Years ago I recall the new police and emergency services centre being built outside the M25 near Godstone, and what must have been a rather organised gang broke into and stole a massive amount of tools and goods from the vehicles of almost every tradesman there. I was rather upset about it, only later seeing the irony and probably why they did it just there, and in broad daylight. It does prove a point - the UK police spend all their time in large gangs around individuals who are easy targets and not even breaking the law instead of making headway against real criminals -as the numerous films now prove.

Holbourn is an interesting one. Mass illegality by deliveroo riders using illegal motor bikes [10.3K in fines 18-20 points] and the police do nothing. A major safety issue with people being killed. Ask them why they do nothing, and they state - no resources to protect the public. But turn up and take pictures, and resources magically appear.

I work in an office but I know it's perfectly legal to film a police station and police staff, so why don't police officers know this? The mental health act, is the mental health act. It's legislation relating to laws regarding mental health. It has nothing to do with statistics, 22% or whatever of Police officers with mental health issues. In the same way that any mental health research has nothing to do with the mental health act. It's entirely separate. The Police deal with people with genuine mental health problems every single day. I can understand why they might want to at least check that. I've worked in mental health for over 20 years, so I have some insight and understanding and some sympathy with the Police in that regard at least. How they may abuse their powers in other ways, I do get that.

A good answer to why are you filming a police station is that you come from a highly populated but non inner city area which formerly had a number of them and seeing one now or even a policeman outside of a car is a rather a novelty. Priti Patel's Witham constituency is a good example as whilst home secretary her 65,000 electorate region which formerly had stations in Witham and Tiptree had none that I know of. The police here seem to have more of a special branch motivation with their desire for anonymity and confrontational attitude to the public rather than being an integrated community policing operation.

Where I live many of the violent crimes have been been increasing and ramaining unsolved yet the amount of speeding tickets that are allocated to working people or general harassment of pulling cars over and showing us who's boss whilst nicking people for petty minor motor offences is always on display , and the Police wonder why the public have no time for them it's a shame iPhone weren't invented in the late nineties and early noughties as they would be not have been able to have got away with how they treated the motorist by using motor offences (speeding tickets) against crime statistics like robbery and mugging etc, and how they got away with their tactics re fineng people then putting points on licences knowing that the average person could not afford to fight them in court

The police here seem to have more of a special branch motivation with their desire for anonymity and confrontational attitude to the public rather than being an integrated community policing operation.

Where I live many of the violent crimes have been been increasing and ramaining unsolved yet the amount of speeding tickets that are allocated to working people or general harassment of pulling cars over and showing us who's boss whilst nicking people for petty minor motor offences is always on display , and the Police wonder why the public have no time for them it's a shame iPhone weren't invented in the late nineties and early noughties as they would be not have been able to have got away with how they treated the motorist by using motor offences
(speeding tickets) against crime statistics like robbery and mugging etc, and how they got away with their tactics re fineng people then putting points on licences knowing that the average person could not afford to fight them in court
