I just made those for the second time. Absolutely delicious! This time I used 150g of applesauce and added 20g of plain rice protein and 50g erythritol instead of maple syrup. Also I made them in a muffin tray. They came out 15. Each one was only 59cal with 3,5g of protein. I truly believe they will turn out to be a staple at home!

This will be my first ever comment.
As someone who has been into fitness/weightlifting for over a decade, I've gotten into many of the "anabolic" recipe videos, and learned a few tricks.
I followed this recipe pretty closely and made some minor alterations to make it truly "guilt free" (if you're someone who counts calories and protein intake). Just posting this in hopes it helps one person try out this recipe, because it's really the first time I've been able to eat a brownie and feel GOOD about it.
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
4 egg whites (133g according to my specific brand)
    1 tsp vanilla extract
280g shredded zucchini (finely shredded, as the video states)
60g (two scoops) chocolate whey protein (I use Isoflex)
125g blended rolled oats (I didn't have oat flour)
    125g unsweetened apple sauce
60ml honey (approximately 86g if weighing on a food scale)
    35g unsweetened hershey's cocoa powder
1/2 tsp splenda (not required, I don't even know if this made a difference at all)
I followed the instructions exactly as per video for prep/cooking.
Once complete, I divided into 9 squares, with approximately (depending on how accurate you are with ingredient measurements and division of the brownies) the following nutritional breakdown:
    131 Cal
    10.4g Protein
    1.5g Fat
    22.6g Carbs
    3.4g Fiber
For someone on a calorie restrictive diet, trying to build muscle (aiming for 1g protein per pound of bodyweight), These brownies are guilt free, and also pretty delicious. They're no restaurant dessert brownie, but they're also 20% of the calorie content.
Great recipe even without my alterations. Looking forward to more videos.

Hi there Phil! Thanks so much for your amazing first comment! Love the recipe upgrade, I believe it will help a lot of people here. I will give it a try, that's for sure. I used mashed banana instead of apple sauce. Also added on crushed chocolate almonds with a a little bit of kosher salt....DIVINE. Definitely not a typical brownie flavor, much darker and not as sweet, but it’s not sickening after you eat them like regular ones. Definitely will make more and might try sweet potato instead of zucchini too 🤔😄

I made this yesterday! My comments.
I followed everything to the T except when adding the following ingredients:
Maple syrup: i didnt have so i put honey instead (its not original original honey)
Apple sauce: i didnt have and its expensive to buy in my country even if it is available so i put yogurt.
I regret putting cinnamon cuz i hate cinnamon and i felt it was too overpowering..probably cuz i hate it, i felt that way.
You cannot taste the zucchini at all. Its so much better than oil or butter ☺.
Oh and i used baking powder and not soda by mistake.
Im no expert in baking so no clue as to the difference either would make.
The brownie wasnt sweet like normal brownies but then again its healthy so who cares. If someone wants it more sweeter maybe you can increase the sweet ingredients.
    Overall i like the recipe.

Divided by nine....mine were around 85kcal, so I ate two topped with greek yogurt and strawberries :P it was yummy that way
