Removing an extremely low mileage factory engine from my M Tech 2 BMW E30? Very scary. But I have a lot of trust in the people that are going to assist me making this car better and more fun than ever. In this video I remove the factory M20 engine and transmission from this JDM imported 320i. The M20 is fantastic, but the future drivetrain of this car far more exciting. I primarily turn a bunch of nuts and bolts in this video, prepping it for the next stage which will be removing all remaining components in the engine bay so that the car can go to Delta Park Auto to have the bay painted in preparation for new parts. lol a block heater. I remember pulling my first M20 out of an E30, you made it seem like you were so calm the entire time, I know there was a lot of "wtf" and "damn it" moments. Nevertheless, great video as always.

That slow motion effect was crazy good
it may only have 44k miles but it also has 30-40 years of age. I can't imagine its still good after so long. metal rusts, rubber seals harden. whether you drive it or not after so long you need a full rebuild anyways so you may as well have driven it and had some fun, those collector types are so dumb
