We've used Mavic Pro round ND filters with a printed ring to fill the gap, it's gotta be significantly lighter than that. How do you know the settings are right with the camera? And so if you get the complete camera kit you have to take the back off to solder the power wire on like you have there? Do you think it would have any problem with vibrations on an 8"? And I couldn't find any plans or pre-made mounts to attach to a quad'. I'm in Alaska & they won't ship to me so I'm having to find someone else in the lower 48 states to send it & forward it. Pretty annoying.
hi , do you know why gopro with bec has solid red light when powering to lipo. while its back to normal when i attach lcd and powering with gopro battery
Why wouldn't you just use the stock power connector & just cut or leave the record cable disconnected? I'm about to DryDrone mine & put it together. Can't I just use that normal plug in without using the transmitter record option?
Sure, you can do that if you want. I didn't have multiple copies of that plug so I used a different plug that I could use on multiple drones. That's why I didn't use it.
i have an adapter on thingiverse to mount the original gopro lens cover to the lens. very simple pressure fit. if your interested let me know ill send you the link.
I checked the links to buy the PCB board... but their pics show the 1.0 version... Anyone know where to get the updated 1.1 version? my 85x kit came with the 1.0 version
So i also have a build video on this product and I'm about to release flight fudge as well. I've crashed it 40+ times and it is holding up well. Its about 1/5 as strong but it's also 1/5 the wait. As along as you have it on a sub 100g drone it will be durable.
im flying it on a 5in and i havent had any issues at all. i dont understand why people think its weaker then the original. it has a carbon front, a tpu soft case around it. you can mount it in any kind of mount you want to give it way more protection. no screens to break. if the lens breaks you can easily replace it. i would like to argue its actually MORE durable then a normal hero 7.
If you crash it on something with little mass (what it's intended for), it should hold up OK. I've had many small crashes and it's just fine. Put it on a heavy five inch and it will probably die. But if you're flying a five inch, doing this mod is kinda pointless.
@@AlbertKimTV i fly more then just a 5 inch and i dont want multiple gopros, i dont have to ever worry about charging my gopro which is a huge pain in the ass, i can literally put a substantially bigger battery on my quad now and not worry about being heavy. and again i dont understand why people are insisting its weaker. i cant wait to post a crash reel to show how durable it actually is if you put it in a good mount.

yes would love a design that takes the cheap stick on light camera butter nd!
is it possible to keep the GPS module?
Great update, Albert!!

Could you link to the "CameraBetter" ND filters? I think you make an excellent point about the weight of the nd filters. Thanks!
'camerabutter' not better. rdq carries them, not sure if I can paste I link or not
I have one, works well
I'll be trying these out soon and will make an adapter for it - bit.ly/2B4Iwzh

It's probably not making a solid connection. Try re-aligning it and attaching it again.
@@AlbertKimTV thanks for reply! will check that man

@@AlbertKimTV Oh I see, thanks.
What happen if i use black sticker or black thin hard sponge around that ND filter mount? Functionally just like the white 3dprint?
That could also work.
Hey looks mutch better.. I think best Nd filter solution is Dji maverick 2 zoom Nd filter with adapter to GoPro 🖐️🤤
Grate update video! I hope one day my videos will be on par with you. The mavic 2 zoom ND filter is the way to go. I'll have a video on it soon.
Did you mean mavic 2 zoom filter?
hi! excuse me, but this adapter is okay for the betafpv v2 case?
Not compatible

I have my own on thingiverse under username "marblekit"

I'm pretty sure v1.1 is shipping now. I got the v1.1 a short time after the v1.0. Functionally there's no difference, you just need the shims on v1.0
Visited the site a few times, but the complete kit seems to always be "sold out"
Getting the GoPro itself is difficult
Can we ship a hero 6 and get it modded into the complete kit?
@@Bannisterpost email them! It's worth a shot!
I had a good hard look at this, but I'm not convinced it's going to hold up with how I prefer to fly. Any comments about it's crash survivability?
