    I worked in Dewhurst the Butchers in Nun Street. Just outside. From 1970 until 1973 as a Saturday boy. Sid Nichol was the manager. ( Fantastic Man ) Weekend it was packed. Even before Corvid 19 it's like a ghost town. Sad to see it like that. Best years of my life spent there.

    I started as a butcher boy it Dewhursts in Nun Street just outside the market in 1972. Great area some real characters in and around the market

    i loved the grainger market . it was a real market . great place . they may have cleaned it up and made it a lot more posh but its killed the atmosphere. so sad .

    Love to know if ya have any photos of W. Robisons Bookshop :) I worked there for a few years & would love to see any photos of staff just to see my old workmates around the 1970's Cheers
