You're out here helping people understand how to prepare safely and plan their lives. Thanks for what you do.
If you every forecaster was this smart with no hype it would be awesome. Thank u Levi. You are a true professional 😊
I just want to say thank you for all your in-depth analysis in every video you publish! You have no doubt saved lives!
Never clicked on a video so quickly!!!!
Same
Lol, it's all speculation until Levi appears.
Thanks as always from the Bahamas. When I was living in spain back in 2018 my dad sent me to your blog so I could better alleviate my storm anxiety with your forecasts and better understand storm systems. Really appreciate your informative succinct videos.
Hear hear!
Excellent work as usual. I live in the Miami area and have been watching your channel for as long as I can remember. Always full of facts and no hyperbole.
Been waiting on this. Lee is almost certainly going to be a beast. Hopefully it stays off shore.
I was hoping for a East Coast landfall :(
A cat 4-5 on the east coast? Why would you wish that kind of devastation on anyone? SMH
@@shellyj1975 obviously he’s just an adolescent troll. Ignore him.
@@ryanranard5187 how about no eat cost land fall?
🗣Repent Israelites all praise to the most high YAHAWAH AND HIS SON YAHAWASHI🤴🏽🦁🛸🔥
The so called black man, Latino, and Native Americans are the Israelites. Yahawah chosen people. That are scattered in all nations through our fathers. Making them Israelite foreigners/Scattered sheep/The multitude
Yahawashi speaking: Matthew 15:24
“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Deuteronomy 7:6 “For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth
Isaiah 14:1
“For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
Isaiah 14:2
“And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.”
2 Esdras 6:9
“For Esau is the end of the world, and Jacob is the beginning of it that followeth.”
Thank you Dr. Levi for such a precise forecast. I really love all the attention to detail you put into these forecasts. I also have to say that since I live on the west coast of Florida your coverage and predictions for Idalia were spot on and helped tremendously. Thanks again for these videos
Whenever Tropical Tidbits marks on, it is time to take notice. As always, thank you, Dr. Levi.
Thank you Dr.Cowan. I trust no one but you. Your forecast are always the best. As always, you are my hurricane guru and should be running the NHC !!! Levi for president !
I just really appreciate your expertise Dr. Cowan! Thank you!
Living in Puerto Rico, we appreciate your expertise immensely!
I had the feeling this particular storm was going to be huge. Thank you so much!
Things I miss about living on the NC coast and things I don't.
Thanks for looking through all this and posting about it, Levi ... I could do this myself, but I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to get to your website or the Doc's YCC group yet.
I'm hopeful the models don't present us with an unpleasant surprise on Sunday morning ... have hurricane prep plans shortlisted and praying I won't need them ... LOL ....
Anytime hurricanes go up the east coast towards the northeast they always have a problem with track and get it wrong a lot of times… sooo if it gets close we will see
As a longtime Floridian, as soon as I hear mumblings about “the next hurricane”, I come here. Always easy to digest. Such a huge help. Thanks AGAIN!
Thank you.
I've been using your Tropical Tidbits for years and it's very accurate.
Good morning Levi
Thank you for all you do
Have a bless day ❤
Appreciate mentioning turks and caicos, we here are keeping an eye on this!
Indeed .... we need no Lee to the lee ....
love you man all the way back as a kid in alaska you were the bomb of tropical forecasting so proud of you now as phd man ...the bomb thanks for all the great work and love in forecasting you bring to us all tirelessly and humanly...just love ya
I've been waiting patiently🙏
After years of using your products I just found your channel! Thank you for the info 😊
Thanks levi
Started soft prepping in NJ. Checking batteries, flashlights/lanterns, etc. If something's broken I'd rather replace it now instead of when something is due.
I'm reminded of Henri which made for a very noisy night as it cruised by before making landfall in RI
Not bad plan I'm south in obx
@@ljhoats Before Sandy I had to go to four different stores looking for D batteries. I never want to do that again lol
Everyone on the East should I live in VA and I’m starting as well
Interesting, I just called my friend in Trenton and told him to do the same. I live in Florida, but I'm praying that Lee remains out at sea. Still, it's probably best for everyone on the east coast to be prepared.
@@kattmilk i honestly hope it stays at sea but for some reason I feel we might have a problem. Hopefully I’m overthinking.
Thank you. I was waiting for your update.
Thank you for a report without lies image modifications or fear mongering. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you so much for your detailed explanations. You are greatly appreciated.
Thanks again Dr. L. for an insightful breakdown! 👏👏👏
Dr Levi you are the best in the game. Thanks for your educating and informative reports.
Thanks Levi from the EM community
Thank you so much Dr. Cowan!! i was just waiting for your updates. 🤞🤞🙏
Thanks Levi... Amazing how fast the computer models predicted that Lee would curve northward away from US coastline about 7 days out..
Your website is awesome.
Thanks Dr Cowan, from the Mississippi gulf coast.
Thank you, sir! Have a great rest of the week… ✌️
Love the reports. Thank you
Keep up the good work!
Thanks again for your assessment!
TS Lee definitely looks like its going to be a monster Hurricane come late this weekend and Early Next Week. Some of the Hurricane Models show Lee having a pressure of 898MB which 100% a strong category 5 Hurricane. I hope this recurves out to sea and doesn't make landfall along The East Coast.
If it does hit the east coast, the devastation would be massive
Thank you Dr.
Thanks Levi!!!💜🌀
Thank you Dr levi
Thanks!
Thank you Levi! 💙
Thank you Doc!!!!
Praying from Florida's SE coast that it will remain a fish storm! Irma was erratic and hard to predict as well.
A Jolly good Honest assessment of this storm,,,, Jolly good show
Thank you for the weather updates in the carribean 🌎🇵🇷🏝🌀⚡️🌪🌊🌩😲 have a great day thank you
Nice video, thanks.
