For the priority envelopes do the items need to be at 1lb or 16oz to ship that way. I’m also new to selling comics on whatnot and as I’ve been reading through some guidelines I’ve seen that in order to use priority shipping the item has to be at that 16oz limit as a minimum. Even with two comics in an envelope I was barely getting 10 oz.
I ship slabs in a 1092 box that I then put inside a 1095 box with 2 feet of bubble wrap on each end to take up the space normally 1 slab is well under $10 anywhere in the lower 48.
I've seen on UA-cam guy selling shoes actually break down a priority mail box and bend / fold it to the size he needs. I'm still looking for the best way.

Just note that the Regional Rate boxes have weight limits, so if your double boxing throws it over, you'll be charged for the regular Priority rates.
