    @timftwlol Iran is very safe! I went last year and we had no problems. It is not recommended to go to the eastern part of the country, so we didn't. We spent 2 weeks touring Tehran, Hamadan, Kermanshah, Ahwaz, Yazd, Persepolis, Shiraz, and Isfahan. The people are wonderful and very welcoming, the sights are amazing, and the food is great. What a wonderfully diverse country with a rich and deep history. Don't be fooled by the media. Caravan-Serai Tours offers tours there twice a year.

    To see Iran,just once in my life.To tread the same ground as did Cyrus the Great and to see with my own eyes Naqš-i Rustam,the great monument to Shapur made after he defeated the Romans.Hopefully one day.

    @crazy4jesus63 You only have to wear a Chador in religious buildings. You always have to cover your hair and your body shape but this doesn't mean several layers of clothing.

    i want to visit Iran but is there any place I can go which is Chador and Hijab free?
    I dress decently and so I see no need to wear several layers of clothing.

    Do you consider Afghans as Persians?

    @crazy4jesus63 well it's kinda essential that you don't show that you have a girlfriend or boyfriend in Iran. Somehow they expect you to be single one day and married the other lol. Anyways, the busses aren't segregated (most of them), but women tend to sit next to each other and vice versa. I know it's all ridiculous, but if you really want to see Iran I suggest you go now ánd after the fall of the regime, just to notice the difference :)

    @Shahin2102 whatever you mean by normal civilized people, stop being prejudice. whats wrong with iran's traditional clothing? as far as am concerned hakim ferdowsi was our famous persian poet who weared a turban on his head.

    I heard the busses are segregated. So how will you travel with your girlfriend in the bus?
    if IR will fall soon then maybe I should wait to travel in free Iran

    @crazy4jesus63 I'm sorry but women are obliged to wear a mantle and a scarf...for now. I'm taking my Belgian girlfriend to Iran in a month and I've been preparing her for the worst but in fact it's not such a burden. You only visit places when it's cooler (in morning or evening) and busses always have airconditioning... being a foreigner I don't think they will pay much attention to how you wear your mantle and scarf, as long as you keep to the dress code.
    Sorry, but the IR will fall soon!

  • @TabbyAngel2
    @TabbyAngel2 15 років тому

    only certain parts of aghanistan like herat are really persian, others and influenced by the dravidian culture. why?

    There is a sense in Iran that Persians, they are someone from somewhere else. they want to be different from all neighboring countries. most of them never meet a Pakistani or Iraqi in their life, they feel superior to Turks or Arabs and if you ask an Iranian are you and Afghans both are Persian, they take it as an insult. They are more in favor of being affiliated to Germany and especially third Reich ideology of Aryan.