8:01 Surely, this must be music to Bahamians' ears after experiencing Dorian not so long ago!
You ain't a lie .... kml
But still watching, tho' ... things can change between now and Sunday ...
‼️‼️ still nervous
Thx Doc
Thanks
Thank You.
Thank God, from the best weatherman anywhere!!!
Good thing it’s not going to hit Florida. No worries here. It will put on quite a show though. Prayers for anyone in harm’s way if any.
Definitely scary
He said BULLISH!
My man!
Levi I subscribe to ya but not sure exactly where lol but thank you for you evaluation and detailed explanation. Anyone can be trained to look at the same links but an educated explanation in meteorology is key. Thanks!
Impressive outflow this early on.
12Z Euro is about 5 deg east of the 00Z run at day 10 (69.5W at 12Z vs. 71W at 00Z). Trending farther away from the U.S. Good chance of Lee reaching Cat 5 in 2-3 days. By day 8-9 as it passes west of Bermuda, it may be quite a bit larger, but also quite a bit weaker.
The end of the 12z Euro shows Lee moiving Northwest towards the coast and then the run ends
Thank you, for future reference Anguilla is probounced more like Angwilla....like Godzilla.
I've been told at least 2 different pronunciations so I always butcher it - sorry!
@@Tropical-Tidbits I grew up in St Croix and only ever heard it pronounced the one way. Thank you for all you do. Your weather analysis is second to none.
facts 🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮
Retrace Florence!! It was tracking this was then shifted S/W a few clicks and came right on in
More frequent updates please ! 160 mph storm and no update in 2 days ???
No immediate land impact. Therefore no need for frequent updates
We're tracking it.
I would hate to try to model the Jet Screams.
I see many claiming it's trending more southwest now with an increasing likelihood of an east coast landfall - is this valid?
It's way way way to soon to tell.
Right turn please Lord.
Nothing but the facts , mam.
Same set up ,when sandy hit...big ?
Levi. I want more of your info!
He has a website.
I live in PEI and this storm is stressing me out. Fiona was really bad last year. I do not want to be here if Lee is going to hit Atlantic Canada. I guess all we can do at this point is keep an eye on it. If it did hit Atlantic Canada how strong would it likely be at that point?
Really hard to tell right now ... maybe by Sunday we'll have a better idea, but it could potentially be strong.
TIIIIIIIIIIID!!!!!!
A genarally favourable main development region in an El Nino year, something not adding up.
Andrew happened in an El Nino year ...
Lee always looked like a fish storm to me, id only worry for bermuda and canada
But new england and SE Atlantic landfallstorms have the most complicated set ups so the complicated aspect is a new england flag
Herberts box..
Looks like a fish storm❤watch out fish
Too early to say that.
We’re in Connecticut, what chance do you think that this storm has at staying more west as it creeps up the coast and plowing head on into New England as the biggest hurricane that we’ve ever seen?!?!?
It's far too early to know whether New England will be threatened at all. It's always good to monitor hurricanes like this just in case they get too close, but we have at least a week to watch this thing before it even makes its final turn
I’m no expert but I feel like there’s no way a strong cat 4 is just gonna make a sharp turn like the models suggest
5?😢
Is there anything that could affect the subtropical jet? If the subtropical jet was reduced in any way what would that mean for the path of the storm? Could that allow it to steer west?
The STJ is affected by many things, but the key point here is that its position and strength across the southern US in the models is not some small detail. Rather, it's a pretty large feature (continent-scale), and as a rule of thumb, it's easier to forecast larger features, so currently there's little reason to doubt this aspect of the model forecasts. This is one reason why models are basically unanimous that a northward turn east of Florida will occur.
Thank you for your reply!
"Ah-knee-gah-da" Anegada
I see it a little south just saying!
anyone else think it has a chance to hit NC?
Yes I just said the Carolinas and Va should prepare I’m in Va
Please no. We’ve dealt with enough this year here in Nova Scotia. Do not want.
Wil it affect us in Caribbean Trinidad
Ha!
outside chance it turns into another "sandy".
Jesus. 165mph sustained predicted and I didn’t hear a single meteorologist say curve harmlessly out to sea yet.
They must be pulling their hair out.
Superstorm sandy 2.0 incoming
People like you should be locked in a basement, away from the internet.
Good thing my won’t get hit
You're like the John Madden of weather.
Hi could u please put CC on. I am hard of hearing. Ty. Very good reporting. Ty for no hype. Have a good day🌀😁👍
You should be able to enable auto-generated CC in your UA-cam app by tapping on the video then CC in upper right corner. If you're on a computer the CC button is on the bottom right
Could it hit the US coast?
Maybe. Something to watch from South Carolina to Canada
@@Distress. So the Atlantic side of Florida is not in danger?
Have you been paying attention to the video?
@BetelgeuseM12 I lived on the Atlantic side of Florida for 16 years, the year I moved to Virginia hurricanes came through Florida. I didn´t experience a hurricane the entire time I lived in Florida, even after moving back to the Atlantic side. I moved to Ecuador in January 2013, but I have kinfolk in Beverly Beach, Fl. .
Yes. This Lee stroke Fla but these wethermen no tell day!!
But, but the weather noobs on Twitter keep saying it's 100% ots and want effect any land at all
Leeward is pronounced LEW WARD
Not everywhere. Some people - many people - pronounce it LEE ward.
@@k.c1126even ppl in the Caribbean pronounce it (Lee-Ward)
Looks like a fish storm
an-gwill-ah, not angeeya... ok?
You may compare number of disasters happens in Ukraine or Russia with what happens in US.

Oh not liking this
I hope it hits fl
