The thing I love most about this movie is that it doesn't say "traditions are outdated" or "modern methods have no soul." Nobody's right or wrong, it's about the pitfalls of relying on either exclusively. It's something that we can apply to so much of the real world.
One of the greatest and most underrated Christmas movies ever, and one of Sony and Aardman's greatest masterpieces. I love how British it is, it's take on Santa Claus lore, the way is handles the technology vs tradition arguement, and the strong family element. Also, Bryony is a super underrated character.
Hahaha! The theory about Steve’s ‘boyfriend’ is excellent head cannon. Happy someone’s setting the record straight about those are female reindeer, wish it was common knowledge. Your reactions are always great, and this was a fun one to choose. The narwhal song brought me back to high school.
I really don’t think grandsanta was being sexist when he said that line about women reading because he was trying to encourage Arthur to do what he thought was impossible. During the pre Victorian times it was thought the women couldn’t read, they weren’t given the education necessary because they were more often than not looked down upon or they were poor. So I think grandsanta was not only trying to encourage Arthur: “They thought this was impossible and that definitely wasn’t true.” I think he also proved that he’s at least older than the Victorians. I love this movie.
This movie is a straight up masterpiece. You don't just get santa but you get the entire family as the main cast and learn about all this unique and interesting lore about the family from generations. It's really unfortunate not many talk about this film anymore but this is one of the better more recent Christmas movies to come out.
After she mentioned "I hate when aliens are used to extend plots" I just thought of Bolt and that funny little bit where they make fun of that exact thing. Great movie if you haven't seen it!
I love love love this movie. As ornery as he is, grand Santa is still one of my favorite characters. He's a cranky old man and he has some of the best lines. I still quote "sock full a sand to the head" to my wife all the time
Massiv thanks to Anex for editing this for me!!!! I am trying to update the description but it wont let me while the live premiere is airing LOL Check Anex out here: www.twitch.tv/anexenspirit
This is my family’s favorite Christmas movie; we watch it every year. It’s such an underrated gem. Every time I see it the same jokes get me as much as they did the first time, I watched it. Great reaction!
It's always so sad that no one knows what I'm talking about when I say that "Arthur Christmas" is my favorite Christmas movie. Now I know that one more person has appreciated this masterpiece! 😊
I don't know why, I just had a feeling you were gonna react to this movie. I absolutely love it. The humor, animation, characters, themes and heart are all phenomenal; I always get teary-eyed at the end when everyone converges at Gwen's house.
Saw this film for the first time when I was flying home during the holidays to visit my family. I liked it so much that I knew I wanted to watch it with them when I arrived. Its one of my favorite holidays films to watch because of how cute (and real) the family dynamic is. I'm glad you liked it too. ^^
This has to be one of the craziest Christmas movies that I've ever seen, and I wouldn't have ever seen it if you hadn't reacted to it. So, thanks for expanding my horizons!
Btw, this movie was made by aardman animation, the wallace and gromit guys. Theyre a studio based in bristol which is why everything they make is VERY brittish
Arthur’s Christmas is definitely my favorite Christmas movie because it’s definitely different from most Christmas movies.Instead of the usual sleigh and goofy looking elves, it’s a giant red space ship looking sleigh and the elves look super cool. They turned a sweet innocent moment of Santa going down a chimney into a stealth ops, and I really thought that was awesome.
This is actually one of my favorite Christmas movies. I also love Miracle on 34th street. And there's this Christmas special based on my favorite comic strip For Better or for Worse and its called Christmas Angel.
We call the Christmas Market the German Market in the West Midlands (or at least where i’ve lived in the West Midlands. Last time I went I decided to buy something at Greggs instead because everything was so overpriced!
My favorite reindeer is Rudolph. I think anyone who is kinda outcast would know how Rudolph feels. I've even made a character inspired by the story of Rudolph and favorite Christmas movie is the 1998 version of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Anyway, Happy Holidays to anyone who reads this! Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!
My mother and I were watching favorite short movies. "Disney Prep & Landing" and "Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice" and "Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa"
Happy to say I’m watching on Christmas Day. Merry Christmas. Loving the way both you and I agree with a fair amount of the points Steve makes. Fully agree, Santa is pretty much useless. Loved your reaction to this and agreeing with the logic the movie sets up right at the start and they continues adding onto. The world building they made here is brilliant. Without a doubt, Bryony is the great, the scene on the boat is hilarious.
I love the original Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life, The 1951 Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim (the best version in my opinion) and Love Actually.
I think a lot of people misinterpret the line about teaching women to read. Grandsanta isn’t being a misogynist, he’s responding to Arthur saying “isn’t this impossible?” And grandsanta said “they used to say it was impossible to teach women to read” he’s saying that just because people think something is impossible doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try because maybe they’re just as wrong now as they were then
This is, honestly, the movie that made me want glitterpens Question: Have you ever seen polar express? If so, have you ever seen any of the madagascar movies? (Or holiday specials, and the spin off movie?)
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. Here's something incredibly crazy and incredibly cool that might make your day just a little better. There's a Twitch streamer that uses a headset device to play video games with their mind.
Hey welass reacts I love your channel I’ve been watching for a while now. Also my favorite movie is probably Rudolph the red nosed reindeer(cuz it’s cute 😊) , elf is another and a Christmas carol. A lot of movies were great.
25:11 Where the hell is Rudolph The red nose reindeer, theses last few Christmas movies I’ve seen lately and had Santa and his reindeers, I’ve seen no Rudolph at all, How dare they, Did people forget about him or something, Can Someone write Justice For Rudolph to anyone who sees this comment 😂😂😂
Rudolph was made up for an advertisement book years ago, and is therefore not obligatory to be canon. Either that is why he isn't in this movie, or he died of old age before any of these Santas took the mantle. It does show multiple generations of Santa before the ones we follow here.
This is Wellington.🧐 Happy Christmas. Thank you. This is my First Scottish Christmas. I keep Re watching this. Um, ....Arthur's Christmas seems...sort of...English to me. I don't know why. Well.... it doesn't have a Full On Father Christmas. So I guess it's different. Kris Kringel's got his work cut out for him eh?
The thing I love most about this movie is that it doesn't say "traditions are outdated" or "modern methods have no soul." Nobody's right or wrong, it's about the pitfalls of relying on either exclusively. It's something that we can apply to so much of the real world.

