Many reviewers are ditching the Horizon climbing game for being more of a tech demo than a game, but I don´t care. It´s incredible and one that I will be replaying over and over again just for the experience of being there. The climbing feel is outstanding, and as I don´t care much for the combat, it´s fine with me because, overall, the incredible landscapes and world immersion of Horizon are worthy of the VR2 price alone. And I actually LOVE the cinematic mode in VR2. I bought it mainly to watch movies with that cinema theater feel, and I was not disappointed. In fact, I was surprised at how good the resolution of VR2 is, compared to the blurry VR1 we had before. Even then, I loved the cinema experience, but now with VR2, I think it´s almost perfect. Playing 4k movies like 2001 Space Odyssey on this thing is unbelievable, or Blade Runner, Dune, or the classic Lawrence of Arabia is amazing. Okay, it´s not as if we are watching movies on 4k Tv... but... it´s close, and the enormous cinema screen and empty movie theater feel just for one person is reason enough for cinema lovers to get this VR2 thing even if they think they don't care to use it for games... Overall, this is a fantastic piece of tech, and I'm not disappointed with it, even at the price it costs.
Hey Luis, I think for the price this is a great piece of kit, and yes I agree I had quite a few "Wow" moments especially with Horizon Call of the Mountain... and RE8 Village. Just waiting for the next big game release, maybe the RE4 remake, Firewall Ultra etc ... Anything else you seen that looks good?
It’s not as fast paced as COD MW2 on the PS5 for example… but for a VR fps game in this genre the game mechanics are pretty solid, definitely worth a look for the $38 AUD price tag.
The game does have a steep learning curve due to all of the guns realistic reloading. But once you get paste that the game is soooo fun and addicting. You will not be disappointed. Oh and the community is for the most part fun and enjoyable.

I found Horizon and RE8 gave me only minor effects, so I could play for many hours without issue. Pavlov was in the middle, then GT7 and finally Mirage VR was the worst, unsurprisingly as your floating in a simulated water environments. Still everyone is different, so you need to try for yourself 😜

To be clear, it's not technically black-and-white but rather infrared; we'll never see it in color both by nature and by design because it's an infrared sensor, *not* a traditional camera lens outright. 🤷 Hold your phone up to it with the screen off, for example, & you'll likely see a blinking light, or a ring of lights around the Sense controllers when you're in a game yet you won't see those lights outside of the pass-through mode in the headset. Consequently, it's also a good way to detect hidden cameras in the same space.

If you've seen the Pico 4 VR headset, you'll know that color pass-through should become a standard feature in the future, but nonetheless this B&W / Greyscale / Infra-red option works great on the PSVR2. Did you pick one up?
@@frostfire_mage day 1. I loved the PSVR1 and my biggest gripe is the missing content on the PSVR2. I can show it off, but not nearly the same, especially for "casual" gamers like my girlfriend.

RE8 for me… as it’s a full game that’s surprisingly polished, Horizon a close second and GT7 third… but those are clear top 3 🤙🏻

I hadn't played RE8 at all before playing it in VR... certainly wasn't expecting that level especially... to be THAT terrifying
