This is why many women choose no longer to date. It just isn't worth the hassle.
I feel like a man should never send flowers to another woman ever while in a relationship. Unless its a family memeber, a congratulations, special occassion, wedding, funeral ect.
I wouldn’t even try to see how he would react. I literally wouldn’t reach out or respond. Match energies and move on.
So I think that it’s hard to switch from in person to long distance so early on that it changed the momentum at a critical time. This is not surprising. BUT that he is so forward and clearly moved on is disappointing and abrupt IMHO.
Had the same experience with a long distance. Communicated every day almost, then got harder to reach her. Finally came home and sure enough, she was seeing other people.
This has been happening in mine, shortly after my gf got this new job. She used to respond within minutes to no more than an hour and would explain why she couldn't answer. A few months into the job and now she takes 2+ hours to respond even when she's home and not doing anything. She'll never explain why she disappears, but seemly has time for friends, movies, social media. Now she's all of a sudden going to this gym for 3-4 hours and typically won't answer texts or send any. She hardly spends anytime with me and seems to always be "busy" and until last Saturday, she went 5 weeks without making any type of plan to include me in anything. Hasn't bothered to explain that long absence.
Got a bad feeling.

So not even worth thinking about.. Time to move on.
I didn't count the first part off at all. Cause in my relationship I knew the other person always wanted to talk and in fact couldn't stop talking. Also in my case I knew this person and was a close/best friend for over a decade before dating. So, for a sudden change in communication that would be very strange. Also, if the lady couldn't get ahold of her bf, the next best thing would be the flat mate to ask if something was wrong. Made perfect sense.

Yeah that's obviously not cheating but that would be a good enough reason to break up in my book. Especially for a new relationship if you're not interested more in a conversation with a new girlfriend then a video game that's probably not a relationship worth keeping