I hope more movie reaction channels watch this criminally underrated gem! If not this Christmas, the next.
Oh my God you again I have seen you on a lot of other reactors and vtuber channels, I love ya comments full of interesting info.

My absolute FAVORITE christmas movie. The sheer wit of the comedy is what keeps me coming back to see it each year.

This is one of my favourite Christmas movies and really underappreciated in my opinion. It's so cool that you're watching this, man!😊
There's something really fun to see you watching an Aardman movie. Also, I've never seen you go... THAT Scottish at 23:18.
After she mentioned "I hate when aliens are used to extend plots" I just thought of Bolt and that funny little bit where they make fun of that exact thing. Great movie if you haven't seen it!

My favorite Christmas movie! I love the subtle animation and character and emotion work. The family relationships carry the movie so hard.
Maybe next year or this year if you have time you HAVE to watch Klaus as well for Christmas!! Best Christmas movie ever it made me cry so much!
I've sadly already seen it ;.;
@@WeeLassReactshaha yep sorry just reached that part of the video I commented this before it came out, anyways have a happy holidays!!
I love Klaus. Sadly not many reactions for it on UA-cam.
"It's impossible, unless you're Elijah, to be nice 100% of the time" 😂😂
44:28
Considering how they’re magical enough to where the grandfather can live to be over 130 years old I feel like this is actually pretty plausible
This has to be one of the craziest Christmas movies that I've ever seen, and I wouldn't have ever seen it if you hadn't reacted to it. So, thanks for expanding my horizons!

