Level 25 now. Never played it before and I’ve had such a great time just running through the main story quests. I’ll occasionally que up for a dungeon in between :) All of the voice acting as well as the characters have been fun to interact with
It would be greatly appreciated in the future new/returning player video guides if you could provide a timestamps. That way, players can just jump into the section they are interested in.
I really appreciate tip #19. I often struggle to remember that this is a fun game and just taking my time and remembering that everything is a process will help me actually enjoy the world and not quit.
Yes I agree. I'm new but I'm trying to get into end game stuff. I'm thinking I'm not in love with my first character so I thought can't I just get it to 50 and let it start maxing enlightenment? Dalies and keys? Ugh so much stuff to learn! Also for new players maybe a guide on how to build for easy swaps from dps/healer and tank/dps sometimes those dungon ques take a while!
I played till level 15 quit recently came back with a necro cause templar wasn't my thing. Your videos helped me grasp a lot and I'm hooked. Feels good to jump into an MMO clueless and just exploring thanks for the tips 🙏
I am a returning player. I saw a ad for black wood and thought that looks awesome. I already had ESO but hadn't played in so long I forgot about it. Once I figured out my login I had a lvl 21 character but couldn't remember any of the controls so spent a lot looking at settings and whatnot. Having fun relearning how to play. Your tips help thanks
You can also upgrade mount speed by going to Cyrodil and doing the initial training quests on siege engines and getting the assault - vitality skill for +30 mount speed.
Pro tip on fast travel. Buy the Sugar Bowl Suite house in Elsweyr. You can teleport to your house from anywhere. Use teleport outside option. Pops you about 10ft from a wayshrine. Use wayshrine to go anywhere for free.
The best tip for any MMORPG I could give somebody is play what you like. Don't worry about optimization or maxing out a class race combo. if you enjoy looking at your character you're more likely to enjoy the game long-term. Play something that looks good to you, and play the class you want to play.
Day 14.. I am enjoying it.. listened to this before I started now I am listening again to see if i missed much. I'm Templar heals I do not die trying to learn what the best route is in the champion catalog
Tips 24 and 25 are completely new to me as I stop playing over a year ago. Makes me very excited to return to my veteran level character and gear up a new character (has not have all the drops be completely worthless). Good job ESO team...
Tip #26: Zooming the map out is done by clicking RMB (on PC, obviously). Seriously, the game isn't telling you that and it took me a while to figure out! Was a rather frustrating experience.
I just started 3 Months ago and felt so in love with the game that I started uploading some PvP Content :D still have to learn everything but I love it!!
Thank you so much for tip 25. I’ve worked my way to scry/excavation 10 without ever knowing about the antiquarian’s eye being quick slotted. But it’s nice to have now. Maybe you could do a video on commonly missed opportunities and overlooked shortcuts.

Cool video, thanks for the tips. My biggest issue is that I’m too afraid to join a guild and get in contact with others cause I always played solo. Im just unfamiliar with these multiplayer concepts.
An odd mechanic of this game, guilds are per account and you can belong to several of them. There are merchant guilds that serve as trading communities, there are social and role-playing guilds, and there are trial/raiding/pvp guilds that are more content centered guilds like in other games. In other words don't be afraid to join a social guild to make connections and have fun with people! It's not a final decision by any means, and it may very well enrich your play!
Nice vid! I'm just getting back into the game after a long break and I'm loving all the upgrades and improvements to the game, especially antiquities. How about a " Brah we got this " beginners guild on Xbox ?
Recently started, within the last 2 weeks, played it for a few days before realising the craft bag isn't so much as would like item but a must have item which led me to getting eso plus. Not sure if this is the same for 6 and 12 but with the 3 month package on psn you get all the crowns day of purchase rather than a monthly 1650.
Maybe im alone in this, but I dont like level scaling. One of the great motivators to level up is facing mobs that are too hard for your level. If I can beat any trash mob at any level it kind of takes away the motivation to graind for gear that will not change my combat experience
Just started 2-3 weeks ago myself. One thing that is frustrating is as I level up, I feel weaker. I know that's how the system is set up so everything scales, which is nice that you can pretty much go anywhere you like, there isn't any "low level" zones or "high level" zones as far as I can tell. But the downside to that is for new people like myself without 500 champion points or piles of spare gear or mountains of gold, is it can be a struggle. I mean I out level sets before I manage to complete them, unless I want to wear pieces that very from 10-30 for example. Game is fairly fun, but I just wish there were actual pet classes. But it isn't as newbie friendly as people make it out to be. Pretty regularly I get group with people leagues ahead of me, so much more powerful that I might as well be the escort NPC.
one question, if ESO plus gives you the DLCs is there really a need to buy more than the base game? For example, i could pay like $30 for the base game with no dlcs, and pay for the eso plus and I'd have access to everything?
Just started the game a few days ago, I decided to become a magcro after doing some research and so far I’m enjoying it. The only problem is that I feel like magcro isn’t good for pvp, but I’ve been enjoying battlegrounds lately so I might have to switch to stamcro. I’m not sure yet
Magcros can be monsters in pvp. I've played one for awhile and you can play as a tank, healer or dps. Mine is kind of a hybrid of all 3. But they are strong

My skills as well as champion tree was reseted i losted track of quests and ONLY thing that i remember for SURE that "Okey where is stable master I feel like i have very important thing to do whit this guy "

Maxed out speed and stam bars are amazing when combined with Charging Maneuver from the Assault skill line. Questing, skysharding, Cyrodiil, and pretty much everything else is better when you get there quicker 😉
Now I just need more people willing to dip into the lore for videos. I hardly ever see people bringing up ESO lore and certainly not without caveats. "it's not a game for me but it's canon and you can still like ESO and Michael Kirkbride" etc etc

Go see the stablemaster in Alinor just outside the Golden Gryphon bar. He'll talk to a stage 4 vamp. Because he wants everyone to know that the Queen bought her first horse from him.

He didn't have enough and it ended up breaking

Anyone know some basegame armor sets selling on the market decently well atm?
Needs more subscribers . I subbed
Now I just need more people willing to dip into the lore for videos. I hardly ever see people bringing up ESO lore and certainly not without caveats. "it's not a game for me but it's canon and you can still like ESO and Michael Kirkbride" etc etc
i hate that the crafting bag is only aviable via eso+
I think you mean forward slash, not back slash ;p great video though
How do you even get a mount or equip it?!
Level 10 and click h to ride it.

I had know clue you could buy more bag space. Next time I’m on all my gold goes to that
I love this game.
I can’t ever do the mount upgrades cause I’m always stage 4 vampire
Go see the stablemaster in Alinor just outside the Golden Gryphon bar. He'll talk to a stage 4 vamp. Because he wants everyone to know that the Queen bought her first horse from him.
Use hypnotize on NPCs that don't talk to you because you are a Vamp. My main is always stage 4 Vamp...it works
Best tip: dont overthink just enjoy
Thank you! Any Xbox players or guild here? I am a new player and want to join a guild community
