it gets stuck on the loading part that says checking if device is ready, i waited overnight at one point and it never worked

the "checkn1x-1.13.zip" file. Underneath Assets.
I had to reinstall the system through this :) The computer did not detect windows after using Checkn1x
Unplug the USB, Turn off your computer, Turn it on. If it persists, go into boot mode and select Windows to boot. Also, turn on Secure Boot.

When you enter boot mode, do not press "Alt" or "Fn(if you have it)", just press F12 or the boot key you have. Once in Checkra1n, press Fn(if you have it) and F2.

It will not work. iPhone XS Max has an A12 Processing Chip. Checkra1n only jailbreaks for iPhone 5s-iPhone X. If you're on ios 13.5 or below, try the Unc0ver Jailbreak.
