Good morning Brian, I'm in Grand Cayman right now and we're having lots of wind and rain. Some of the island is without power, but we seem to be okay for now. Waiting for the storm to pass to assess damage to our property and our neighbour's properties. We lost at least one tree in our yard that, thankfully, didn't fall on anyone's house when it came down. Thank you again for your updates and keeping us informed this hurricane season!

Good morning from Belize 🇧🇿. We had a very dry and clear day yesterday, Wednesday, which gave everyone a chance to get supplies and secure their homes and property. Ports were closed on Wednesday and the International Airport remains open today. The northern districts are on high alert and most businesses and offices were closed since midday yesterday. We had plenty winds and a pretty decent day yesterday. Heavy rains last night along the coast and after sunrise this morning. We are grateful for this update that puts much of Belize out of harm's way. Wishing our sister nations a speedy recovery and our neighbour to the north safety to everyone in the path of the storm. Hi. Thànks for all your prayers. Where I am at in St. Andrew (Southern part) it wasn't severe. Couple trees blew down excessive rain and wind at times; intermediate breaks thou as if it was giving you time to fix or correct something. Praise be to God!!!. The heaviest of rain and wind started about 2: pm. At night about 7 - 8 pm the rain and wind pounded again. The electrical current was restored about 7:pm👏👏. Thanks to all🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏🙏

Isn't St. Andrew on the Eastern side of Jamaica? It devastated St. Elizabeth which is on the Southern side. Blocked roads, down utility poles, houses damaged, flooded homes etc. Still no electricity and no indication of anytime soon as poles are still across some roads

I must say, Beryl has been the most terrifying experience of my life.😳 Yet we are so incredibly thankful to God for sparing our lives and home.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 (Manchester Parish, Jamaica) Our neighbors' and their homes/property seem mostly unscathed - but a neighborhood shop lost it's roof and there is much debris (fallen trees, branch, etc.) scattered around. Considering the topography and severity of the hurricane, we are shocked that the entire landscape isn't flattened. We're still without power, but a HUGE thanks to you, Brian!❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Your weather foresight, wayyyy in advance, enabled us to mentally prepare as well as do other preparations, as best we could Sadly, I know many on our island didn't fare as well. I know some people have house damages and lot of mudslides and road blocks but thank God we have not heard of any loss of lives. We are truly happy it has passed. Praying for safety for my neighbors in the other countries its approaching.
A man lost his life while playing football in the rain yesterday. The gully water washed him away into some bushes. I also heard of one other death associated with the hurricane but I'm not completely clear on the circumstances.

Isn't St. Andrew on the Eastern side of Jamaica? It devastated St. Elizabeth which is on the Southern side. Blocked roads, down utility poles, houses damaged, flooded homes etc. Still no electricity and no indication of anytime soon as poles are still across some roads

Our neighbors' and their homes/property seem mostly unscathed - but a neighborhood shop lost it's roof and there is much debris (fallen trees, branch, etc.) scattered around.
Considering the topography and severity of the hurricane, we are shocked that the entire landscape isn't flattened.
We're still without power, but a HUGE thanks to you, Brian!❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Your weather foresight, wayyyy in advance, enabled us to mentally prepare as well as do other preparations, as best we could
Sadly, I know many on our island didn't fare as well. We'll see when an assessment is done.

I know some people have house damages and lot of mudslides and road blocks but thank God we have not heard of any loss of lives. We are truly happy it has passed. Praying for safety for my neighbors in the other countries its approaching.

A man lost his life while playing football in the rain yesterday. The gully water washed him away into some bushes. I also heard of one other death associated with the hurricane but I'm not completely clear on the circumstances.

Thank God for Life 90% of our electricity is restored on the mainland but our sister islands wasn't so lucky Carriacou and Petit Martinique 95% destroyed it's sad
Parts of my roof went but thank God for life.
We left Corpus Christi Texas for Laramie Wyoming best decision ever. Kids came to tell me about this could t be happier. Going without power for weeks for the littlest storm. God bless everybody in the path may y'all recover quickly.

We bless God for His mercies that we were not consumed but many on our island are out of work especially the fisher folks whose boats were destroyed😢.
