I have seen many videos of motorcycles, but watching your video has encouraged me to return to the road, from what I have seen, the characteristics of the CB 1000 R are very similar to those of the CB 900 HORNET, but improved in power and in electronic aids, and reduced weight. I ride this bike and love it in every aspect. Bike can go fast but decision is yours. Acceleration is incredible and helps riding safely when you know how to use it. Same for brakes. You need some experience and some order in your head to fully enjoy this (and any other) bike.

I'm working with my local dealer to find a unit available from another dealer in Arizona, Nevada or Colorado. None available here in New Mexico. I really enjoyed your video! I've watched the factory video, which is exciting, but your video puts the bike in the hands of real riders! Don't know your name, sir, so I'll refer to you by your Ol' Man moniker: I suspect you and I are close to the same age, Ol' Man. It's fun to see another 'youngster' having fun twisting the grip!!
Just watched this again. 100 per cent accurate comments regarding the countryside at the end. Great bike and exquisite jacket, Ol' Man. Which Goldtop is it, please?
Thanks buddy. The jacket is the 619 Rebel Black. Really high quality leather! goldtop.co.uk/collections/jackets/products/the-619-rebel-jacket?variant=37942603317419
It was a great review, not that that matters as much to me as the fact that that all of your videos are superb! Comedy value is always there, together with the important stuff! Seeing Odin riding a bike is worth it initself, and of course odins spawn always delivers! Bravo! On a negative side; you have cost me a fortune in purchasing bikes already!
This makes me all the more eager and curious to see you review a Kawasaki Vulcan S since it sits right in between this sort of naked bike and a traditional cruiser. If the weather wasn't so crap I'd offer to ride down and let you ride and review my 2021 Vulcan S
Great review, as always! 👍🏻 I currently ride the 650R and don’t feel the need for the upgrade, but this is definitely a great option in the 1000 class.
Another excellent video/review, not my cuppa-tea bike-wise, that said it does look fun to ride. At times I felt I should be wearing my helmet watching the the onboard sections😃
This bike looks stunning. But with this kind of motorcycles, with so much power, it is almost impossible to keep your driver's licence... That's why I prefer Harleys on open roads. You can have so much fun under 60mph compared to these bikes. I would compare it to the Suzuki katana or the gsxs 1000. But in terms of look, the honda is quite unique. I would still get the new gsxs 1000 for the Gsxr engine! Great review guys!
Thanks buddy. It really is more powerful than you need on the road and personally cruisers are the sensible option. We put ourselves into others shoes as you know, and obviously lots of people want max power 👍🏼
I've owned this black addition since April 21 fresh in from Bransons of Yeovil, great machine I love around the Dorset County roads. Intend to keep. Great review. Kind regards Lee Willmington. 52
Mate 100 percent true. I've had 2 CBR600RRs and every single mechanic shop would tell me they have seen that bike go 80,000 - 100,000 miles. Meanwhile the other crotch rockets are Lucky to see 30,000 miles. Anyway, this CB1000R will be my next bike and I can't F'ing wait!! 😎😍😁
Excellent review, thanks guys! I am to stupid for a bike of that potential on the street. At some point 'The Red Mist' would descend and it would be prison, serious injury or worse.......
Thanks for this lovely review. I am a beginner and decided to purchase the CB650R . I was keep spinning around the 1000r but I noticed they look very similar and being a beginner I didn’t choose death lol . I am perfectly aware 650 is also very strong tho I don’t want to start my motorcycle career on a 1000 straight away 🙏

Very good-looking bike. I'm not really an inline four person, although these litre ones are very tractable. I used to have a 1340 cc B-King so am used to them. I prefer twins, though.
I also just bought new black edition Honda, after test drive which was amazing... I sold my KTM 1290 super duke 2020, duke is much more faster on speed, you cant compare with honda, but I like honda sitting possition, engine sound, and will be enough.
@@MrDarcy-OlMan yeah, because KTM sitting position much more aggressive, my hand start feel pain after few miles, with honda was easier, I was testing 1h, so they will install tracker and on thursday will be ready, really KTM great bike, its so powerfull, but in village run its too much. Enjoyable video to watch on a wet Friday pm. Good to see that your thatch is in good nick, & the green paintwork is standing up to the weather we're having. Hadn't realised you were local to me - I often ride the roads around Uppingham, Harborough & that winding route up to Melton Mowbray. Can't wait for some sunshine so I can get out there on my new RE Conti GT 650. The CBR? Lovely - I had one of the originals (2009 plate) & it was all the bike you would need - fast, stylish, comfy - & with the cachet of a fireblade motor. This new one is a worthy replacement but, like many new bikes, I don't think I've seen a single one on the road which is a shame.
