. Credits to @westnest4 for showing us how to make this. It's soo delicious!
PS: Exact measurement isn't really shown on her TikTok so this is my take on the recipe! :)
    TIKTOK RAMEN NOODLES (2 Servings)
    - 2 Pack of ramen noodles (You don't need the flavoring packets)
    - 2 Tbsp Butter
    - 3 Clove of garlic (Minced)
    - 1 Tbsp Red pepper flakes (Adjust to your desired spice level)
    - 3 Tbsp Soy sauce
    - 2 1/2 Tbsp Brown sugar
    - 30ml water
    - 2 Eggs
    - Spring Onion & Everything but the bagel seasonings for garnish (I only add spring onion)
TIP: Use a measuring spoon instead of regular spoon.

    Try my mom’s. She’s Japanese.
Cook the ramen and set aside.
Cook spam slices and set aside.
Stir fry shredded cabbage, shredded carrots and some bean sprouts about 2 min. Add spam, noodles, and 1-2 of seasoning packets to taste and a bit of soy sauce. It’s so good!

I was skeptical about this but I love noodles for breakfast so thought I would give it a try. I used a few dashes of cayenne instead of red pepper flakes and used only a small spoon of brown sugar and added oyster sauce. The egg is perfect in here. I wish I wasn’t out of green onions because that would really give it the final flavor. I will make this often and use up all the packs of ramen I have that I don’t like the packet flavor of! Thanks for sharing :)

Basically -- just add stuff to your ramen and keep tweaking till you find what you like. It'll make it a LOT better. I have a few variations I like myself... sometimes I use different sauces: pesto alfredo, thai peanut butter, and a garlic oil one. Also I mix it up with toppings, a frozen vegetable mix bag really works (corn is great w/ ramen) if you're on a budget + eggs. Also spices & fats completely change the flavor profile. Can also replace the water with stock or a dilution mix. I like 1/2 chicken miso stock + 1/2 oiled water (just a small bit of garlic oil) w/ whatever toppings I fancy at the time.

    Ingredients
    1 pack of Ramen Noodles
    1 Tbsp Butter
    1 Tbsp garlic
    1/2 Tbsp Red chili flakes
    3 Tbsp soy sauce
    1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
    15 ml water
    1 egg
    Directions;
    - Heat up a pan (low and slow)
    - Make Ramen noodles
    - Slowly make the sauce starting with the butter and slowly adding all the ingredients listed above.
    - Add the noodles
    - Add and egg

Been making something similar for decades. First punch holes in a ramen noodle pack and crush noodles inside the packet into smaller bits. Boil noodles in just enough fluid to cover plus contents of included spice packet and a spoon of mild curry powder. Scramble an egg in a pan and add noodles plus water when egg is ready. Add any of chopped tomato, chives, chopped chillym crushed garlic or soy sauce to the mix. Simmer until nearly all liquid has evaporated and noodles become sticky. Serve on slices of toast and season to taste including ketchup. Serves 2 people.

Whenever I add the soy sauce and water it just starts to burn and splash so intensely for me. Am I doing something wrong or what?💀

Brown sugar and soy sauce pretty much make kecap manis, which is essential to Indonesian mi goreng. This is pretty much just mi goreng.

Not sure what I think about this. Too much brown sugar and soy sauce. I like the eggs in it though. I could also add slivered steak or pork and it'll be a great meal.
