bro can we add hard disk into it ?
from Pakistan.
@@howtoxpert1 Yes, you can install a 2.5" hard disk drive, you will need the connection ribbon to plug it in to the motherboard, and a rubber caddy so it does not wiggle around.
@@complex_variation it would be very appreciable if you suggest me a good HDD and its size.
@@howtoxpert1 Any recommendation will depend on your needs, in my case I used a 2.5" HDD from Western Digital I had, 500GB. It's enough for my needs, but you could do better with an SSD from Samsung, Crucial, SKHynix, they are very reliable brands.
@@complex_variation thanks boy.
Did hp 14 dk0156 has same slot pattern for add the ssd?
Thank you for the video, could you up the processor at the same time or is there a limit to this,i just thought to make good use of up grade you would need this to. your thoughts, and can this be done? Thanks again.
Upgrading cpu is not an option on this laptop. Thanks. Dale
great vid! I have a HP Notebook - 14-df0013ds which looks very similar to this one. Could i accomplish the same iwth this one, including adding a secondary 2.5 laptop drive? Thanks.
I read on Tom's hardware that this eMMC is soldered. So could I still add the 2.5 HDD or SATA SSD. Or should I just give up on this model and install a lightweight Linux?
I have hp 14-dk1025wm ryzen 3, can you make a video upgrade the hdd ?
Thank you for the very clear video. Just asking, which are the specs of the ddr4-sodimm you choose to upgrade the laptop? I'm stuck with 8 gigs ddr4-2400, and I was looking forward for some extra speed.
and 'bout the cpu, which ryzen is in?
Hi. I installed ddr4 2400 ram. 2 sticks of 16, 32 total. It's a ryzen 3 3200. Thx
@@CadillacComputerCenter same apu here. Could be a benefit using ddr4 2666 or higher?
Thx a lot
@@federicomacchini3680 that laptop won't go faster than 2400 of ddr4 ram that goes for almost anything unless it supports higher then that witch with laptops you get what you get
Thank you so very much!

Please include 32 gb dr4 chips information
Hi, I have hp 14-bp0xx
It comes with a SSD but I am wanting to add a second HDD that I have laying around. I've taken a look and there is space to add a 2.5" HDD, just wondering if you could help me out with what cables/enclosures I would need to get it working?
There's is space for a HDD but I can't see where to connect the drive.
@Bryan Campos you have the same laptop? I think I'm gonna use external hard disk instead
Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We’ll restart for you, I cloned the original drive to an m.2, put it in, added a 2.5 ssd, and replaced ram with 16gb 3600mhz crucial. I don’t know what could’ve went wrong
