Nice video, man. I have a 24' Bison, and while the front bumpers are more friendly for lifts, then the standard ZR2 I'm going to do the 2.25 peak lift and run 35 m/t's. The reason I'm choosing this direction is because the factory spare tire mount will actually fit 35's underneath so I can have a full size spare.
I only have like 30% tread left on my 35's so I'm prepping for 37's, great video for the trimming advice. I did some minimal clearancing but it looks like I'm going to have to get aggressive with the cutting. For spacing you were talking about, luckily I have offset wheels so I should rub at all or get too close for the UCA's. I agree with you on the crash bar, by the time you need that in a crash you're going to have more problems to worry about than a tire trying to enter the cab lol
For 35's I had to remove the bracket underneath the wheel liner to get better clearance on my Trail Boss. I want to add 37's so bad but I can't get myself to remove the crash bar.
The 37s look sick! I just bought a Silverado ZR2 and am waiting on it to be delivered. I’m thinking of putting 34s on it with a 17” rim. I’m trying to stay away from having to do any trimming to make them fit. What do you think? It’s a stock 1500
I’m looking forward to throwing some 37s onto my Trailboss in the future since I’m currently running 35s at the moment but not sure if I am willing to make some structural and/or safety sacrifices for it. 😬
I'm doing the Peak 2.25 kit on an AT4x - I hope to run the factory wheels with a ZR2 2500 HD Territory M/T Tire - 305-70-18. Did your 35's fit with any rub? Thanks!
Any issues with reaching the end of the travel with the rear shocks? I’ve got a ‘23 AT4X that I’m seriously considering doing the same to. Came from a 5th Gen 4Runner with a 3.5” lift and 34’s and ran that on any trail so 37’s would pretty much allow me to do the same in the truck with the long tail end.
I have a GMC AT4X with the aev front bumper. Do you think 37's would clear that front bumper? They are alot shorter and more forward. I just would not want to cut it. I'd love to do 37's
I just ordered the 2.25" kit a couple weeks ago for my at4x with aev front bumper and then will be going with 35x12.50r17 Toyo R/T trail's along with a 17x8.5 or 17x9 0 offset so im hoping the trimming wont be anything crazy but ive read the at4x is more difficult for 35 12.50's than a silverado as far as fitment so we'll see.
In the future definitely look back on your footage and clip and edit the highlights that way you’re not repeating and is more organized with the process step by step
Maybe but if you’re going back to the dealer for any reason just put the stock wheels back on just in case haha. Me personally I wouldn’t risk it. Neither would i put the 37s on the OEM rim so it wouldn’t be too bad to switch em out if the stock wheels are ready to go.
@zr2chris22 thanks for the info! What offset wheel were you running when you ran 35x12.50? I only ask because I have a 23 at4x with aev front and want go get this peak kit in 2.25 along with method 18x9 -12 w 35x12.50 and trying to figure out how much trimming I'll need to do
One of the biggest disappointments gm put out. You had the trx and raptor going at it with supercharged racing v8’s and then you had this bs which was nothing better than an expensive trail boss with a 6.2l v8. THEY HAVE BOTH CAMARO AND CORVETTE TO GO TO FOR A SUPERCHARGED V8! what the fuck are we doing with a normal v8 in a top of the line off road truck while our two biggest competitors are dueling it out and laughing at us
Cool vídeo fríendly advice show the truck with the 37. I wanted to see how it looked on 37

Let me know how it goes. I have an at4x on the way and was thinking of putting 34s on em.
You should be ok with 34s even 35s if you have the right set up
I have 34’s on my 18 z71 w/2.5”level. Only rubs on max turn.
You have the best reliability leaving the truck stock period .
you have the best chance surviving a car accident by not driving a car at all.

I think you should be good

No issues in the rear what so ever.
@@zr2chris22 thanks dude 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Did you have to do the bumper cutouts for the 35s as well or just the 37s?
Depends on the set up
I wonder if the factory AEV steel bumper would save us from trimming so much
probably. I know the New ADD bumpers would require no cutting of the front just the crash bar to fit 37"
I want to do 35s but may go to 34s and smaller wheel..
Why didn't Chevy make extra space in front tire clearance.
Tell them that 🫤

IDK I was thinking about that when I was in the works with this. You can always try and see if someone lets to test fit 37s lol

I seen someone do it already and they did not have any issues fitting 35s @@meanmunchies

Did this void your factory warranty?
To my understanding this does not void factory warranty

Any issue with installing the add a leaf?
Just have to know what your doing and you should be all good.
I have a 2023. I was just wondering if there was any install issues or is it a direct fit? No modifications needed?
How big of a lift?
2.25”
What brand of side steps are those?

Bumpers in ur future?🤔🤔🤔😉😉
Hopefully soon! 😅
When you say 35s, is that 35x12.50 or like a 11.5 or less?
35x12.5

A 0 offset also, same as I have now with the 37s. That seems to work the best @@meanmunchies

Didn’t even show it with 37s except in the thumbnail for click bait. Dislike 👎🏼
You like to repeat yourself a lot
Ehhh. Too much in my opinion. My 35's with a 6" lift on my 21' is perfect. Minor trimming.
Talk more than show
No need for 37s. Overkill to the extreme.
Nope! There's no such thing as overkill
nah 40s would be nice won't even feel the whoops
That's boomer talk! Go even larger next time!
Anyone who says this, is just scared.
That looks awesome! Big difference in ground clearance
