I would think my mom deserves to know. I’d want to know so I’d do the same for anyone else. Honesty is always the best policy

Mom knows. This probably isn't a one time thing. So long as she thinks the kids don't know, she can stay. Once the kids know, she has to leave

Pops been out in them streets. And I bet Mom knows already of a few times. What I would curse Pops out about is doing it with your friend. I would curse the friends ass out too, she ain’t sliding with this.

It doesn’t matter if she was drinking? Yes, it does! He’d been hitting on her for months as she’d said no. He then tried to take advantage of her while she was not in a state to consent. Your dad’s a r*pist. So the drinking completely matters. He saw an opportunity to assault someone who had made it clear when sober she didn’t want it. So part of Sara’s issue is she’s traumatised and feels so much shame she can hardly handle talking about it. Common trauma response.

Still that was your soon-to-be husband and he should have told you from the very beginning. It should never been a secret for two years.

I'd go to the dad too but maybe not with any names because I *highly* doubt that was the first time he cheated/attempted to cheat ..probably just the first time he was caught .. if they mention the cheating to him but not the friend, he probably wont know which woman they're talking about, if they wanted to leave the friend out of this that is.

Yep, just told my husband while listening "it was her father".... and then Bert read it! She should just go straight to her mother. Skip the dad, he'll find a way to get around it or snake his way out of the truth.

I'd walk up to dad, just he and I, and ask how many times he'd cheated on mom. There's always that possibility that mom and him have already discussed it and smoothed things over, good bad or otherwise. I'd still approach it as though it unacceptable and that mom never found out. But I do also believe the infidelity wasn't a one time thing. Maybe with the bridesmaid, but overall, no

I think Sarah did the brave thing. She walked away. I am single. If I were tipsy and had a good looking man coming on to me, who had been coming on to me several times, I might have weakened. Liquor will draw you to stray. The father is guilty of aggression and threatening the groom. Sarah walked away trying to protect her friend.

You women always have an excuse that its never your fault its the alcohol then if u have such a low resistance heres an easy answer DONT FN DRINK AND LEARN THIS WORD THAT YOUR NEVER TOLD ITS NO! And what if the groom hadnt walked in on them u know as well as i shed have let him bone her awww poor sarah! Ya she was so brave.....please!

@@johnrencheck2283 OK my dude chill. You're exactly the kind of person who will be screaming 'not all men' but all women are like this? Please😂 talk about incel vibes... I don't agree that she was brave, she did a stupid thing... But at the end of the day, it is down to the person in the relationship to stay faithful, not the person who is single.... Its still a shitty thing to do, but she is certainly not the one to blame in this situation. A married man was coming on to her, hard and repeatedly, she should have said no, but ultimately it is on him. And before you start with more of the sexist shit, yes I would have exactly the same response if it was the mother of the bride with a groomsman. It would be her fault. This has nothing at all to do with anyones gender, you made it about that, which says a hell of a lot about you and projecting your own issues into unrelated situations.

The way she left was pretty rude. She could have made up an excuse and have told her after the wedding instead of leaving her hanging. And then having the audacity to get drinks with her two years later allude to what happened. She really put a lot of stress on her friend and her marriage.

@@BamBam-ss4egyou're right. She should have said no. End of story. Alcohol isn't a get out of jail free card. What's the phrase "drunk words/actions are sober thoughts". She could have easily said no. As a woman, I HATE when women use the "drunk" "he kept coming on to me" excuse. It's exactly that. Alcohol is an excuse to "do whatever you want and it's okay because I was drunk". Absolutely not. 🤦‍♀️ Edit* yes I'm aware men do the same thing but that's not the point right now 👍
