I know it really borders on psychological horror, but I’d personally love a game with Jill as the protagonist and her journey sees her struggle with her PTSD where maybe her environment or some viral infection causes her to hallucinate that ghosts of her past like Albert Wesker and Nemesis both try to break her mentally and Jill’s gotta let them go while duking it out with the culprit behind it all
@@animatedink2529 I think the death Island protagonists and Billy Coen should return and they all have PTSD from the early days of raccoon city and how they fear getting older, and more horrifying experiences happen than before. Billy can speak to Chris, Leon, Claire and Jill about his downfall when he was in the military and was a wanted felon and how his ptsd was when he was partners with Rebecca.

Personally, I think Natalia would make the best villain going forward. She was practically raised by our protagonists. Imagine the conflict that would ensue when the main villain is considered family. Build her up in upcoming games, have her encounter each of our protagonists, show she's as dangerous as Albert or worse, and conclude it with an epic showdown.

I say... Morgan Lansdale. He might still be alive, he was arrested after the events in the Queen Zenobia, and is definitely thirsting for some juicy revenge against Jill, Chris, and O'Brian. If not Lansdale, it could be Either Raymond Vester or Jessica Sherawat. Both of which are tricell agents that wasn't involved in 5, so it's possible they're still kicking.
I think about the villains that I think are appropriate to face in the next series, namely several organizations that have been labeled as corrupt, including the BSAA or maybe even other organizations like Tera Save, DSO, maybe even the worst possibility, namely the American government itself. But if we talk about new villains who are definitely not original villains, I would rather have good characters but become anti-heroes (or in other words quasi-villains). And in my opinion, what is appropriate for that is between Leon and Chris. I'm sure you will not agree with my opinion, including some of you who are big fans of these two characters. But come on, of all the main protagonists of this Resident Evil series, one of them deserves to have their story journey end in the sense of retiring from this Resident Evil series.

I always thought a game about exploring an old, abandoned Umbrella facility would be cool. Like imagine exploring the NEST after it had been abandoned for a few decades. I think that was an idea for Resident Evil 2 could be good for a new game.

What if they went with a more cyberpunk approach? Think Altered Carbon. Where your soul/brain is downloaded into other bodies for example. Would Resident evil work with cyberpunk elements? I think it could. Wesker used technology to brainwash Jill
This is not what I think they will do because maybe it’s too basic and easy to see coming but what I would actually enjoy is if it is Spencer in Albert Wesker’s body. That way we get the fun Wesker boss battle and nostalgia without writing off his initial death, it sort of ties in the concept of making the Wesker children in the first place if Spencer just wants to use their body to replace his old one. Could use a clone body of Albert but I’d rather it be Spencer “infected” Wesker when he was punched through in 5 dlc and that “somehow” is how his body is brought back after the volcano death.
I think Mother Miranda should return somehow . Umbrella reemerges and starts to undermine/ attack miranda while leon and company are caught in the middle of this battle. Leon and his crew should be focused on getting in and out while miranda and umbrella battle eachother. I would love to see tyrants fight Miranda's monsters
I think the next villain could a high ranking guy from the new bio terror organization Communication. Let’s hope this time they can gradually build up the reputation of the leader of Communication. I also hope this leader won’t end up ridiculously like Simons. Your theory of Spencer being the villain in RE 9 is not so convincing to me because it lacks the process of building up. Although Spencer at least has two methods to respawn: upload his mind to another body or simply clone another him, this still lacks the build-up process. Logically, it’s possible for Spencer to respawn by using those two methods, but the lack of the build-up process will make his appearance in the new RE games awkward. If Capcom really wants to bring back Spencer, they need to build this up through at least two new RE games. The process will be like giving the players some obvious hints or letting Spencer connect with the new stories in the new RE games.
Maybe the Red Queen should become the final villain, I know she is from the movie series which people don't view as anything more than a fanfic, but from what I learn she became canon in The Umbrella Chronicles, would be an interesting twist to have an AI as a main antagonist in a RE game

Also, an evil clone of Claire Redfield should also be a villain (reminiscent of her secret outfit in Resident Evil: Code Veronica in the Battle Mode). Jill Valentine, Ada Wong, Claire Redfield, Rebecca Chambers, Leon Kennedy, Barry Burton, and Chris Redfield should all return here.

Wesker bout ain't even dead fr. Neither of those rockets actually hit him and the lava didn't seem to bother him at all. Plus, Chris and co. didn't even wait a second to confirm he was dead before they just flew off so there's that.