Aw sweet! Arthur Christmas is probably my favourite Christmas film. It's so cool you reacted to it!
I still find myself saying “Whoopee doo” every time there’s something I’m not excited about doing or going to. I love this movie.
A really fun reaction to such a great movie. And thank you for pointing out the specifics of female reindeer. That's good to know!
I feel Grand-Santa and Grunkle Stan would get along.
Such an underrated gem!!! Thank you did this video Mosco! Much luv💕
the elves in this movie were inspired by prep and landing, which is another animated Christmas work i would suggest you check out!
AAAA FINALLY ONE OF MY FAVES WATCHES IT!!!!
Love the spider Christmas sweater.❤❤❤
4:52 "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" would be a great movie for next Christmas' reaction. Ho Ho Ho😂
🎅🎄👽
Definitely one of my favorite Christmas movies 💚💚💚💚
This is my favourite Christmas movie ever!!
I used to be hyperfixated with this movie as a kid. Not a Christian anymore but it's still one of my favourite Xmas movies. Happy holidays everyone!
This is actually one of my favorite Christmas movies. I also love Miracle on 34th street. And there's this Christmas special based on my favorite comic strip For Better or for Worse and its called Christmas Angel.
I absolutely LOVED this film as a child
This is one of my favourite christmas movies!! i’m so glad you’re watching it :D
23:13 But he said that it WAS possible?
We call the Christmas Market the German Market in the West Midlands (or at least where i’ve lived in the West Midlands. Last time I went I decided to buy something at Greggs instead because everything was so overpriced!
I've been waiting for more people to react to this masterpiece. Great video
Such a nice and creative movie! Merry Christmas, Mosco!
I can’t believe you’re watching my favourite Christmas movie! It’s so good and more people need to see it
I’m really looking forward to this because RARELY anyone watches this
Favorite reindeer was 'You old bag of bones' who carred through Eve' for the final stretch.
Yesss! One of the best Christmas movies, and hardly anyone knows about it. Let alone react to it. Thank you!
Anyone noticed how her accent is the same as the elf that goes on the journey ?!?!
Everyone has their Christmas movie that they need to watch or it's not right. For me, it's this movie and Muppets Christmas Carol.
My mother and I were watching favorite short movies. "Disney Prep & Landing" and "Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice" and "Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa"
This movie is my dad and I’s Christmas tradition, I love this movie so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yassss🎉
PLEASE watch "Klaus" for Christmas this year!!! It's such a good Christmas movie, it will leave you in tears
Unaccompanied minors is my favorite underrated Christmas movie
Arthur christmas and Klaus are the only christmas movies i care about
My favorite Chtistmas film I have the same jumper as Arthur
Can't help but think of what Mosco said about the alien plot. Wonder what she thinks of Worlds End!
Yay I caught the premiere!!
(( 🎄 )) a charlie brown Christmas, this is and will always be my number 1 favorite holiday cartoon to watch.
Happy to say I’m watching on Christmas Day. Merry Christmas. Loving the way both you and I agree with a fair amount of the points Steve makes. Fully agree, Santa is pretty much useless. I love the original Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life, The 1951 Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim (the best version in my opinion) and Love Actually.
Because of the Santa Clause movies, I think my favorite Reindeer is Comet.
One of the most forgotten movies for the holidays is life and adventures of santa claus
There’s always time for a bow!
Ohhh, I have that jumper! Good choice 😅
I think a lot of people misinterpret the line about teaching women to read. I always saw it that Peter was sucking up to the future boss, but maybe you're right and he has a crush on steve XD
She became angry mimir for a second there
This movie is truly a master piece. I also have a movie request for you, it’s called Klaus and it’s really good. 😊
My favorite holiday movie ever!
I leave my Christmas lights on at night.
23:25 didn’t he say it was possible?
Yeah, what he said is true, people used to think that women shouldn't read, but of course it was never imposible
I Love this movie, so wholesome
I love the reaction! I love this movie too much!
OH MY GOD, I forgot about this movie 🍿
My favorite Christmas movies are Rare Exports, Krampus, and Die Hard 2.
You sound so much like the elf in the film
I think there was a spinoff of this but just with the elves. Forget the movie's name.
This is, honestly, the movie that made me want glitterpens
Question:
Have you ever seen polar express? If so, have you ever seen any of the madagascar movies? (Or holiday specials, and the spin off movie?)
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. Here's something incredibly crazy and incredibly cool that might make your day just a little better. There's a Twitch streamer that uses a headset device to play video games with their mind.
This movie is so good and I love your sweater. Where did you get it?
This was a cute movie. 😁❄
You should also check out Rise of The Guardians.
Ms. Lass, would you consider reacting to the Netflix animated film Klaus? If you haven't yet, that is? Have a feeling it's right up your alley 😉
WOOT I love this movie
I love this movie, just a cute movie with really satisfying animation in my opinion:)
You need to watch That Christmas
Off topic but if you haven’t seen it already I would recommend megamind it’s a very funny movie

You've got your Hamish coo for emotional support and a good Spider Woman Sweater.
Happy Hogmanay Ya Weee Lass. I just saw the Edinburgh mass pipes and drums a few minutes ago. Happy Hogmanay!
Is that Hamish's little brother sitting under him?
I swear that Ms. Clause is the only competent one in that family
i am old. so !. White Christmas, 2. The Nativity Story and #. The Santa Clause with Tim Allen
Idk y but Grandsanta and his reindeer (who I think is supposed to be Rudolph) reminds me of Wallace and Gromit
23:18: 😂
I like this movie
I always make an effort to watch Christmas Vacation, Bad Santa and Die Hard. Not sure what that says about me as a person. 😅
That's cool. Thinking of reacting to any other Aardman stuff?
Prancer because my friend has a dog named Prancer
Will you be reacting to Klaus or Poplar Express?
She's already seen Klaus.
@@brodycaldwell9678 I searched for Klaus in her playlist, but nothing appeared.
You should watch Klaus
