Thanks for watching guys! What song should I cover on this beast next?
Anything by Loathe would be so sick my dude
One of the new Humanity's Last Breath songs. Or any song off Black Tongue's Nadir album
I would love to hear you cover Car Bomb, that would be sick! ❤️💀🙏🏽
@@h34dyl4m4rr That would be amazing, new HLB is killer! 👍🏽🙌🏽
@@MoSaleh89 I second this
Steve Djobs
Indeed
Nice
2:27 can’t help but see that old guy throw his canes and start dancing
lmao same, there's only one trve music video to this song
What video
this guitar is as elegant and lethal as a damn sword
2:26 THE RIFF
and there is only one THE RIFF
THE RIFF!
perfect cover bro but there's one thing missing: meshuggah face at 2:26
The real beauty is how well you mixed this.
This sounds insane man! Love the tones
Great tone and you play with such precision.
Covering this song is the true test for the ultimate tone.
Sick tone!
Kickin' ass for real!!! Sick cover man
Awesome cover, that guitar sounds sick
Nice dude, crushing tone
KILLER SOUND! Love it.
Massive sound
Ciao Keyan! Amazing job and uncanny timing (I've spent the last two weeks re-listening to Meshuggah's works), keep it up with this content #teammorecovers
excellent first cover choice with the baritone
Dude, great cover! I got this guitar on the way and was thinking about doing this very thing! Glad it can handle Meshuggah.
Nice! My fav Meshuggah song
This tone is so good.
These are good pickups from what I hear.
sick
Something off Black tongues nadir album or HLB!
🔥🔥
Fl studio team!! enjoy your videos man!
Ya makin me wanna a baritone.... I hope my bank account will speak to me after this... DAMN YOU, KEYAN!!!!!
Dope cover dude!! 🔥🔥
Maybe some deathcore on this beast next....? Also what are your thoughts on starting a discord server?
keep up the good stuff
Good suggestion. As for the discord server, I’m not really looking to start one anytime soon. There’s heaps of cool discord servers around in this community already
I'm stoked to keep watching you make videos with this guitar. It's ridiculous how decent those stock pickups are. Definitely was the thing that surprised me the most when I got mine. Goes to show just how much scale length has to do with tone and clarity. Awesome cover, man!
Ok. I want this guitar now
Mission failed, we’ll get ‘em next time
@@KeyanHoushmandLive Yeah, september or whenever they’re expected is a bit longer than I’m prepared to wait 😂
Amazing playing! Are those 6 wound strings? :o
This is an awesome cover! It’s great to watch it being covered with a 6 string. I have a 6 string as well (Ibanez RGDIX6PB), what do I have to do in order to play it in such a low tuning besides the tuning? ❤️💀👍🏽🙌🏽
Very thick strings. And practice.
do you perhaps know which tuning this is in?
What a gourgeos guitar...
sick dude thats my favorite meshuggah song right there. sounds pretty good on that guitar there. is that a baritone ? and what scale length does it take to reach F standard?
yeah its a baritone ... normal guitar cant take this sound only baritone or 7 or 8 strings
It is a baritone; and it seems the sweet spot for F standard scale length is 28" - 30"-- the guitar in this video is 30" scale
grOove
Why is one of the backstreet boys so djentle?
Please do Spasm next! (also a meshuggah song)
those are some crisp pick ups. Is this a longer scale guitar? I was wondering if instead of 8 strings you won't just need longer scale and thicker strings, guess you had the same thoughs. Got a schecter demon 8 nonetheless, don't regret it :)
Sounds badass even withou bk impulses
Duuude, is that the stock pups? Sounds killer.
Such a fat tone! I played the main riff 2 octaves higher for fun once heh
Well done! You think the pups are good as is, or do you recommend some aftermarket ones?
Thank you! I got an aftermarket bridge pickup waiting to go in!
Dude always has good tone...
Sick cover my dude, was just curious was studio monitors you’re using, your mixes are always so crisp and tight! I have room for them now so wondering what to get, narrowed it down to Yamaha HS7 and Adam Audio A7V, would appreciate suggestions from any and all!
Hey dude, it’s definitely acoustic treatment + Sonarworks that’s doing the heavy lifting
@@KeyanHoushmandLive Ah thanks man I completely forgot about that stuff! I’ll probably go for the Adams and some stands, then lots of fiddling and referencing till I’ve optimised and learnt them, cheers!
@@guitarsimon1 Don't go yamaha! Adams all the way. The yammies are okay as a 2nd set to reference on every now n then.
Great job man!
Which string-set did you use when you changed the stock-strings?
I own the guitar as well and I'm not really satisfied with the clarity atm.
I didn’t change them, they’re still the same strings
@@KeyanHoushmandLive Oh i see. I changed them to a 90 set from ernie ball. basically a baritone/6-string bass set.
Just looking for a bit more clarity i guess, but alot of baritone sets won't fit because of the lenght.
Just wanted to ask! Thanks for the reply man.
you should do loathe next and keep the turtle neck!!!!