Son just got one. They are a great handling, very punchy bike. I have the Z900RS and although not quite as quick as the Honda, is considerably more comfortable imo. I’m 6ft, and I find the pegs just too high on the Honda, with a firm seat as well, but fine for shorter rides.
Another great HONDA. I like the bike. Everything makes sense. Besides that, one gets the legendary HONDA longtime quality. Could be my next bike. Btw, great review, boys. Thanx a bunch. Greetings from Germany, Fred.
Thanks to you for this, I've just ordered one ! And yep had the same fun with the Leicestershire County Council cutting the verges I'll let you know what happens with my purchase 👍
I wish they would offer another color here in the US. I think this bike should be compared to the MT-10. They may not both be neo-retro, but they match up well.

Thanks very much bro. That’s exactly what we aim to convey. 👌🏼👍🏼
Just watched this again. 100 per cent accurate comments regarding the countryside at the end. Great bike and exquisite jacket, Ol' Man. Which Goldtop is it, please?
Thanks buddy. The jacket is the 619 Rebel Black. Really high quality leather! goldtop.co.uk/collections/jackets/products/the-619-rebel-jacket?variant=37942603317419
@@MrDarcy-OlMan Thanks for the link!
The black edition looks stunning but I think I would go for the standard silver one and save a bit of money 💰
good format, would love to see a comparison between this and the new gsx-s 1000
It’s a struggle to get bikes at all at the moment do getting 2 is going to be impossible! Especially as Suzuki never reply to us!
That was nice riding fast on the straight road with you👍
Thanks buddy. Nearly got to 60 😇
@@MrDarcy-OlMan Not bad ( for an old fart), lol.
Thanks buddy. Ahh sorry 💰💰
Nice review guys. Really enjoyed it
Love the father & son riding in the countryside-format!
Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
This makes me all the more eager and curious to see you review a Kawasaki Vulcan S since it sits right in between this sort of naked bike and a traditional cruiser.
If the weather wasn't so crap I'd offer to ride down and let you ride and review my 2021 Vulcan S
Ahh ok! Maybe one day 👍🏼👍🏼
Great review, as always! 👍🏻 I currently ride the 650R and don’t feel the need for the upgrade, but this is definitely a great option in the 1000 class.
Yes the 650 is plenty fast enough tbh. It’s not all about speed anyway, but we have to convey that as it’s what many people wanted to know 👍🏼
Great Review!!
It’s like a Modern Cafe Racer.
Love the channel Bruv!
Thanks buddy! 💯👍🏼
Another excellent video/review, not my cuppa-tea bike-wise, that said it does look fun to ride.
At times I felt I should be wearing my helmet watching the the onboard sections😃
Thanks buddy. Insanely fast! We must have hit at least 30mph 😇
Such a beautiful bike.😍
I appreciate the review.
Definitely! Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
I've owned this black addition since April 21 fresh in from Bransons of Yeovil, great machine I love around the Dorset County roads. Intend to keep. Great review. Kind regards Lee Willmington. 52
Fabulous! Certainly a bike for keeps! 👍🏼
You guys are brilliant. Thanks for making such a compréhensive video. Stay safe.
For your size.... It looks like a Honda grom.. nice review... Cheers🙏.... The black version looks hot❤️
Haha yeah. 👍🏼👍🏼
Typical Honda high quality, 50+ years of developing 4 cylinder engines, doesn't get any better, that'll do 100,000 miles. .
Yes they are so refined 👍🏼👍🏼
Mate 100 percent true. I've had 2 CBR600RRs and every single mechanic shop would tell me they have seen that bike go 80,000 - 100,000 miles. Meanwhile the other crotch rockets are Lucky to see 30,000 miles. Anyway, this CB1000R will be my next bike and I can't F'ing wait!! 😎😍😁
Great video thanks for sharing, I am thinking about getting this bike, here in the US.
Excellent! Thanks very much 👍🏼
Nice looking bike, and fun to ride. Great review!
Yes very striking. Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼
Excellent review, thanks guys! I am to stupid for a bike of that potential on the street. At some point 'The Red Mist' would descend and it would be prison, serious injury or worse.......
