Looks great! I like that knife!!!
Thanks, Mark!
My favorite potato salad because there is no mayo! I also like the French version too.
It is great for picnics too because it doesn't have mayo. Thanks for watching, Lorieann!
Hi Amy & Eric!!! I have never even tried this type of potato salad before. Of cource I have heard of it over all these years. I may give it a try one day. Looks yummy...Great Video!!!...🦋
Thank you DiDi.
Looks delish!😋😋😋
Thank you!
I grew up eating Hot mashed potato salad
Sounds good! Do you use the same process but mash them more?
@@AmyLearnsToCook yes I do
That l ooks yummy says this German bred mama :)
Thanks, Firefly!
Why don't you peel and slice the potatoes before boiling them? They cook quicker and you avoid them falling apart when slicing.
You can do that but it might take up more water and risk falling apart. If you use red potatoes, it might work better than these russets. I have overcooked them a few times and ended up switching to mashed potatoes lol
@@AmyLearnsToCook I like my potato to be firm and not soft like mush in potato salad so I don't cook them as long
Does anyone still make quiche?
I do! I love it!
Delicious - but no GERMAN potato salad!!
Greetings from Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪❣️
Yeah, it probably isn't real German potato salad. A lot of things get twisted up here in the US. But...in my defense, it is delicious! Thanks for watching, Muslmaus!
Looks very delicious Amy but a lot of potatoes 🥔 and why it’s German
Very tasty. You can make less if you need. We have enough for a few days.
Hi Mr. Alia! The method of using vinegar originated in southern Germany. It made its way to the US. It is delicious and a nice change from the traditional US mayo based potato salad. Thanks for watching!