I need some finger tats and a beanie
@@KeyanHoushmandLive you forgot cross earrings
@@KeyanHoushmandLive don’t forget to put in a shirt with a t-shirt over it!
this makes me want a long scale baritone but i'm not sure i can play it with small hands
You can play it just fine. I've seen little girls play full scale bass. It's gonna be more difficult than normal guitar tho.
What set of strings are you using at that scale length (For F standard tuning I guess)?
This was so heavy my phone fell out of my hand
holy shit this sounds amazing. and its stock pickups too?
Yep! Completely stock
@@KeyanHoushmandLive Damn! Im convinced now and might actually buy a guitar from them soon !
Any plans on changing the pickups?
Hurray!ithis is REALLY INSPIRATIONAL,FOR NEWBIE DJENTER ,PLAYING ONLY ON AFFORDABLE CHEAP GUITAR,AND RIG... thank you !its all about LOVE OF DJENTING,NOT GEARLUST..MORE POWER to you mate..(i was wondering wat wud be the best plug ins rhat i can use for me to be able to DJENT heavy.im only using CAKE WALK,cuz my son wont allom me to dowload thx.audio due to memory consumption.)im looking for free but wont take up alot of memory..but if you can do it on cake walk,,pls...let me know..Teach me..low BUDYETFRIENDLY PLUG INS.FOR THE LOVE OF DJENTING😊💥💯🙏
Did you choose to cover demiurge for any reason other than it is probably Meshuggah's easiest song to understand and play?(not that i think you cant play other shuggah songs, just that you got this guitar recently, soooo time constraints) Lol. Great cover btw!
Hahahaha nah it’s my favourite Meshuggah song. It looks easy, but try and double track it in time with no edits hahaha
Oh so bari is the answer
holy shit what size strings are you using???
Big
20-90
How you get that beast sound ?
SubZero Rogue VI... unfortunately it's a bit high in demand right now
I’m pretty sure this song was the main inspiration for Cultist Base off the DOOM Eternal soundtrack
and meathook
also listen to Swallow by Korn it has the same riff
What string gauges where you using? Meshuggah is drop E isn‘t it?
The first band that came into mind when i saw that guitar is Loathe. Are you gonna cover their stuff?!
What pickups are you using?
How on earth did you tune to F standard on that thing or did you pitch shift?
It's a baritone with most likely an 8 string set of strings (the 6 lowest). The extended scale length is what makes it able to tune low.
There’s something about the notes on the lowest string that’s bugging me, I feel like it might be overpowering all the other strings? And it has this constant sound that reminds me of the sound when someone is about to “hock a loogee”. I hope this doesn’t come off as harsh, I usually find your tones killer and really dynamic, and this tone isn’t necessarily bad just it stands out to me in the context of this song.
I feel like more than anything it might be something with how the guitar is currently set up? Maybe the lowest string could be thinner so it doesn’t have as much of that bass string metallic wide loud twang? Or maybe it’s how the bass guitar is sounding alongside it? (I’m assuming you also mixed a bass guitar in there but maybe not.)
Just my .02 cents. If you decide to customize it a bit I know you’ll make it sound nasty (in a good way) not that it sounds bad now! It’s just the way those single notes on the lowest string are ringing that’s got me thinking.
I think the zing from the strings hitting the frets sound too clanky..for the lack of a better word.
What you're hearing is the harmonics of the string, using a bass vi style instrument as a guitar you need to completely hammer the mids in order to separate yourself from the bass and as a result you get that aggressive zingy sound as the bass frequencies are lost, those frequencies are where the sound of the note really lives and you don't ever hear the harmonics on a bass, a guitar amp/vst/sim will almost always reproduce the harmonics over the note.
@@joshuabeckwith7906 this makes a lot of sense! thanks for the explanation dude, I definitely learned something new! :)
@@AntagonistInPhoenix It's not a problem buddy, it was a very good question that not a lot of people ask, but I'm glad it helped 🙂
What tuning did you use since its a baritone?
What strings are you using
I wish they made those in lefty
What is string gauge?
i´m a simple man. isaw Meshuggah cover and i clicked it. great video
Tabs for 6 string?😊
Maximum Twang
Which tuning is this is in
prob f standard, it doesn't sound as low as an 8 string
that top string does look hella chunky though
Changing 8 string with 6 string baritone and thicker string gauge. Ma boi just did a smart move 🤯🤯🤯🙏🙏🙏👌👌👌
Shut
i wish SubZero guitars came to Russia(
sounds like still 8stirng / 7string.
No bari too
What the fuck is the gauge on those strings?
That scale is longer than Burj Khalifa
I feel like this is cheating, but then again, Baena does the same thing, so carry on, I guess. XD
With a 6 string baritone is possible😂
Awesome cover man. But its just, missing something, idk what it is...
2 Strings!?
Jens' beastly vocals?
Small advice: instead of playing the same riff 100 times, change to lead a little bit here and there in order to create some variation on the viewers experience. Great sou d. Cheers!
KILLER SOUND! Love it.
