Appreciate these “comparisons” you guys been doing but they are really misleading. Is comparing 2 bikes mainly from recollection and stat sheets really fair to call them direct comparisons? As anyone who has ridden two bikes back to back, side by side will tell you, other things take shape that memory just can’t account for so much. I think you should really call these something other than “comparison” videos unless you have both bikes sitting there in front of you. Just my two cents.
It’s incredibly subjective, to me the Honda looks uninteresting, too clean, sophisticated and polite almost. The Suzuki looks very mean and muscular. Very interesting to me. That being said, I am only loving on the all black version as it gives more mystery to the design. Draws me in more to want to have a closer look. Then it comes to riding, and I adore the K5 engine and short gearing for a street fighter. Yes I have tested it.
Not much of a comparison! Using old press releases of bikes then comparing them at later date is not an accurate comparison. It's cost cutting, a bit like the way Suzuki building their motorcycles haha! To give readers a true comparison, have two test riders take both brands out for an extended tour, swap rides and then compare the pros and cons of each bike. If you need some inspiration check out the way MCN do their in-depth comparisons eg their combined test of the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT vs Kawasaki's Ninja 1000SX.
Suzuki bang for the buck Honda’s are in a class of their own but the industry needs more affordable bikes to get the sport alive period Europe and the US are in a Great Recession
A naked liter bike is a naked liter bike on the street 🤷🏽♂️ it doesn’t matter. The GSX S1000 is “cheaper” with a proven winning Heritage motor. It wins easy in my book
This should of been done with the Katana not the Gsxs. Is the Honda 2k better than the suzuki? No way. This is your personal opinion aswell. My brother had the "uber" cool black edition and chopped it in for a gsxs, said the suzuki is 100% better than the Honda.
You're right of course. Looks are subjective... One of them looks very good. The other, does not. But we all know that where Kawa do a good(ish) job looking all Transformer-franchise-esque, the Suzi looks like a cheap knock-off Transformer.

Suzuki 😎
that looks like Mount Ventoux they are riding around.
Is the Honda £2,000 better than the Suzuki ?
HONDA CBR 1000 R Black Edition
0-60?????
Not much of a comparison! Using old press releases of bikes then comparing them at later date is not an accurate comparison. It's cost cutting, a bit like the way Suzuki building their motorcycles haha! To give readers a true comparison, have two test riders take both brands out for an extended tour, swap rides and then compare the pros and cons of each bike. If you need some inspiration check out the way MCN do their in-depth comparisons eg their combined test of the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT vs Kawasaki's Ninja 1000SX.
Pity for Australia riders as Honda has discontinued their sale of CB1000R
Do you prefer the Honda? Do you prefer the Suzuki? NOBODY CARES except you.
Honda all the way
I am usually a Honda guy... but here I prefer the suziki - very cheap for what you get - at least in denmark. 5600£ in difference....
I am leaning more towards the Suzuki although they are both great looking bikes 👍
O-60???
3 seconds?
I miss the engine sound ... dont miss speaking.
This should of been done with the Katana not the Gsxs. Is the Honda 2k better than the suzuki? No way. This is your personal opinion aswell. My brother had the "uber" cool black edition and chopped it in for a gsxs, said the suzuki is 100% better than the Honda.
I Choose Suzuki Design & Power
Would go for the most comfy bike,
With more low down grunt.
At last some whom actually knows what they need.
love the gsx-s
Suzuki, any day!
Nah
this bikes are perfect for me. I'm to old for a super sport and to young for a cruiser. hahahaha.
Luggage problem on the Suzuki still has not been adressed.
You're right of course. Looks are subjective...
One of them looks very good. The other, does not.
But we all know that where Kawa do a good(ish) job looking all Transformer-franchise-esque, the Suzi looks like a cheap knock-off Transformer.
Suzuki have fine tuned the gsxs to make it better to ride and at the same time ruined the styling imo
What is going on with the price of motorbikes, its getting ridiculous.
I just wish honda was still utilizing their V4 engine. These inline 4 cylinder bikes are boring now
Suzuki isn’t 149 , it’s actually 153
Triumph bonneville T120
on the honda the quickshifter is not standard LMAO, same with the fireblade
wtf
Nice bike
Gsxs looks good
getting the gsxs1000... tested both.. hmmm honda lacks spirit.. too clinical.
