This is a very nice and well constructed video I do agree on some parts and disagree on some others. Cop health does seem tuned up at at lower difficulties because it doesn’t change with difficulty anymore they do get heavier armour as the game progresses they made them a bit harder to take down because there are fewer of them as well it isn’t a horde shooter like payday 2 was
Thanks for the response! I didn't actually know about the change to cop health with difficulties until after I'd made the video, so that does make a lot of sense. It's going to be interesting to see how different the gameplay is in the full release, once proper builds and loadouts can be made. Thanks for the knowledge!
on the enemy health part. Enemy health no longer changes per dificulty so on lower dificulties its going to be higher than you would be used to from PD2 and yes cops get better armor as the heist progresses
Thank you for sharing that! I imagine higher difficulties will be balanced with new enemy types and sheer numbers. Although, with the new engine, it's possible we'll see smarter AI, too.
@@staryoshi06ya they definitely start pushing with the shield more and use cover a lot better on hard than on normal but like op said, enemy health is the same for the tanks and armored enemies. Stealth isn’t very hard unless you’re playing on the hardest difficulty.
Initial rumours said the original gang wasn't coming back, but the only playable characters in the beta were the OGs, so it'll be interesting to see who they bring back! If there's no Jacket I riot
What confuses me is why did they bring Joy back? In my opinion if they were going to bring a hiester back it should’ve been either Houston, or Duke, Houston because hes the Youngest hiester, and Duke because hes from NYC.
@@draakool166 they created a problem for themselfs by making so many heisters in Payday 2, me personally i think they should just stick with the OG gang
@Payday2Heister Yes, they are now. I'm saying initial rumours when the game was first teased, said the OG crew had fully retired after the end of Payday 2. Once the game was fully announced, those rumours were quickly squished because the gang coming out of retirement is the hook of the story.
Sorry if this comes off as rude, but it seems like payday 3 is generally meant to be a harder game than payday 2, partially due to them trying to make the game a bit more realistic than payday 2. With a somewhat more realistic amount of cops, they have to make each individual cop more of a threat to balance it out so the game isn’t too easy. And the longer you take the more cops spawn, and the better gear they get. If you’re having trouble I recommend trying to be as efficient with your time as you can, so the cops have weaker gear while you’re waiting for the van where there isn’t much cover. Also aim for the head, cause their head armor never seems to be as strong as their body armor. (Also from my personal experience, the default assault rifle sucks.) Hope this helps. TLDR: Be efficient with your time, and aim for the head.
Agreed, it does seem like it's going to require a bit more finesse and skill to be good at this game. Dodge-shotgun builds were disgusting. Fun! But disgusting. 😆
Personally I had a really easy time connecting and playing with a friend I already had a nebula account connected to steam though but still it was pretty easy The only problem was the performance the game ran at like 20 or 30 fps so I had to touch the config files
That's great to hear you were able to connect! A lot of people I spoke to had a lot of difficulty, myself included, so it was really disheartening for us. I'm really glad they're ironing out these network issues now and not waiting until the full release... Looking at you, Diablo 4 👀
My friend had some problems with making his nebula account, and we had a few problems with the party system at first, but we didn’t really have any more problems after our first session. Though I did notice a lot of stuff that I hope they improve before launch, such as mediocre performance, terrible broken glass textures, lots of missing voice lines, and I personally didn’t like the UI very much. I’m still very excited for the game’s release though.
I wish melee wasn’t completely useless in this game. I think it should at least shove the cop back or even knock them over. Hopefully they make melee more useful before the game releases.
where payday 2 feels fluid and floaty, payday 3 feels stiff and grounded not really liking a lot of the hud elements, shame that preplanning isnt really a thing while im sure the skills are good, the game just sorta feels weird to me, dont really care enough to play a beta i dont really care for to get all of the skills unlocked or whatever. its alright, but not really what i want, maybe 3-7 years when the game is .99 cents as per usual, and some dlc yeah maybe it'll be worth it, payday 2 just has so much more to offer atm tbh..
There are some major differences between 2 and 3 and they do feel like completely different games. I'm chalking it up to the new engine, though. You're absolutely allowed to not be hyped about this game, too! The beta was a very barebones experience - one heist, a handful of guns and max level of 22 - but I believe the full game will come with 8 heists (as opposed to 2's 12), with four new heists being released in Year 1. Also keep in mind, Payday 2 is over 10 years old (August 2013). I'm sure Payday 3 will be chock-full of content in 10 years' time ;)
@@Core2julenToo many people are defending it which makes me think your all botted lmao. They're fair points, still early to judge but they're still fair points to make
I like how payday 3 is more like payday the heist, but overkill wasn’t as hard as I hoped it would be.
Definitely fear it'll be too easy once we get to go past the 7 skill point cap.
The m308 paired with armor bags made overkill very manageable.
