I'd make him think I was going to Indiana, but stay in hotel, get a babysitter to take kids for the night and go check out the house. This story is just a bit much... He's sketchy as ef. I wouldn't be okay with my partner friending his ex mistress of our marriage.

She needs to show up Tuesday night. Take the kids to an friends house and make arrangements to leave Wednesday instead. SHOW UP! I like the nanny cam idea! Also could have a friend of hers show up!
Thanksgiving. We are at his parents cottage. He is in his truck talking to his new gf after yelling at me. I’m in our bedroom bawling. Year 2. Next year after we broke up he shows up at my door with 2 dozen red roses to propose. I closed the door in his face and told him to never return.
That nanny cam is a dope idea too.
Go with your gut, Claire! We women are very intuitive, when something is off or wrong we know it. So, do what you have to do. I'm praying for you!
She needs to send the flowers to her home, and change her plans to leave Wednesday.

Who's game to stalk CLAIRES house while she is away? Hire a private detective (or ask some friends) to watch the house and film what happens!
I say fake leave.. get a babysitter. And also set up cameras. Shame she would miss time with her family in Indiana though especially with them already having plans. Maybe she could move the visit to over Christmas. Screw this guy.
If I was this woman’s bff, I’d tell her to go to Indiana and let me be her sleuth.

What IF...he's thinking the flowers will be delivered BEFORE she leaves for the trip? Depending how early she plans to leave, this might be a possibility. You know how it goes with kids and plans...she could conveniently leave later than when she told him she was going to.

Nope Bert. Because if he got them for his wife, he wouldn't have hesitated to put a message on the card TO HIS WIFE.
Husband obviously still has feelings for this other person. That’s why he can’t get rid of the other woman. I think the wife to put her foot down on this other woman because the husband is it gonna put his foot down.
He's disrespectful as well if he gives his wife the dead or nearly dead fake flowers.

This other lady is coming to the house !! If she's still in a relationship than his wife free house I'd where it's going down . I'd stay get a sitter and I'd rent a car and park it on the street with a portable dvd player and some snacks . I don't think it would be a long wait sadly till missus pulls up .

Take the kids to your family and leave them with your family, while you fly back and go home tell your husband you wanted to surprise him with some alone time...... The kids will be with family having fun and you can catch your husband or actually spend time alone
