The new added section is amazing and kinda sounds like Splatoon music with that glitched vocal
This was one of the remixes I looking foward to the most and I was very happy with it! Like the original, it's one of my personal favorites and the new section at the end is cool too!

This BASTARD of a boss was the biggest pain in the neck in my Double Pain run. 10 damage per turn up to three times. So, out of spite, I ran Double Pain in the remake JUST for this boss and I used nothing but Spring Jumps when Mario could attack and cooked a tasty Zess Dynamite for the Tentacles. BOY, does Smorg sucks!
I tried to refrain from upgrading HP as much as possible and had 15 health on this fight with the double pain badge equipped. Smorg’s piranha plant phase does 20 damage and I was stuck for like 3 hours lol!
I was able to go out of this fight with ONE HP left for Mario

The only thing this remake didn’t really do was expand the role and lore of the Smorg. They even nerfed the boss battle! (EDIT: no they didn’t, I’m just misremembering things)

so this boss is supposed to have multiple form's right? I'm not tweaking cause I think I killed it too fast
Pretty much yes cause if you don’t kill him fast enough the smorg will start to form into a claw and bring out 2x the damage so it’s a good thing that you killed it fast
We need the new "meanwhile in bowser's castle"