You really have to keep it in check!
Thanks buddy. Good decision. The 1000 is a bit mental!
If you can drive a 650, you can also drive the litre
@@Senfflosse i am
In Uk I doubt i would have the chance to push to the limit even the 650 . I can keep it for a year or two than part exchange plus difference for 1l .
@@MrDarcy-OlMan i just returned the 650r and payed the difference for a 1000r red lol
@@electrobitnewportapplerepa7219 wow really! Great 💯👍🏼
Hi guys!!I bought this bike as my first one !! I had dirt bike experience and i drove couple of pretty powerfull bike before buying it .. i would not recommend to everybody starting on that bike because its really fast but it’s sure doable ..
Thanks buddy. Yes it’s certainly quick! 👍🏼
Oh !! And yes this bike is a screamer with even with just a slip on
Very good-looking bike. I'm not really an inline four person, although these litre ones are very tractable. I used to have a 1340 cc B-King so am used to them. I prefer twins, though.
Ok right on. 👍🏼👍🏼
I already have my order in for the Trident 660 but ... this is a pretty sick forkin' bike! Great vid as usual, thank you for sharing.
Hope you enjoy it!
Would love to see your review of the old Honda Shadow VT750. Just for the perspective of a Harley rider trying an introductory Japanese cruiser.
Yes shame they don’t make something similar now really
I’m definitely considering this bike coming from a 600 naked!
OK. We hope the video helps with your decision 👍🏼👍🏼
The beard sticking out the bottom of the helmet... LOL, sooo funny.
Yes it saves on scarves 👍🏼
I also just bought new black edition Honda, after test drive which was amazing... I sold my KTM 1290 super duke 2020, duke is much more faster on speed, you cant compare with honda, but I like honda sitting possition, engine sound, and will be enough.
Great! Yes the Honda has everything you need! The KTM is too fast for the road really
But funny think, then I jump on Honda, I felt immediatly that power is not the same :D
Had a few older KTMs ,felt like a toy compared to Honda,Japanese manufacturers.
I am so glad that I came across this channel as this review was phenomenal. Keep up the good work gentlemen.
İts incredible bike. Thank you for review .
Thanks buddy 💯👍🏼
Thanks buddy! Yes some nice roads and locations in the area. 👍🏼👍🏼
Stunning bike, bikes always look great in black…
Yes indeed 💯
Son just got one. They are a great handling, very punchy bike. I have the Z900RS and although not quite as quick as the Honda, is considerably more comfortable imo. I’m 6ft, and I find the pegs just too high on the Honda, with a firm seat as well, but fine for shorter rides.
Yep. I’ve seen all that I need to. I have got to get me one of these
I’ve got one, love it
👍🏼👍🏼💯
“It will change direction like a squirrel being chased by a fox” 😂 classic comment OM..love it!
Hope your leg is mending well..atb..Alan
I have a 2018 and absolutely love it!
Awesome!
Good to watch. Great double act. Not a bad bike either.
Thanks buddy 💯👍🏼
Another great HONDA. I like the bike. Everything makes sense. Besides that, one gets the legendary HONDA longtime quality. Could be my next bike. Btw, great review, boys. Thanx a bunch. Greetings from Germany, Fred.
Greetings Fred glad you enjoyed the video! It certainly is a fantastic bit of kit!
You won't be disappointed. Future classic before fossil fuel demise!
Thanks to you for this, I've just ordered one ! And yep had the same fun with the Leicestershire County Council cutting the verges
I'll let you know what happens with my purchase 👍
Awesome!
Yes leicestershire think caring for the environment means chopping it down !
I wish they would offer another color here in the US. I think this bike should be compared to the MT-10. They may not both be neo-retro, but they match up well.
I am currently riding a Ducati monster 797 but grew up on Honda CBR900RR fireblades for over 20 years. I am in the market now for this bike, so thanks for the info.
Honda did a great job with this bike. I am very tempted to pick one up. I have a previous gen Speed Triple and I am torn between this and the new Triple. I had a Honda CBR 1000rr and I loved that bike.
What a dilemma!
The Honda is a lot of bike for the money I’m testing one soon hopefully....however the latest Triumph speed triple is an absolutely amazing bike and would highly recommend you test ride one.
Currently own the 650 CBR will upgrade in 3 yrs
Excellent 👍🏼
Great review. Have the 2019 model and these bikes are excellent 👌
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
